Following an upgrade to 25R2 Build 25.201.0213.3 this Known Issue is still occurring. The current Solution indicates updating to 24R1 or new for the fix…. is there a solution for 25R2 that anyone is aware of? This error occurs when a Requisition has an attachment at the line level, preventing the PO from being generated. The workaround requires users to remove attached documents from the document line level prior to creating a PO. This is problematic because File Attachments added to a Requisition at the Document level do not get attached to the related PO.  

I am using the above reference to implement this. On the Projects screen, I have two tabs: BTC and HWP. The HWP tab contains multiple UDF fields that should be visible only when the HWP branch is selected; otherwise, they need to be hidden.  After implementing this, the fields are not showing under any condition. Whether I select the HWP branch, BTC branch, or any other branch, they remain hidden. Could you please guide me if I am approaching this cor

We are currently on 2025R1 and noticed this week that we are unable to add a new record from the Subcontracts primary list. When it was reported by a user, I checked user rights and this individual has full access to that screen.  I as an admin also am no longer able to see the ‘+’ sign to add a new record form the SC3010PL screen.   As a workaround we are able to add a new record by opening an existing record and clicking the ‘+’ from there, or from the Commitments screen of a project. Our production instance is: Build 25.101.0153.9 + Our Sandbox, which is build Build 25.101.0153.2 +, has the ‘+’ on the pl list.  I even made a copy of the Subcontracts PL in our Sandbox, ex

Hi, we have a subcontract that incurred backcharges for scope that was bought out by another company that ran the subcontract total amount into the negative. We recently changed our ERP to Acumatica and we are looking to track this backcharge but cannot process the change orders that run the subcontract into the negative.How can I track this negative commitment amount for my project buyout summary?ex. Subcontract A issued for $5,000. Subcontractor A failed to perform work and another Subcontractor B bought their contract for $5,100. We need to process a deductive change order for the buyout amount to accurately track the money owed to us by Subcontractor A for the increased cost of Subcontractor B.

We have a workflow in which once a Subcontract has been fullly Billed, we create an invoice in our system to release the retainage.  There is usually no progress billing on that bill, and we are looking to release all retainage for that contract.It appears that there is a way to release retainage for a single bill at a time, but if I have a scenario like this:Subcontract total value: $10000Bill 1: $5000, with $500 retainageBill 2: $2500, with $250 retainageBill 3: $2500, with $250 retainageOnce that last bill is out, we create a ‘Retainage Release’ of $1000.  Is there any way to do this efficiently in the Acumatica API, other than finding all the Bills against a subcontract and looping through, releasing against each Bill?Or can I somehow release the full $1000 against the Subcontract in a single call?

We’re looking for a way to track which Invoice or Proforma a specific Change Order was billed on in the Project module. Specifically: Is there a field within the change order,  or a report that shows which Proforma or AR Invoice includes a Change Order? If the Change Order was partially billed, is there a way to see the amount invoiced to date and what remains? What’s the best practice for tracking Change Order billing in Acumatica? Any tips, custom reports, or screen references would be much appreciated!

Hello - most of the work we do is cost plus so we need supporting documentation to send with our invoice to our customer to be reimbursed. Our jobs consist of reimbursable items like employee travel that is loaded into the system via cash purchases, billable hours at a rate * quantity, and vendor invoices processed via AP. This leads to quite a few line items that are translated to the monthly billing. When creating a proforma, I thought the system would generate a compilation of files attached to all transactions that are reimbursable on the proforma. It doesn’t seem to do this for the printed version of the proforma or for the substantiated billing that for the proforma. Am I just missing a setting or something to be able to accomplish this? Not sure how the system could generate T&M billings but not have the backup for the T&M billing. Our VAR has of course offered a customization at a hefty price but I expect the system should be able to do this. If anyone else has went

We purchase stock materials directly for our projects. Often the materials come in with freight bills, which we historically have added as a separate line item & recognized as a separate account group to the project. However, we are looking at using landed costs to get the actual cost of an inventory item tied to that item - as sometimes we move that item into Free Stock. The question is, is there a report or clear way to show the landed cost variance just on project inventory? We would like to have a clear way to audit why materials are over budget if it is due to inbound inventory freight.

