Hi,We have just switched to Acumatica from Sage and my first bank rec was a disaster!I have 2 different banks to reconcile in 1 company. I was reconciling Bank A, but I used Bank B closing balance for this current bank reconciliation starting balance. Because it was the first month-end we hade to make some out-of-the-norm adjustments which is why I didn’t really understand or notice what I had done until closing the current period.I want to know how to reverse October 2024 bank rec, so the starting balance on November 2024 bank rec is correct. I hope this makes sense.  Thank you!

A previous discussion identified the Cash Account Balance on the Reconciliation Statement Report as the “Cash Account Balance on bank Statement date”.  I would expect that to tie to the ending balance per the Trial Balance, but it does not.  Do I have an error somewhere, or just a misunderstanding?Thanks 

Can anyone tell me what the formula $AdditionsInPeriod or $DisposalInPeriod in a FA report means? I assume it means the total additions or disposals for the period but I am not familiar with the prefix $.The report I am working on seems fine but the totals do not balance. I am trying to understand the field content so I can correct the totals.Many thanks in advance. 

Hello all,I’m trying to find a way to import multiple corporate cards at once. My company has a lot of employees and each of them have a card that needs to be in the system. I see where you can enter each individual card, but I can’t find a way to mass-import all of these. Any help on this would be appreciated.Thank you.

We are currently exploring options to streamline the process of converting business accounts (BAs) to customers in Acumatica, ensuring efficiency and maintaining control over the conversions. Our client relations team receives calls from customers who wish to place orders over the phone and pay with a credit card. In order to proceed, the client relations team adds these customers as new Business Accounts (BAs). The BAs are then converted to customers to conduct business, but only our accounts receivable team has the ability to convert BAs.Is there a way to create an exception in Acumatica where our customer service team can ONLY convert BAs to a specific customer class, such as "Credit Card Customer," which automatically assigns them credit card terms? This would enable our customer service team to securely utilize Acumatica payments for credit card purchases. Within the Payables section I’d like to be able to produce a report that shows only the Vendor Name and Payment Method.  Is this at all possible?I do not want to see anything else. Such as addresses or GL codes.  

Good morning,I know this has been discussed on other forums in the past and hopefully there is a resolution at this point...however I am just seeing if there is a more sufficient/quicker method to use to get refund checks for AR customers?My company is still fairly new to Acumatica, so bare with me if my step by step process is either confusing or cumbersome. Please advise! :) Right now, I currently do:Verify customer orders are complete and credit is available Extend customer as an AP vendor through AR customer maintenance screen Create a Cash Purchase in AP to reflect check I’ll be cutting (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL Account) Prepare/Print Checks Release Printed Checks Create a Debit Memo/Credit Write off in AR to offset credit available (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL account)

We sometimes have customers with billing issues that should not trigger credit holds. Is there a way to exclude a specific document (invoice) from the credit hold process?I don’t want to extend the credit days past due or make any other change that would affect more transactions than just one specific invoice. Is there functionality to do this?

I have a client that wants to email several reports at month-end.  They have a schedule setup and have added the reports to the schedule.How do you indicate you need the parameters to change each month.  For instance, several have a financial period parameter.  I don’t see in the schedule where you can mark these as “Relative” like you can in other automation schedules.

Hello all,I am looking for ways to reverse the sign for some of the row sets in ARM. For eg: in cash flow statement the AR A/c displays the correct figure but in negative manner. Thats not smooth for the end user whenever they see this negative figure. So how can I reverse it to positive figure? What shall I follow in Row Set or Column set?

Hello all,I am wondering aside from the lengthy guid kind of value that is assigned to ExpenseRefNbr when an Expense Receipt is created though the Bank Feed, does Acumatica keeps any other reference to other tables to differentiate Expense Receipts created manually from those through the Bank Feed?

While importing AR Payments, I am getting an error “Input sring was not in correct format”    

Hi There,I’m trying to release a AP batch payment, but system only allow to export. When I hit export, an error message came up . “CA Error: The batch cannot be exported. An export scenario is not specified for the payment method.” Could you please advice how can I release the payment in Acumatica ? Thank you.  

We have a client that issues approx 6000 checks per month for lease payments.   Most of these checks are for the same dollar amounts (ie. 3000 checks for $ 1000 and 3000 checks for $ 1500).  When the Bank Feed comes in the Bank Feed writes the Check Number to the Tran. Desc field.  Acumatica seems to ignore the Tran. Desc field and suggests matches displaying 3000 checks all for $ 1000.  Acumatica Tech Support told me that it only matches based on Amount and Transaction Date which doesn’t make sense to me since Ref. Nbr. Weight as well as Doc. Payee Weight are part of the Relevance Calculation.  What fields does Acumatica read to match  Ref. Nbr. Weight & Payee Weight ?

Hi all,Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with being able to have one “parent” customer with multiple bill to’s?  We use the locations for having multiple ship to locations but am looking to be able to link multiple Bill To’s to one customer number.

We had a recent upgrade patch done on Acumatica and now we are running into issues with our tax exempted customers being charged sales tax.Has anyone come across this or how would we go about correcting the issue?Our below method was working properly up until two weeks ago.

My purchaser entered a landed cost for a purchase receipt but selected the wrong code and the landed cost is calculating based on quantity instead of cost which drastically effects the unit cost of the goods. An adjustment has already been created in the system and released.Secondary, in order to prevent this from happening in the future, would it be better to ask the personnel not to release landed costs documents and instead have our AP release the landed cost document when creating the AP bill for the purchase receipt?

i keep getting this error and i dont know what im doing wrong

With migration mode off, we imported AP with retainage, then used journal entry to reverse the ledger impacts. However, when trying to release the retainage, it is failing due to the vendor ref. already being used on the bill. We do not want to allow duplicate vendor references, but not seeing how to release otherwise. Ideas?

For a tariff surcharge, if a customer’s own ERP or Accounting systems are unable to read or accept surcharge line items on Invoices from us, what options are there to get that reflected within the customer’s pricing? We were told “just increase my price” to reflect the surcharge.  Yes manually within the sales order the individual items’ pricing can be changed but we’re finding now there’s not just a few of these customers that we would need to do this on, there’s quite a ton who order frequently so we can’t manually do this every time with these customers.    If our surcharge was originally to be 5% of total invoice price, Is there  a way to get a discount mapping if one of these customers is selected, the price class automatically takes the item and then adds 5% of its calculated cost onto itself? Scenario: Customer orders 100 pins at $2/EA (40% off $5 per unit for a total $200) and 30 knobs at $4/EA (50% off $8per unit for Total of $120)Normal Surcharge of 5% of Invoice Total applie

Can GL subaccounts differ by Tenants if the Tenants are eventually consolidated?  Customer operates international businesses and uses detailed subaccounts within US operations. Very detailed six digits with employee numbers and project numbers, and accounts for detailed tax and payroll operations in TX, FL, SC, CA, NY, PA and many other highly regulated states.Maybe 10-15% of the Subaccounts will apply to international functions; can the international tenants redefine the Subaccount segment and consolidate data to a company and tenant level without causing problems?#Consolidation

We are often creating hundreds if not thousands of invoices a day. Our AR invoices are created after a shipment is confirmed. But all of these invoices are being created with a status of “credit hold” is there a way to bypass this step of “Removing Credit Hold” so that I can just release invoices? These sales orders are coming thru with pre-payments so there is never actually a balanced owed.Thanks!
