I am looking to see if anyone else has explored or built a solution for the following idea. When working on enhancements and customizations for altering how we use a certain field or what values we use, I would like to have the ability to find all processes and screens where that field is used.Example use case: we are working on reducing the number of sales order types we use and introducing a new sales order type as part of a process improvement project. I know that we use the sales order type in many processes to determine the type of order and actions needed to be taken. I don’t want to miss any of the GIs or business events dependent on the sales order type - and I would rather catch this before testing every process in the system.My current idea is to create a GI for each process and search all the DAC fields that could reference a table or a field in that process configuration. Running version Build 21.115.0017.I looked at vendor which indicated that I was the last one to make the change via the Audit History… screen menu option.My co-worker logged on and looked at the same vendor and looked at the Audit History and it showed that they made the last change at the same time.Then we looked at the same customer record with the same results. His view of Audit History showed that he made the last change and my view of Audit History showed that I made the last change.Has anyone else seen this?(note that the user timezone has not been set so the difference in the times are due to timezones)

I've just moved to a company and they have also just recently implemented Acumatica. I'd like the ability within Acumatica that when a SKU comes to the end of its life and we no longer want to re-order (or the product is no longer available to re-order from the supplier) that we can set it to only sell stock on hand and not generate backorders we are unable to fufil. I can't see an option to do this within the verison of Acumatica we have.Is it possible to do this & if so what is required? Acumatica Cloud ERP 2023 R2Build 23.213.0015 +

Hello,They would like to give their shippers rights to change the “Sched. Shipment” date on the shipping tab of the sales orders screen.  But that is all.  Everything else is locked. This seems like a big undertaking, and I fear they will get to the end and find some fields are unavailable for locking in the access rights by role screen. Anyone else done anything like this successfully? Setting the upper level Sales Orders screen to view only and setting this specific field as “EDIT” did not work because of the higher level setting of “View Only” on the screen itself.

Hi All -  This is, I think, a simple question that I cannot find the solution to anywhere.I’ve attached a few files to an item that I would like to share with users outside of Acumatica. An example would be, attaching a stock item’s marketing flyer to it and having that link be in every email or invoice/packing slip generated. I’ve gone into the file, File Maintenance > Access Rights and checked “Is Public” and saved the changes, bit when I put the external link into an incognito window it still requires a login. Am I misunderstanding the functionality of the feature or does this simply not work as intended? I should add that I am on a hosted instance by Acumatica. Where I’ve selected Is Public 

We are importing assets from existing software to MYOB Acumatica. Once converted, it recalculate the depreciation and some of the assets still carry the net book value even though the asset has fully depreciated.For example:This cash draw bough in Oct 2018 with the useful life of 5 years (20%).It should be fully deprecated in Oct 2023 (period 4-2024), however in this case this asset still has a net value of $18.98?  

Is it possible to change a unit of measure conversion for a material item after a production order has been made with that item as a material? I am going to assume no but just wanted to check.We have completed and closed 1 production order that used a stock item as a material. The original conversion isFrom Unit: LBSMultiply/Divide: DivideConversion: 5To Unit: EA I want to change the conversion to 45. The production order has been completed and closed.

My company is wanting to add a non-stock item/expense, in our case Lab Testing Cost, to the Bill of Materials for all our items we have tested, so the cost of the testing is applied to each lot of an item.  We plan on then entering a Purchase Order for the Lab Testing expense and then “receiving” it in order to create an AP Bill to attach a payment to.  My problem is Acumatica is asking for an Expense Accrual Account for the Lab Testing Cost, which I don’t think I need because we are entering the Purchase Order instead of an Invoice. Is there a way to not need the Expense Accrual Account?   

Outside of Approval Maps, is there a way to restrict Users to post their own Transactions (without Review from others)?I think Approval Maps is probably the best way to go, but wondering if anybody encountered this before and solved it? Thanks!

