Hi:Our Acumatica Hackathon 2025 team 10 aka Funnel Cake plans to create an application that will enable a construction/field service company to create a site and then for each site the required projects.From my observations, construction companies have several projects on a site. For instance, a college campus needs two new buildings: one for the dept of engineering and one for the dept of mathematics. The college campus is a site and there is a project for each building. The construction company wants to see the total actual revenue and the total actual cost of the site. It wants to see the status ( in process, on hold, completed, cancelled). It wants to see the address, contact information, start date, target end date, etc. of the site.This will be an application that will be free on Github. Currently, when we process payments in the Process Payments/Print Check, it defaults to Check Form. We want to print the Remittance as well. Is there a way to change the process to default to Check Form with Remittance?

I want to show the customDAC.description value in the user interface and save the customDAC.parameterNbr value in the DAC.How can I solve this?Any detailed instructions, tips, or code snippets would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to close an order and the following error is generated “The status of the production order cannot be changed because it has related transactions that are not released.”  We have ran all product we needed and returned any material that needed to and we are ready to close this work order.I have referenced other related topics and we have reviewed all transaction related to the work order and all show released and posted. This order does not prevent us from closing the month which further validated all transactions have been released and posted. Any help is appreciated.

Can anyone confirm if there is a limit of the number of returns created in a Shopify Plus order that the 2024R2 connector will let sync back to the same Acumatica order.   Our testing seems to suggest you only get one?

If you have more than two variant attributes, is there a way to create all possible variant combinations at once?From what I can tell, you have to select a value for each of the non-Column/Row Attribute IDs (in the additional attributes table) and create those matrix items, then change one of those additional attribute values and create those matrix items, then change one of those additional attribute values again and create those matrix items, etc. I’m looking for a way to generate every possible variation without having to go through the tedious process of selecting each combination of additional attribute values.

Hi,I have a customer scenario where they are trying to allocate stock through the Manage Sales Allocation screen (SO501010). Is there an option in the system to allocate stock only in the Base/Sales UOM or to prevent the allocation of partial inventory?

I have a use case where we do not want to update the ShipDate and RequestDate fields on the SOLines when the Requested On date in the header is changed.When an order is shipped and lines are placed on Backorder, the SO is changed to status of Backorder and the Requested On date in the header gets changed, and it automatically updates the fields in the Lines.Here is what I have tried.  When the Requested On date in the SO header is updated, I store the original values of the ship and request dates in a dictionary.Then when the SOLine is updated, I am trying to set the dates back to the original dates from the dictionary.However, the SOLine_RowUpdated (and SOLine_RowUpdating) events do not fire.  I think this is because the SOLines are not being updated in the graph, but through some other code, maybe a graph extension?I tried to do an override on public virtual void SOOrder_ShipDate_FieldUpdated(PXCache cache, PXFieldUpdatedEventArgs e) to try to stop it from happening.  But my override

Does the latest version of Acumatica support having separate Charts of Accounts (COA) for different branches or companies within the same tenant? If not, are there plans to introduce this feature in future releases? Additionally, is it currently possible to limit GL Account access to specific branches or companies, and what configurations or best practices would you recommend for this scenario?

I have created a Business Event that fires when the Status of a Purchase Order goes from Pending Approval to Pending Printinng (when it is approved) or Rejected (if rejected by the approver.   i’ve created the GI and have the CreatedbyID and their user name in the GI.   and the BE is firing off every time but i can’t get the email to send to the User that Created the PO.  If i put in my log in in the “To” field it will send me the email every time but i want it to go to the person that created the PO.    Below is the email templete.Below is the Trigger which is working according to the History.Could it be this warning causing the issue?i am the Admin so no sure what the issue is.   Below are the other fields i’m pulling.

Hi, Following an update overnight my dashboard graphs spotted working. I have created/modified reports and have been able to recover most of them. I have an odd issue with the system automatically sizing my doughnut graphs:my Gender Breakdown graph is perfect Home State graph (without a popup legend, as a test) cuts off the names of the states at the top Employment Status graph (with popup legend) also cuts off names at top and sides.Also of note, the size of the doughnut are different.All parameters are the same. How can I fix this?  

hi, I am trying to create a report for bill of lading. I have added 2 parameters one i item 1 and second item 2.Its work fine the only weird thing is that the report is duplicating the table. I have attached the screen shot of table. Please guide me on this thanks 

Is there a way to allow a user to Reopen a Financial Period without giving them access to the Financial Supervisor Role? We want our AP and AR users to have access to reopen financial periods, but do not want them posting to closed periods, which is happening with the Financial Supervisor Role. Thanks all!

Has anyone added more than three columns to Acumatica Modern UI form. It seems we only have som pre-defined templates that we can select from that supports a maximum of three columns as per the Modern UI Development guide. 

I am in the process of building an app to transfer reports between two Acumatica environments in batches using the Service Gate API.  In reviewing the release notes for Acumatica 2024 R2, I see that the Service Gate API has been removed.Is there any documentation or resources that outline the new API that the 2024 R2 Report Designer tool uses to retrieve and save report data?

In Clock Entry, we want the employees to be able to choose which employee they want to see, specifically for the managers. Is there a way we can do this in a Customization Project.Trying to turn Employee ID into a drop down box. 

Can anyone explain to me why this error are starting to show? At first there is no problem with our syncing of company entity to shopify then this year 2025 I’m not really sure exact date this problem start occurring  At least one GraphQL error has occurred. Is there someway to send an “approval” flag if a part gets released without an attribute filled out or a technical drawing attached to it?  I’d like to introduce some systemic control over engineering releases to make sure we are filling out data fields. 

Hey there! Our business repacks seed potatoes and I’m wondering if there is a way for us to use MRP in such a way that allows us to not have to do any calculations outside of Acumatica (example in excel). We buy seed potatoes in bulk and repack into 4 different sizes based on weight. Each of these items have their own stock item.Right now MRP is running and consolidating sales orders so that we can create production orders. This works great as long as well sell exactly how much we have purchased, but if we sell less we will still want to repack the remaining into various sizes (ideally at the same time of repacking for sales orders). Our work around is to export the production orders out of ACU, put it into an excel sheet, change the “Qty To Produce” of the production order using calculations in the excel sheet, and importing those chanes for those production orders.Is there anyway to utilize inventory planning so that all of the remaining bulk is put into an additional production orde

Good afternoon fellow developers,I’d like to get assistance from community with the customization of the SO Shipment.I need to add SOShipLineSplit with partial allocation - identical to what I am doing via LINE DETAILS dialog (see on screenshot) Doing it via below code (with Qty set to 1,500.00) actually creates SOShipLineSplit, but it is always fully allocated, and Qty that I provided gets ignored. I’ll appreciate any recommendations Best regards,Andrey

I have a custom processing screen with two filter fields.The filter for the screen id works.  The filter for the file extension does not.Ignore the first filter field.  I was trying to use a selector to get UploadAllowableFileExtensions, but the value returned includes a “.” in front of the extension.  So I created a DDL with just the last three characters of the extension.  I could not figure a way to trim off the “.” in the value of the selector. When just the screen id is provided, it shows three files for that screen: As soon as I choose PDF from the File Extension2 DDL, the view is refreshed and attempts to apply the file extension filter.  Here is the code for the applyfilters method:protected virtual void ApplyFilters(PXSelectBase<UploadFile> shCmd, RecordsToProcessFilter filter){ if (filter.ScreenID != null) shCmd.WhereAnd<Where<UploadFile.primaryScreenID.IsEqual<RecordsToProcessFilter.screenID.FromCurrent>>>(); if (filter.FileExtension2 !=
