Hello all!

Some client are reporting that their clients are receiving their AP EFT Remittance as .dat and not .pdf.

Some measures I took were to force it in Acumatica to the following settings :

I also verified the Business Event and it is set to PDF. Is there something I’m missing?

I ran into a similar issue not long ago.  If you’re pulling the Customer or Vendor name into the File name, and they have a “Ltd.” or “Inc.” or whatever, it creates confusion on what kind of extension the file should have.

In my example for the ExportFileName, I had to add Replace([SOOrder.CustomerID_description],'.', '') to remove any periods from the entity name.  That fixed my issue, so possibly worth looking at and trying.

Are PDFs being sent correctly some of the time?

Can you verify that there is only one process sending these reports?

Hello Daryl,

Thank you for replying! We’ve been getting this complaint by many clients. I pulled one client that is affected, and they only have 1 business event active and its the one for EFT Remittance.

Hi @nugan96

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am experiencing the same issue with an email template.

Thanks!