Is there anyway we can maintain the supplier warranty for the items we purchase. Items would be tracked using the serial numbering method and need to enter the warranty at the purchase receipt stage And once the supplier warranty period is over needs to get and notification. How can we facilitate this? PS: These item are not equipment or Fixed Asset.

When a customer sends an email for the support portal and when some one(including sender) reply to that email, it creates a new support case rather than looping with the first case.Email account settings are as attached.Has anyone got this issue any found a solution.

I’m trying to Receipt a Purchase Order but Acumatica can’t find it - I suspect it’s because a colleague has created this particular PO with a type of Standard, when we always use Normal? 1) Does that sound correct? 2) How can I fix this whilst maintaining the original PO ID?

The IN Issue was created by Update IN a Shipment. The IN Issue status is On Hold. Can we delete it?

We have a need to be able to assign workgroups to Tasks  (which of course Acumatica supports). We need to be able to send email notifications to all members of the workgroup that have been assigned to the task.Does anyone have any ideas on the strategy using Business Events/Notifications? I have tried with a generic inquiry to create a record in the GI for each member of the group - but the Notification never gets triggered. ThanksBob

Hello, I want to know that How to integrate Acumatica with Dynamics 365. Please help.

We are in the process of upgrading our Acumatica instance but from 2022R2 to 2023R1 and R2 we have issue when trying to create a Sales Order (SO301000). Everything from Order type and customer works, you can type the Inventory ID in the document but when you move to the next part of the line, we get an error. The error ‘Account’ cannot be found in the system. Please verify whether you have proper access rights to the object.I have admin rights. Something we have not seen is the fact that the inventory ID changed to an account nr and it adds the account nr to the warehouse as well. Please see screenshots. The account is in the system. Also, when I click on the magnifying glass on Inventory ID and then select the stock item, enter the qty, I can then save the Sales Order.

We began using project quotes a year ago, and we have since realized that there seems to be no way to cancel a quote.Is there a way to have Project Quotes canceled or automatically expired so we can easily create default views of current and unexpired/uncancled quotes?It’s been suggested to me that this is a feature of the CRM module, which is not something that we have, but also seems an equally strange thing to do. Everywhere else we can open, complete, or even cancel items without the need for an extra module we won’t really get much use out of.

When I hover over a field value on a dashboard, the full value that pops up does not always appear in a visible location. I’m not sure why they move around and do not always appear right next to the mouse cursor of the field that I am hovering over. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix this? Please see attached pictures for example.

Hey Acumatica Community!I’m running into a very perplexing situation - some system screens (Expense Claims, Expense Receipts) are shown in the site map, I have full access rights to them, but they’re not showing up anywhere in the UI. Has anyone run into this before? Hello - We are a hotel company that both owns and manages our assets. One of the assets that we manage has an ownership that is international. Our internal IT stated that they would be more comfortable giving them access to their Acumatica instance if we had 2FA enabled for them. My questions is, is it possible to enable 2FA just for specific users? Thanks!

Hi,I'm trying to add a Business Event to add a SO Line when a Payment Method is CC (Credit Card).I have tried reading all online documentation, including a (to me) substandard video on the Acumatica learning portal itself, and other online video tutorials, but am not getting that info that I need to do this.  I would appreciate if someone could walk through the steps, and give an example.  I feel I am close, but can't get it to add the line.  In history it shows it running, but nothing is ever added.   I am sure I am missing something basic - like missing 1 step somewhere.   I wish the documentation was better.  It is pretty bare bones.I code, and do customization, but have never used the Business Events feature and trying to learn. Appreciate any feedback.I can post what I have done but I was really looking for a guide.  If there is a link that would be great but I have not found any li

I keep getting a 503 Error when I attempt to access the partner portal.

When the client exports a PDF for Purchase Orders and SO Invoices, they do not get the order number in the file. When I do it on my computer, I get the order numbers. How can this be fixed for them?My export: Client’s export:  We are exporting the same way and in the same browsers.
