We have an invoice from 2022 with a small negative balance that we would simply like to do away with in any manner possible. Since it is from 2022, write offs, credit memos have not worked. Now just looking for suggestions on how to just get rid of it, if possible. Thanks!

Hello,

We can write off previous year invoice balances. What’s unusual about Invoice 972483’s balance is negative, less than $0.

Please try recalculating your Customer’s balance, including two options as shown:

After recalculating, is the Invoice Balance $0? After recalculating, does Receivables → Write Off screen work (make sure Write Off is allowed and greater than the balance of the Invoice after the recalculation)?

If you cannot close or write off the invoice after recaculation, a support case may be needed.

@scottjohnsonhere Can you check if correct invoice works here?

@Manikanta Dhulipudi thank you for your response. I don’t see a link to where you are referring?