Is there a way to copy and paste the previous Daily Field Report (DFR)? In our scenario, the foreman is responsible for entering the DFR for all field staff, including labor time and activities. Having to manually re‑enter the same information for all staff every day is time‑consuming.We attempted to use the copy‑and‑paste function for the DFR, but it results in the following error: “Sequence contains more than one matching element.”It would also be helpful if there were an option to upload the DFR instead.Thanks

We are looking for advice on how to handle custom-configured instruments in Acumatica.We purchase assemblies/instruments where the hardware may share the same base inventory ID or vendor part number, but each unit has a project-specific tag or configuration known at the time of purchase. It would be really helpful on the Project Cost Budget & Revenue Budget tabs to also be able to Group by Cost Code & Account Group. When summarizing by Task, the GI very conveniently gives a total row. I’m also putting out there the suggestion to have it total without the summarization, because right now it will not total unless the task box is checked (second Screen shot)

The bill is released, and retainage is tracked correctly under the project. Later, I perform a reclassification on one of the bill lines to another project (using the reclass functionality). The original line was code to wrong project about (10% of total cost) The 90%cost  is under project A, and AP retainage is under project AIssue:The expense is reclassified correctly to the new project. I am reviewing the Project 360 Dashboards and came across a tile that I don’t have access to. I cannot find where to provide or grant access either.  On the Project Status Screen (PM301500) form the Documents to Approve widget is showing as below and states that I do not have enough permission to view this,  (I am an admin account)  If you click into the “Unpaid AP bills” tile it takes you to the Approvals page, where I have access to. And the “Potential Change Orders” tile takes you to the “Change Orders “ screen which I also have access to. I reviewed the Site Map, Class Dashboards, and Dashboards screens, Access Rights by Screen menu and could not find the correct area to update permissions.  Would anyone know where I would go to update the permissions? Has AvidXchange launched end to end Purchase to Pay Integration with Acumatica?

Team - one of our customers wants to limit the characters used for Project Tasks.  This is simple enough.  However, it turns out that the consultant who originally configured this customer somehow (???) added a Task to Project X.  To make matters more unnecessarily inconvenient, they used the maximum characters allowed by the segmented key.  I can neither open this task (on Project Tasks), delete the tasks using a Mass Update, or Update the Task ID (also using a Mass Update).  I’ve also tried renaming the Non-Project Code, but this isn’t helpful either. Is there a way, short of using a customization, that I can access this task to delete it? How in the world was this able to be done in the first place? Thanks in advance!

How is everyone monitoring project inventory costs through their balances/cost budgets? Our issue is that the cost of inventory when ordered will appear on a Committed or Open committed column, but once that project inventory is received (or transferred directly) onto the project, it does not appear in the balances UNTIL those inventory items are issued.We need a way to reflect project inventory balances on the Balances tab, ideally on the Actual + Open Committed amount column.Example below. You will see we ordered $303k worth of inventory. It is all received and sitting on the project inventory. But it is not reflected in the Actual +Open Committed amount and is actually showing as a major variance. Between transfers & PO orders, there is $307k worth of materials sitting on this job that are not being accurately reflected at this WIP state of the project.How is everyone handling project inventory for budgeting/cost tracking? 

Anyone have a working import scenario to delete Project Template Tasks?Due to how the template format is in the screen, it seems that it cannot find the Project Template.  I tried a few ways even using the description, but it is unable to find the record. Client uses two segments for their project task record, and it looks like the screen only shows the first segment and this might be part of the problem.When you pass the template ID with two segments it says it doesnt exist.I can use the GI but as there is about 2800 records this takes some time.

Are you using Project Budget Forecasting (PM209600) or Cost Projections (PM305000)? If yes, are you getting the desired results? Do you wish you could do more?  If no, why not? Do you need additional functionality for your specific workflows? Could you use a short training session to get you started?
