Hello Gang;Is there a way to add multi line Tooltip to Acumatica Grid Headings. I know I can go to Grid > Header > Tooltip and add a hint but it displays in one line. How Can I break the hint into multiple lines? I have a grid with too many columns which most of them are calculated and have some complex formulas. I want  to show the user how each formulated column is calculated. When everything is in one line it is hard to read and underestand. Any help is appreciated either through grid property settings or C# code that I can incorporate to my code and pass it to the grid header.

I need to customize the Pick, pack and ship screen with a custom action that uses a different criteria to select the next list. This also requires me to add custom fields to the header form in the screen.I have looked at the source but find it is very different from other graphs, with a lot of inherited classes, generic graphs, references to implementations and common methods.I have tried to extend the header DAC but end up with compilation errors that reference different classes than the ones listed while examining the screen. Which is the correct DAC to extend for the header? Are the Graph and DACs customizable? Is there a sample reference or recommended overloadable methods to create custom actions?

Hi All,I am looking to count the total line in Sales Order Summary. I do not know what would be the formula to have the text box to count 1 to 10 or more. I used Count but it just don’t add and give me random number.   Ultimately I need a formula that simply count number of lines in the report and is not affected but the order itself.Kind regards,Calvin Law

Background: I received a request to adjust the Bills and Adjustment Generic Inquiry Screen to not allow users to view all Bills. However, the users would need to be able to view some bills that are related to a vendor but not others as they are not relate to their projects. Similarly, the users would need to see certain bills that were related to a GL account but not other transactions. For this reason, I determined that row level security was not the best route. I instead adjusted the Bill and Adjustments Generic Inquiry to have an owner parameter with the default value of @me; corresponding generic inquiry conditions were made for this as well. This has assisted with the issue as now, by default, the users can only see bills that they are listed as an owner on.  Problem: I am unable to prevent the users from editing who is listed as the owner through tools-Access Rights by Screen in the Generic Inquiry Parameter. So while the default is the logged in user they could delete the user a

I have 3 different unions with different wage rates dependng on which machine they are operating.  I use the Union Locals Screen to show each Labor Item(piece of equipment) with a wage rate.  These rates go up for next weeks payroll so I need to adjust the rates and effective date.  I can export to excel to change the rates and dates in mass but I do not see a way to import this info back into the union Locals screen.  I do not wish to manually do this for 100+ entries.  Is there a way to import this info back into this screen?

Hello Gang, I was wondering is there any way to add grouping to Acumatica’s Data Entry Grids. Something similar to the below snip I have made from another web application:

Hello Gang, I have some customization on Acumatica Cost Projection screen that reuirs adding a subtotal for each “Project Task” under the related records. I have done the coding but my code instead of each task subtotal, repeats all records total. Also subtotals are added to end of my result as I can not sort them correctly before returning the result. Below is my code. Can someone advise how I can Ishow the correct subtotals by filtering each task related records  sort the return result set? public IEnumerable details() { var selectDetails = new PXSelect<PMCostProjectionLine, Where<PMCostProjectionLine.projectID, Equal<Current<PMCostProjection.projectID>>, And<PMCostProjectionLine.revisionID, Equal<Current<PMCostProjection.revisionID>>, And<Where<Current<UDCTPMCostProjectionFilter.taskID>, IsNull, Or<Current<UDCTPMCostProjectionFilter.taskID>, Equa

I have a customer who wants to be able to put a location on a PO Receipt for nonstock items. They do not want to make these items stock items but they need to know where to go in their warehouse to find these items. For example, hardware is not tracked as an inventory item, it’s an expense. But, they need to be able to tell someone where to go to find it.They do not have set warehouse locations for any of their stock/nonstock items, they put them away in any available space in the warehouse and enter the location on the PO Receipt.I have considered creating a user defined field and adding that to the Detail grid on the PO Receipt, but was wondering if there were any other solutions.Thank you.

What methods are you using to update the data attached to an import scenario data provider?  I have a client that needs to repeat an import scenario to create requisitions.  The data source is an Excel spreadsheet and will change quite often as they start purchasing material for a project.    I also will have multiple users running the import scenario and I am trying to figure out how to avoid them stepping on or replacing each others information.

