Is there any way to prevent customer discounts from affecting credit memos? We want to create credit memos without the discounts.

Hello,
What kind of discounts are you asking about? Early Payment cash discounts, or Line/document discounts?
How are your credit memos being created? -- In AR module, in Sales Order module, or something different?
I noticed this previous post answered by Yuri that explains, order types using RMA behavior do not use discounts (possibly creating a reconciliation problem when credit memos are higher than the original sale amount). I’m not sure using an order type with RMA behavior fits your situation.
