I’m Brian Stevens, a developer on Acumatica ERP since 2018 after two decades of supporting a legacy ERP. Having participated in seven, I am a huge advocate for the annual hackathon that kicks off summit every year. I worked for an Acumatica customer until early 2024 when I joined Nuvei and entered the ISV landscape. My duties as an Acumatica customer spanned not only development, but also training and implementation which gave me valuable perspective as the end user. Now I use that perspective to consider the user experience for customizations supporting our payment solutions. At the 2025 Hackathon, my team created the Acumatica 3D Photo Booth. Upload a normal photo of a person to a sales order and click a simple button on the sales order screen. Then walk over to the Creality 3D printer, ensure the print bed is clear, and print the file that has been deposited on the printer. A few minutes later, see the person in the normal photo as a 3D miniature.I have a wife and 2 sons. Whe
I'm Neil Cantral, Director of IT at Wilmar Performance Tool (a B2B distributor of automotive tools and equipment).I've been working with Acumatica since 2016, focusing on customization, automation, and reporting — basically anything that helps streamline processes. I’m also big on EDI and WMS. Along the way, I’ve been named an Acumatica MVP three times and was honored as Acumatica Distribution Customer of the Year in 2024. I am also one of the leaders of the Pacific Northwest User Group and a member of the Distribution CAB.I love connecting with others in the community, sharing knowledge and experiences online and in-person has been critical to my success over the years. Always happy to chat — let’s connect!Even outside of work I'm always building something. I almost always have a model or prop I'm working on when I'm not tinkering with my aquarium or a strategy game. @Neil Cantral Moderator notes:MVP profiles are closed to comments in order to provide the respective MVP with a page
Hi! My name is Iqra Harrison, and I’m a Senior Business Consultant (recently promoted to Director of Chaos) at Protelo Inc. I embrace this title both professionally and personally. Whether I’m finding innovative solutions to business problems or orchestrating harmless office pranks (like hiding 200+ tiny ducks around our Folsom office), I love making memorable moments that bring people together. My journey to becoming an Acumatica MVP started as an end-user leading an implementation which gave me firsthand insight into business challenges and operations. That experience, combined with my background in accounting across multiple industries, sharpened my ability to solve problems imaginatively and communicate complex ideas effectively. Transitioning into consulting, I quickly earned my Acumatica certifications and continued leading complex implementations and successful upgrades. I was able to focus on helping clients leverage native features and automation, avoiding costly customization
I have a list of BoMs and their revisions that I would like to archive. Seems PRETTY straight forward but I keep getting a “Document” error during my import. Error: 241 items have not been processed successfully. View name: Documents.
We want to integrate the maps with Acumatica to display the order coordinates based on shipping addresses. Our goal is to sequence the orders according to the shortest route and visually represent them with numbered stops on the map. We would appreciate any insights on how to achieve this efficiently.
Could anyone provide a screenshot of a Row Set Import Scenario for ARM Reports? I am just a little confused on how the Data Source portion works. We normally just setup the reports manually, but this is our first customer who has several hundred lines per report so we would much rather import the bulk. The Data Sources will be “Start Account”, “End Account”, “Start Sub”, and “End Sub”.

I am trying to add location and qty in location to Historical Inventory Valuation Report - IN617000, but I have some location that doesn’t select ‘ cost seperate’. I get trouble in join 3 tables including: INitemsitehist ( Location & Qty), INitemcosthist (Beg. Cost, End. Cost) and INitemcosthistbyPeriod(LastActivitiesPeriod)Case 2
Hi Everyone,I am currently working on a Generic Inquiry to display stock items along with their quantities on hand across all warehouse locations. I have managed to achieve the desired results by grouping the data using “InventoryItem.InventoryCD” to eliminate duplicates. However, I face a challenge when I attempt to use the GI in a business event that is meant to inactivate items once the quantity on hand reaches zero. The business event works correctly when I remove the grouping from the GI. Can anyone suggest a solution for this issue? I have attached the GI for your reference.
Hello,I am trying to limit the available values for an attribute based on a value selected for another attribute.Eg: If user select TOYOTA in the Make Attribute, the Model attribute shows only the models for TOYOTAIs there a way to achieve this?

When emailing invoices through the ‘Print Invoices and Memos’ screen, the invoices get marked as ‘Emailed’ even if the process encounters errors and the emails do not send. The emailed status should only be updated to ‘Emailed’ once the email is successfully sent and not when the process errors out.
I’ve been trying to find an estimate for when the Acumatica Interactive Courses on the Open University will be available again. Can’t seem to find a firm time estimate. Anyone have any info on the matter?
Hello dear community,I was wondering if someone knows how to fix this error. "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" Error happens when processing Order Type SC in Sales Orders. This is just in one of our tenants.
Hello! My name is Aasha, pronounced (AH-shah). I joined the Acumatica community in 2020 when our mid-size construction company switched from being on QuickBooks for almost 20 years to Acumatica. I have learned so much about cloud-based applications ever since and what a world it is! My primary role is accounting/finance driven and has quickly become heavily IT/SAAS oriented. I’ve been with my current company for 8.5 years and have witnessed and been a part of so much growth and technology advancements. I am excited for years to come as our business continues to grow and the challenges it brings. I’ve met some wonderful individuals through our Acumatica partner and also by attending Acumatica Summit. It’s a great time to collaborate with other professionals, learn some new tricks, see what’s coming down the pipeline, and of course having some fun away from the everyday grind 😊 I reside in the Kansas City area. Outside of my professional role, you’ll find me spending time with my young

