I am brand new to Acumatica. I entered in our Trial Balances as of 02/29/2024. Our go live date was 03/01/2024. I did not take into account checks written in Acumatica prior to go live. Also, there were some prior year adjustments, which affected my FY beginning balances. My question is: do I post journal entries as of 3/1/2024 or can I enter trial balances for 3/1/2024? If I enter trial balances for 3/1/2024, will this negate all transactions on 3/1/2024? 

Under Customers, after clicked on generate on demand then click on print statement, I tried to click send. But the email template not pop up, pls help:)

Hello I am reconciling my Monthly tax detail report with my GL account 2045 (Sales Tax Payable) and noticed that  5 Invoices with sales tax are not showing on Sales tax payable GL account. All others are showing up.. Any idea why? The invoices are created from appointments if that helps 

I want to record the bank deposit received from Shopify Payments and move the payments from my clearing account to my regular account. However no payments that used Shopify Payments show up when I go to do a bank deposit 

 Would like to have a Column Set that only adds the months up to the “TO” period in the Parameter.  Was using a copy of the Rolling 12 column set but it includes totals for months past the parameter selection.  For example if we run it from 01-2023 to 03-2023 we want it to only include amounts for periods 01 to 03 and nothing beyond that.  

ACU V 24.105.0036 - Sensitive custom ARM reports are showing for a user who’s roles have the reports Revoked. For example, Here is a list of the User’s Roles that should NOT see the highlighted report in the second screenshot.This is what each of the four roles above looks like: This is what comes up for the User with those four roles (and it runs perfectly, allowing access to transactions): This user should not have access to any of the Financial Statements.  Ideas?

Hi,I run the profit and loss statements under “Finance/ Financial Statements”. There is no account number show in the report. May I ask what is the way to show account number in the report? Thank you.Raymond  

So for certain customers we use a non-stock charge item on the SO/Invoice. If this particular case the SO was create that had 10 units of stock item X, and a second line item for the non-stock item for Qty 10. We had to short ship the SO, so only shipped 9 units of stock item X. (As you know non-stock items do not populate on shipment)When we prepare the invoice the stock item comes over correct @ 9 units, but the non-stock item still defaults to the SO qty of 10 and cannot be changed nor deleted. The only way I can see to fix with is to delete the shipment, change the SO qty. We would not want to do this because I want to see the original source of record, the SO and the qty, and what we shipped. I want to see that 10 were order but only 9 were shipped.Is there a config change needed in the non-stock item setup? Seems implausible that I need to delete the shipment and change the SO, but wanted to get the opinions of the group before I did that.  Thank yo

In our test environment, we’ve created a Non-Stock ‘Freight Estimate’ item to add to Sales Orders so we can authorize a credit card payment before the shipment.  The ‘Require Shipment’ box is unchecked and the settings for our Sales Order Preferences, Order Type, Shipping Rule, and Non-Stock Item are identical, but in our Live environment it is left off the Shipment (visually), but is pulled onto the Invoice and shows the Shipment # on the line.  This does NOT happen in testing which is the desired behavior. We have ‘Add zero lines for Items not in Stock’ checked and we give the ‘Freight Estimate’ a quantity of 0.   Does anyone have any info on why a non-stock item that doesn’t ‘Require Shipment’ is being attached on the back end to the shipment..and messing up our invoices? This issues has been driving me and our Partner nuts.  Nobody seems to be able to figure it out, so I’m really hoping someone here can help us out.  I can post a ton of

This is just a general question. What is the purpose for Location on the Payments and Applications (AR302000) screen? As far as I can tell it doesn’t do anything. Is there any use cases for Location?  

I am trying to set up a tax calculation for Washington B&O tax which is a gross receipts tax paid by the company and not the customer based on the products sold.  I am unable to find any examples of setting this type of tax calculation.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning,I am trying to do a refund through a payment received in a closed financial period.How is it possible to do so while keeping the financial period closed?  We are refunding it as of today but the payment will not allow a refund to occur due to the financial period being closed when the payment was received.

hello all,I have a report - Column set - has various columns for different months. The month names/dates/periods are not fixed. The report displays the values based on the user selection for the Start Financial Period. So now I am looking to display the month names in the report.The columns that i have in the report are: @StartPeriod,-12, @StartPeriod,-11….@StartPeriod,-1.Where -12, -11, -1 can be any month (jan or july or nov etc.) So if my Start Financial Period = 04-2024 then the value for @StartPeriod,-12 would be = 03-2023 and similarly I am looking to display the month name for this.How to do that?

Does anyone have a clue about this strange error message "Business Account is ."This is an error on a Vendor account when trying to add a Vendor Part Number to an Item.It makes no sense to me and tells me nothing. Any ideas?Thanks in Advance

Hello all,I have been trying to display a range of columns in balance sheet. So the starting period is fixed - July 2023 whereas the end period is not fixed. It can be either Jun 2024 or greater than that. So how can I setup the report so the number of columns are displayed based on the selection of the end period. below is the design of the balance sheet.balance sheet will have the multiple columns of periods

We have a client who needs to depreciate their assets (Land/Property) for a FULL year at a time every year.  So they may have some assets that depreciate over 5, 10 or 50 years, but they only want the full amount of depreciation for the year on the last day, NOT monthly.We thought we could define a depreciation method for the year, but then it wants to depreciate the first full year on the day you enter it and then the next year it will still calculate monthly.They could do this in their old system, so perhaps I’m just missing something?How can I define the depreciation method for them accurately and have it only post annually on the last day of the year? 

Dear Community,  I would like to request your help on clearing amount of “Unbilled Prepayment Total” field under “OTHER” tab of a purchase order. We created a PO with 2 detail lines with same price “14,673,000”. After that we made one Prepayment Bill for first line of the PO. And we paid through Check and Payment Screen.After that, actual Bill came in and the amount was only “13,480,699”. So, we created Refund form for the remaining “1,192,301” and linked with Prepayment.

HI,The trial balance in my system only show the account number. Information like “subaccount”, “project/ contract”, “project task” are missing.Is there a way to run a trial balance with all the other information?Thank you.Raymond

Need to hide a AP Bill from some Acumatica users ( AP Clerk) . This bill is a Confidential bill . Only the Controller should be able to see it . How to do it ? Any Ideas? 

So below is the reversing debit to clear out an invoice, my screen froze and now the transaction is in reversed status.   What is the best way to correct this?