Hi,I've created a generic inquiry, which pulls record from project transaction record table and based on that GI, I've created a pivot table, which will display month wise project balance for each account group and project. now i want to add another column to display total of current month + last month. how can i achieve this ? So if you look at screenshot, i want another column in pivot table as running total (which will display current month + previous month total). eg 16591.71 + 4190.54=20782.25 in 03-2022 period.

Hello,         Previously, our AP staff pay vendor 1 by 1 by printing checks. Now, the boss(The AP admin) would like to transfer the money (actually pay vendor) on his own in bank online system. But the AP staff should also take the resposiblity to verify the bill qty, price and total.         So the workflow should be like below:1, AP stafff verify bill total and mark them as “verified/paid/closed” and complete the bills payment in Acumatica system.2, AP admin get a list to operate in bank online system. The AP admin actually need to operate nothing in Acumatica system.-----The AP admin prefer less work, but I doubt he might have to do something to mark he really post in bank system in case he actually forget.             I studied, the ACH payment can generate a batch payment list. But, the actually payment in banking may not be ACH. (Like vendor did not accept ACH). The bank can take the things afterwards.      So the key is just to prepare a list, I can write a specific inquiry. But

Encountered this issue while working on the generic inquiry. Anyone can help advise how to resolve this? Thanks!!

I have a new PXAction that I added to the InventoryItemMaint graph.    public class InventoryItemMaintExtension : PXGraphExtension<InventoryItemMaint>    {        public PXAction<PX.Objects.IN.InventoryItem> PrintItemLabel;        [PXButton(CommitChanges = true)]        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Print Label")]        protected virtual void printItemLabel()        {        }    } update screen IN202520 { update container "HeaderView" { add recordAction "PrintItemLabel" { behavior = PrintItemLabel } update layout "FooterLayout" { update layout "Line1" { add recordActionLink "PrintItemLabel" remove recordActionLink "ScanBarcode" } } }}My goal is to add this Print action to the IN202520 mobile application screen, and to remove the current “Scan” action, which is unnecessary both because the device has an attached harward barcode scanner, and we don’t want to use the camera to do scanning anyway. My sit

Can someone please tell me the value of the non-stock item feature. I am new to Acumatica and have seen on our system many non-stock items being set up for equipment such as desks and tables, actually broken down into their features, which are being purchased to set up as part of the set up of a new business. I imagine these are on-off purchases and I am struggling to see the point in creating any part numbers at all...why not just use the nominal (general ledger) code and the description. I kind of get it for labour and purchases you may be making frequently but otherwise I am not sure what the value is?Thanks in advance

Hi, We need to enter the tax rate in the system when creating the tax and show the tax rate on the documents but no need to create entries for the tax amount in the system. I am new to Acumatica. We have one client who only has one entity setup (no branches/multiple companies) In the past there was no need to setup a default payment method and cash account for each vendor (single entity). However, when I try to hit the Pay button I get an error message pops up (See second screenshot). Also when I go to Prepare Payments not everything is showing up. Note: In A/P preferences the item to require approval for payments is not selected. Let me know if something changed recently or is it now a requirement to have the vendor or vendor class have a Payment Method and Cash Account selection. (This is even though there is no* by the field). Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Frances Pantelidakis

Hello,     As we verified, by clicking the “customer statement” button on customer screen, the system always prints the report version with the statement date largest.    However,a user prepared a statement on 2/5/2021 and chosen  12/31/2021 as the statement date, which makes it always the latest one.        Is there a way to delete this statement? If this record exists, the user always get an incorrect version of statement by clicking the “customer statement” on customer screen.

How do we process bank transaction/matching of customer prepayment against sales order?Eg: We enter SO awaiting for payment, customer paid through the bank, and we want to match the payment to SO it relates to.

How to make an assembly in my products, for example an alternator have its exploded view and when clicking on the assembly the product appears ?

A client has two web stores being synced to the same Acumatica tenant. One store, B2B only, will only use customer group pricing (AR Sales Prices by Customer Price Class) with a fallback to Default price and the other will use the Default pricing with occasional specials.  The default price in a Big Commerce store can only be updated from the stock item or template item. The client wishes to update the default price on the B2Cstore using AR Sales Prices because the price may be different from the stock item default price for the B2B customers. Unfortunately the Base Price and Price List entities do not allow Export Mapping.Has anyone had this issue and how do they resolve it?  Is it even possible to customize the sync process?