Does anyone know if it’s possible to create an Approval Map for Purchase Receipts? We need to create an Approval Map that will put a Purchase Receipt into “Pending Approval” status and send it to an approver when the REMOVE HOLD action is executed on the Purchase Receipt screen (PO302000). We currently use Approval Maps for a variety of things, so we have a fairly good understanding of how to create them. But when we tried to create one for our Purchase Receipts, we discovered that “Purchase Receipts” isn’t an option in the Entity Type list. The closest thing to it is “Purchase Orders” which is a completely different object. We also discovered that there doesn’t appear to be a “Purchase Receipts Preferences” screen like the ones used to enable approvals for Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, AR, etc.. The closes thing we could find was the “Receipt Assignment Map:” option on the “Purchase Orders Preferences” screen but that’s for assignment maps, not approval maps. Has anyone in the communit
We’re exploring using blanket orders with line splits based on Customer Order Nbr. values, and it appears to be working well! We ran into some odd behavior: when creating a sales order with the REST API (using the /SalesOrder endpoint), we’ve observed that the value specified in the a detail line’s CustomerOrderNbr field is apparently discarded in the generated order whenever that line’s OrderQty is greater than one. This does not seem to happen when creating orders using the web UI; only with API-created orders. Is this expected? Anyone have suggestions for how to troubleshoot? Thanks again!
Hello, I can update an inventory item with the code below. I’m not suggesting it’s the best way but it works, the description is updated and saved to the database.public SelectFrom<InventoryItem>.View InventoryItemView;public PXAction<InventoryItem> UpdateItem;[PXButton][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Update Item")]public virtual IEnumerable updateItem(PXAdapter adapter){ List<InventoryItem> l = InventoryItemView.Select().RowCast<InventoryItem>().ToList<InventoryItem>(); InventoryItemView.Current = l.First(); InventoryItemView.Current.Descr = String.Concat(InventoryItemView.Current.Descr, "X"); InventoryItemView.UpdateCurrent(); InventoryItemView.Cache.Persist(PXDBOperation.Update); return adapter.Get();}Using the same method I can update a sales order line.public SelectFrom<SOLine>.View SOLineUpdateView;public PXAction<InventoryItem> UpdateSOLine;[PXButton][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Update SOLine")]public virtual IEnumerable updateSOLine(PXAdapter a
Hello! I am working on a GI to display all line items for bill/adjustment. The goals is to have the parameter and condition set to search by the reference number. Hello Acumatica friends! My name is Renee Schafer. I grew up on a small family owned and operated pig farm in Northeast Nebraska. After receiving a scholarship to Nebraska Wesleyan University, I moved to Lincoln where I started as a sales representative at Data Security, Inc. My plan at the time was to work to pay my way through college and then move on... Twenty-six years later, I am the Chief Operations Officer at Data Security Inc., a very busy, but rewarding role. My current role involves navigating the company through strategic decisions and effective management of all departments while simultaneously working directly with the U.S. National Security Agency, data destruction scientists and electronic media storage experts. I am also a member of the Forbes Business council, the FBI’s InfraGard, FBI Citizen’s Academy, the iSIGMA America’s Advocacy Committee and was the first Certified Secure Destruction Specialist in the state of Nebraska! As you can tell, I am very passionate abo
I have been working with Acumatica at Haun Welding Supply, a 4th generation business in the northeastern United States, for about 7 years now. I have had the pleasure to work with all aspects of the Acumatica product, providing insight on how to get the most out of the software while enhancing the business. Haun selected Acumatica due to the unique business requirements and the ability to adapt Acumatica as our line of business software was not on the market with how we would need to use it. I have been a member of the developer MVP community since 2019, after joining my first Hackathon in Houston.Being a member of the Developer MVP Community (Now branded the Developer All-Stars) has allowed me to be a part of a team to collaborate and share insights where I would not have otherwise been able to due to being on a small team. I enjoy sharing solutions that I have developed with the community, as I have benefited from others sharing as well. That is one of the things that I love about th
when creating a Purchase Order from a Sales Order, if the same item appears multiple times in the Sales Order, it gets consolidated into a single line in the PO with the total quantity. We need to retain the multiple lines in the PO exactly as they appear in the Sales Order rather than consolidating them. Is there a way to configure the system to maintain the original line structure when generating the PO?Looking forward to your guidance on this.
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there’s a way to add a customer field status in report filter without coding customization? As you can see in the screenshot we have status U - WO PendingBut I cannot see it in the additional filtering conditions: Also is there a way to output the Codes too, so that in the filter parameters the user can see both the value and description? Thank you in advance.
