Develop Customizations

Trying to extend the length of the UOM field in Acumatica and not having much success. I’ve done the following(This UOM field references INUnit.ToUnit which was previously customized by another developer to extend the field length.):Add the column length increase DB script: That however did not increase the length in the DB so I increased in manually.But I still got this error on the field I’m trying to customize:   So in addition I tried option two from this article: Extend Address Line length - Acumatica Developers Blogand got this error: 

Hey everyone, I’m coming across an issue where I can’t Add an SO to a newly created shipment (this newly created shipment is also being created by the import scenario). Essentially, our client is going to upload shipment information to Open SOs (defined by the scenario). I’ve uploaded the XML for your reference.I’ve already tried to map the ADDSO and ADDORDER actions but I can’t figure out how to Add & Close or even simply just adding the SO. I’m thinking this is more complicated than I had initially thought. Please advise! 

I have a GI that queries a custom SQL View using a custom DAC. This GI has parameters StartDate and EndDate. Both of these parameters are not required and neither have a Default Value.GI ParametersI am then using the StartDate and EndDate to filter the results base on the OrderDate as seen here:GI ConditionsHowever, when I run view the inquiry, every time I try to select a date in one of the date parameters, it automatically gets cleared out to nothing - thus making the GI useless. I’ve tried making the parameter dates Default to @Today, but when the inquiry is run, whenever I try to change the date, it automatically reverts back to the default. 22R2 Build 22.213.0010 TIA, Dave

In Acumatica “Process Invoice and Memos” screen (ID: SO505000), one of the invoices my customer created apparently is causing the system to “hang forever” (their words -- the video they showed me has them trying to cancel it after waiting 2 minutes and 18 seconds...).When they hit cancel, they get a pop up error saying: “Cancellation Token Source Not Set”So, I sort of know what the error message is saying. But this looks like a Process form, and I’ve only extended Graphs. I am guessing it is an Acumatica Standard Processing form… they must have set up the cancellation logic… didn’t they? Do I need to find this whole thing in the source, copy it over, and then make changes, or can I just override a Process Form the same as I do a regular graph, and then just extend it as normal?Any thoughts as to how you debug an invoice that “sometimes” seems to “hang forever?”Any ideas would be appreciated! -Mark

Really I want to update the Stock Items screen default price by an import scenario.Unfortunately, the default price field is not showing in the Price/Cost tab to me for creating an Import scenario.I am using the 22 R2 version. How should I get the default price field to the Import Scenario?

I have two selectors on a form, the first selects a Branch and the second selects a Warehouse within that Branch.I have CommitChanges = true and AutoRefresh=True so when the user invokes the selector the correct set of Warehouses is displayed.However, if the user selects the Branch and then tabs to the Warehouse field and starts to type, the auto-complete values are still using the old Branch value.It’s not a big deal but I would like to know if there is a way to make the auto-complete logic to refresh itself as well so the user can stay on the keyboard.

Hello All, I have a customization that programmatically downloads the attachments to a local folder “C:\Temp”. It works fine on my local environment but when I publish it to the cloud it doesn’t download to the expected path. In fact, it shows the process is completed successfully but I guess it uses the server’s local path instead of the user’s local machine. Any idea how I can fix this?

Hello everybody,I’d like to prevent our users to remove attached files depending on some conditions (for instance, a particular name or comment). To do that, I woud need to disable conditionnaly the “Remove Link” button in the standard “Files” dialog box when a file filling those conditions is selected in the grid of this dialog. Hi Experts,I added a UDF “selected” in the package line as below, so that I can select the packages I want. I also enable this UDF in the code and disable others in the workflow.If I just publish my project, it works well. But if another customization project which extends the shipment screen is published, all the fields in the package can be edited. I’m looking for another way to fix this problem. Do you have any idea? Thanks,Frank

I am working in the Customization Project Editor.  I went in and added on the Customer Screen a new custom field usrDate_Of_Loss.  I think its BAccountExt.usr_Date_Of_Loss.  I added it to the customer. I also added a usrDateOfLoss to the invoice ARRegisterExt.usrDateOfLoss I believe is what it is called. I also added the Default code and the Formula attributes where the custom field is declared in the Customization Project Editor.  I am  adding it to the Attributes section,  I put in bold below:  [PXDBDate][PXUIField(DisplayName="Date Of Loss")][PXDefault(typeof(Search<BAccountExt.usrDate_Of_Loss ,             Where<Customer.CustomerID, Equal<Current<ARInvoice.CustomerID>>>>),             PersistingCheck = PXPersistingCheck.Nothing)][PXFormula(typeof(Default<ARInvoice.CustomerID>))] It is looking up I hope that custom field from Customer to put in the Invoice DateofLoss Field. The error on validation is: \App_RuntimeCode\PX_Objects_AR_ARRegister_extensions

Hello Everyone,I’m busy with some customizations of the Sales Order Workflow. The new flow needs to go from On-Hold to Open and from Open I’ve added an action but this action needs to do 2 checks to either put the sales order on Credit Hold if the Customer’s limit is exceeded or if it is satisfied progress to the new state called Dispatch and then from there create the shipment.So far I’ve got the workflow to work for the customer with the satisfied limit but I can’t get the system to put the Sales Order on credit Hold if the limit is exceeded. Any ideas from someone where I might have gone wrong?

I have created custom field for Bills and Adjustments screen to approve the AP Bill. So then after I set the field to the Approve map as belows. but it didn't work for me.Anyone know what else should I do to work for this. I used acumatica version 22 R1.
