Do you find Windows 11 painfully slower than Windows 10?

I just setup a new laptop and had it provisioned for Windows 10 Pro. Natively, it was setup for Win 11. I had some issues with the new pc unrelated to Acumatica. To try to resolve the issues, I “upgraded” to Win 11. Everything is working fine. I did not have any issues that I’ve seen others with SQL Server (YAY). It is already painful to launch the site as it is, especially since I am a developer and I have to recompile my library frequently. However, it now takes twice as long to launch the Acumatica site. It is so bad now, I’m thinking of undoing the 2 days I spent getting Win 11 configured and getting all my projects, apps etc. migrated. I am actually considering reverting back to Win 10. Win 10 will stop being supported after 2025, so I thought I would bite the bullet and just get it over with.Has anyone else experienced this performance degradation when switching from Win 10 to Win 11?

Does anyone know how to add or modify the tree view on the in reports that are made with report designer? Several reports in 2023 R1 all reports have this function, but I can’t tell where they are coming from in report designer.Thanks

Question on Endpoints - creating Customer Account with G/L accounts defined

Okay so I am working with Celigo to migrate data between legacy ERP systems to Acumatica. One task is to create Customer Records in Acumatica, will work on Vendors next. With Customers though there are two Topclass endpoints I am looking to use: Customer and BusinessAccount. However, 3 required fields on the Customer Record are AR Account, Sales Account, and Cash Discount Account. I am trying to set them via a webservice call but don’t see these fields available under the default Endpoint and under either Customer or BusinessAccount TopClasses. I know we can set them on the Customer Class via the CustomerClass Endpoint but don’t see it under Business Account or Customer. Any information on what these values are so I can set them using ideally the customer Endpoint? Do I need to duplicate the default Endpoint and then extend Customer?

Custom field using [Inventory] attribute but not as a DB field

I want to create a custom field using the [Inventory] attribute so that I get the selector and it is all sorted out for me. I don’t want it to be PXDBInt. SO301000 Action "ShowInvoicesandMemos" side panel seems corrupted in 2022R2

When upgraded last year to 2022R2, we found a new Side Panel in the SO screen show up to view Invoice & Memos of the customer that you are working with in the SO, but it constantly spins and never opens. Tested in our sandbox as well, with no customizations applied, and it doesn’t work there either.If you try to view the Action in Customization Project Editor it won’t even let you open the Properties of the Action--it’s just blank (see screen shot). Is this just a corrupted feature? Anyone else seen this, or more importantly found a resolution?

Is there any way to stop Acumatica from sending the vendor to Shopify?

Since we integrated Shopify and Acumatica we have been having an issue with the vendor name not going up to Shopify for all products. It works with the stock items but does not send anything up for template items (just sends our company up for template items).We are upgrading to 23.1 and hoping that may fix the issue but in using the two for the past few months, I have come to realize that some of the vendor information in the ERP will never be accurate if passed to Shopify. Different company name on the books in the ERP than the brand name on the product.So it would be best if that would be something I can just manually enter into Shopify instead of letting Acumatica send it at all. Does anyone know if this is possible? I guess I am asking to unmap the vendor.

Import scenario fails because of the limit on BOM ID number

Hi All, the BOM segment Key has been expanded to 30 character but looks like BOM seq number is still limited 15 character. we cannot use auto numbering and manual BOM ID should be in place as we are integrating with another system. how can I get over this limitation ? in my import scenario because it cut off the BOM ID it thinks it is looping. I need to use the full capacity of 30 char… any idea suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks Ghazal

What is a good workflow for Purchase Orders with "estimated" costs?

Does anybody have any input on a workflow for creating purchase orders with “estimated” costs? Example - vendor estimates cost for services will be $1,500, PO written for $1,500. Cost may come in higher or lower. *this is assuming no Subcontracts/Projects. Here are some of my thoughts… "PO with estimated costs" - option 1create normal PO at $1,500 (no accounting transaction) create PO receipt for $2,000 (also created AP bill) PO closed Accounting on receipt: debit COGS $2,000 credit Inv. Purchase Accrual $2,000 Accounting on AP Bill: debit Inv. Purchase Accrual $2,000 credit Accts. Payable $2,000 In option 1 - PO can still go through approval, receipt approval = n/a, AP Bill approval if needed (won't be able to create approval where AP cost > PO cost)"PO with estimated costs" - option 2create normal PO at $1,500 (no accounting transaction) PO approval if needed Place back on Hold - adjust cost *will have to run through approval again

Hi! We are currently migrating form Sage 300 CRE to Acumatica. We are wondering how can we best translate to Acumatica our Sage 300 CRE Account definition. In Sage 300 CRE, we use a suffix for example: 31000.001 The first 5 digits (31000) - Account The last 3 digits (001) - is our suffix (department, company, project, etc)

Capture Shop for Rates Rates?

Hi everyone, Is there a way to capture all the rates given when you click “Shop for Rates” on the Shipping screen? I would like a way to show what our freight cost is, but also how much we save by choosing one carrier over the other for each shipment. If we shop for rates and click the lowest one, do the other rates just go away or are they stored somewhere? Thanks!

Data Capture from third party software during production run

Hey all!Hope someone has implemented a similar solution to a problem I am struggling with. We are still in the implementation phase of Acumatica at this facility, and at this time my ‘decision makers’ are insisting we use kits rather than a production run due to the way our BOMS are set up. Parallel to this upgrade, we are implementing a new scale system in one phase of our manufacturing facility. We need to capture 4 fields, the tare weight, the net weight, the gross weight, and the sequential “box number” of that run. This is a proof of concept for creating end to end transparency and visibility for QC in our tobacco products as they are assembled between 3 companies on 2 tenants.We’ve discussed adding attributes to the kit assembly and using lot/serial numbers but realized that in both the production and kit assembly these are not created until either the assembly of the kit, or the completion of the production run. Nor are these attributes presented within the webservice endpoin

Update Import and Export Scenario Issue ?

Hi, I have created a import scenario to update Formula . It helps me to insert and as well as update existing Formula or New Formula.I am facing one problem in this scenario as I tries to import a formula where I have multiple materials but I am using this multiple materials on single process step, it is importing only a single material on the same process step on which I have given multiple material and also it is updating the last material value.Eg:- I have 2 process step (101 and 102) and I have given 5 materials on 102 process step. So it skips 4 materials and insert or update last material value in formula.I have used line number and also perform several operation , commit check box, make visible line number on UI and made changes in code but nothing work.Please any one has any suggestion or solution to how I can fix this .I have attached template file for reference.
