Hello all,I’m stuck at a point where I want to select a cost code and Acumatica should automatically pick the mapped GL A/c code. How to do so?Kindly share your suggestions.

We are using the Acumatica contract-based REST API (25.200.001) to create Stock Items and their Warehouse Details. We need to create two warehouse detail records for a new stock item:Warehouse Replenishment Source Replenishment Warehouse A001 Manufacturing   B004 Transfer A001 Our custom endpoint exposes WarehouseDetails under StockItem. The relevant fields are mapped to the Warehouses detail object, including: WarehouseID → Warehouse Source / ReplenishmentSource → Replenishment Source RepWhs / ReplenishmentWarehouse → Replenishment Warehouse The screen field was verified with Element Inspector as: Data Class: INItemSite Data Field: ReplenishmentSource View Name: itemsiterecords Business Logic: InventoryItemMaint ProblemIf we PUT a single WarehouseDetails record, the Replenishment Source is set correctly. For example, creating only A001 as Manufacturing works:{ "InventoryID": { "value": "TESTITEM" }, "WarehouseDetails": [ { "WarehouseID": { "v

Hi All,I’m hoping to get a certificate an Acumatica Certificate for Field Service Management. How do I navigate through the Acumatica University to get this & Am I going about this the wrong way?

Hi everyone,With Acumatica 26 R1, I’m interested in understanding the current best practices for database performance optimization when developing customizations. For custom solutions that work with large volumes of transactional data, what database optimization techniques are recommended in 26 R1?In particular, I’d like to get the community’s thoughts on:When should we use BQL, Projection DACs, Generic Inquiries, or SQL Views for better performance? Are there any new improvements or recommendations in 26 R1 around query performance? What are the best practices for optimizing complex BQL queries with multiple joins and filters? When is it appropriate to create custom database indexes for a customization? Are there any concerns or limitations around adding custom indexes from an upgrade/maintenance perspective? What are the recommended approaches for processing large volumes of records without impacting the UI or overall system performance? Are there any specific Acumatica tools or techn

Hi,We have created a schedule to run the AP Bill Approval email notification. However, the schedule appears to be failing with the following error:span style="color:red">Approval.OwnerID.EMail</span>It seems the issue is related to the Approval Owner ID Email field.which field I should use to retrieve the approval owner’s email address and achieve the expected result?I also tried using ((EPApproval_ownerID!EMail)), but it resulted in an “Incorrect Email” error. Thanks!

Hi, I am new in Acumatica, My goal is to hide/show customization menu(New screen, GI) or my workspace items without depending on Acumatica Licensing or Features.xml, the cleanest approach is to make the visibility depend on my own configuration/permission, not Acumatica's licensing feature mechanism.

We have a project that is not yet approved, however there are already commitments (Purchase Orders) against it.  We don’t want Purchase Orders to be issued to suppliers before the project is approved.  How do we stop it, is there a setting somewhere?

Hello all,I was curious to know if we can setup the project numbering seq based on the below format:Segment 1: YearSegment 2 - auto numbring sequence. For example: if I have a project to be created in the year 2026 then the ID should be 26-001, 26-002, 26-003 and so on. However when the 2027 year starts then the Project ID should continue as 27-004, 27-005 and so on..Is this possible? Or what could be other suggestions?

In Payments in Application the Withholding Tax Tab seems missing in the modern UI while in the classic it is visible. I also tried to check the screen configuration but still the tab is missing. Is there any work around that is required or it is a system limitation for the modern ui? or is it already fix in later version?please see attached files

AI Assistant uses a blend of models to optimize its answers, and AI Units reflect a blend of input, output, and cache tokens across those models. How do I monitor my AI Unit consumption? You can monitor your AI Unit usage on new AI Unit Consumption (ML900000) screen, as well as the License Monitoring Console screen, under the Constraint History tab, in

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue in Engineering Workbench and Visual BOM. In BOM, the Subassembly Item BOM is set to Revision B.But in Visual BOM and Engineering Workbench, it pulls in BOM Revision A. Is this intended behaviour of these two screens? Revision A is not the default BOM for the subassembly. Thanks for your input.

Hello everyone,We recently received an email from Shopify titled "Action needed: Test apps by Oct 1 for fulfillment updates." It lists our Acumatica ERP Connector (the custom app used by Acumatica's built-in Shopify connector) as possibly needing an update for Shopify's new "ship and pickup in one order" feature.Shopify is asking the app developer to test in their feature preview and then submit a compatibility confirmation form. The form asks us to confirm that:The app does not create, update, or delete merchant delivery (shipping) profiles (market-driven shipping), and The app correctly handles orders with multiple delivery groups and multiple fulfillment orders, such as one item shipped and one item picked up in the same order. We are currently on Acumatica 2025 R1 and plan to upgrade to 2026 R1 later this year.Has anyone else received this notice? I would really appreciate any guidance on:Whether Acumatica has confirmed that the Shopify connector is compatible with these changes, in

This morning, users with Microsoft Edge are having issues when typing into fields, such as the Inventory ID field in the Inventory Summary page, When they start typing, their typed characters immediately disappear, and they cannot complete typing in a part number.  This does not impact our Chrome users. Are there any other customers having this issue?

Acumatica version: 2026 R1, build 26.100.0175.5Issue:When the SO Order Type has "Use Shipped-Not-Invoiced Account" unchecked (no account configured), pressing Update IN interactively (via UI) correctly shows a confirmation dialog:"The shipped-not-invoiced account is not used. On the subsequent invoice, revenue might be posted to a different financial period not matching the COGS period. Update IN?"However, when Update IN is triggered programmatically - either via a custom graph extension calling updateIN.Press(), or via a Business Event/Import Scenario mapped to the Update IN action - there is no way for this confirmation to be answered. The action fails with a generic wrapped exception:"Error: The record cannot be saved."surfacing through PX.BusinessProcess.Event.ManualEventProcessor.TriggerActionEvents -> PXActionCollection.PressSave -> PXWorkflowService.CompleteOperationInternal -> PXGraph.Persist(), with no indication in the exception message or trace that an unanswered co

Using 26R1, I’d like to hide (Revoke) the Vendor tab on the Stock Items screen (IN202500).  Can this be done via role security?  If yes, ideas on the node that would control this tab?  I’ve tried the Stock Items and the Vendor Inventory nodes to no avail.

According to Configuring 1099 Reporting information in Acumatica, the name entered into the Legal Name box on the Vendor Profile should be displayed on the 1099. However, this not appear to be the case - the Legal Name showing here is Cheryl Ogle but the 1099 is still pulling from the Account Name field and adding Ogle Properties.  Please can you advise how we can use the Legal Name field to produce the correct 1099.

Hello all,I would like to understand if we can categorise the subaccounts based on the GL A/c that would be selected at the time of creating a transaction. So if I have a GL A/c = “Fees” and I have a range of subaccounts = “Accounting Fees”, “Legal Fees”, etc. so it should only allow the user to select the subaccounts mapped to Fees GL A/c codes only & not of any other.Kindly share your suggestions.

Hi, I am trying to make API calls with O Auth 2 Authentication but facing some issues, previously I used Authentication based on Cookie. So I followed the steps to create an O Auth 2 connection, create a client id, client secret with O Auth 2 Flow as ‘Resource Owner Password Credentials. The Bearer token is getting generated when I hit this access token URL “/identity/connect/token”. The issue is whenever I make an API call with the generated token I get a 200 response with No data (image attached).  First I got a response something like this :<script>    window.open("/Main","_top");</script>So I passed the Accept and Content-Type in the header and then started getting an empty response. (Note: A bulk import is happening from Acumatica using APIs, so is this because of API usage limits? I am not sure about this)I'm new to this system and wonder if I'm missing something. Thanks

Understanding Alternate ID Resolution in Acumatica: Customer/Vendor Cross-References, SOLine.AlternateID, and INItemXRefAlternate IDs in Acumatica seem straightforward until an implementation has multiple customers, multiple vendors, historical SKUs, customer-specific part numbers, or reporting requirements. At that point, the important question is no longer:“Can Acumatica store a customer or vendor part number?”It can.The more useful question is:“Which alternate ID will Acumatica resolve for this transaction, and where should I retrieve that value later?”That distinction becomes important when troubleshooting Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, reports, imports, integrations, and conversions.Start With the Two Different Places Alternate IDs ExistThere are really two concepts to keep separate: The cross-reference master data associated with the inventory item The Alternate ID captured on a transaction line These are related, but they are not interchangeable. The item-level cross-references

Wondering if anyone else is running into the problem where output format of LLM Prompt response being very inconsistent and display the raw JOSN into the output field. We have been using the LLM action to generate case closure notes for a while now it has been working great until recently when we upgrade to 26r1. I understand that the AI Studio requires JSON output, but from my understanding, once the response reaches to the closure notes tab of the case screen, it should display in regular text in the format we specify in the instruction.Every time when I test the prompt, the preview tab shows exactly how I want to see it. But when I click on the LLM Action button within the case, I would sometimes get the raw json with no additional formatting. If I say in the instruction that I don’t want any json or code blocks, Acumatica would throw an error saying system couldn’t parse output as valid JSON. Has anyone else run into this? And if you haven’t, what does your instruction or output f

Hello Team,I hope you are doing well.I would like to raise a concern regarding the performance and stability of the Acumatica sandbox environment. As an Automation QA Engineer, I have been experiencing significant issues that are impacting our automation testing efforts. One of the main challenges is the inconsistent and unstable page load times. The environment's performance varies considerably, which affects the reliability of our automated regression test executions and often causes test failures. In addition, we have noticed that UI element locators are not stable and frequently change or become unreliable. As a result, our automation scripts require continuous updates and daily maintenance to keep the test suite functional. This consumes a significant amount of time and effort that could otherwise be focused on expanding test coverage and improving quality.I would also like to note that these issues have been present in both the previous sandbox environment and the newly upgraded ve

Hello Team,I found the following error with payments.1. I have created a payment via API. The payment is being created successfully.2. Then I use a payment to allocate with invoice or credit memo via API to pay it.3. Send the payment with allocation to the invoice or credit memo to Acumatica via API.Acumatica returns the following error message:Payment update request returns the error message - "exceptionMessage": "An error occurred during processing of the field Reference Nbr.: Reference Nbr. 'AR.......' cannot be found in the system.\nPX.Data.PXOuterException: An error occurred during processing of the field Reference Nbr.: Reference Nbr. 'AR......' cannot be found in the system."When I repeat the same Payment update request after a period of time (in 1,5,10,20 minutes), Acumatica creates a payment successfully.Could you clarify what is the reason of this behavior?

For building an ETL pipeline to warehouse Acumatica data, are there any approaches to detect deleted records besides the traditional primary key comparison method?

Hello,I’m working on a customization that extends a standard Acumatica screen. I’ve added several new fields, and this customization is part of our module. When we deploy the module, we also want to deploy the related help content.I created a new Wiki and successfully added help articles for our custom screens. My question is: How can we deploy an updated help article for a standard Acumatica screen as part of our module?Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.
