As a potential customer, I’m evaluating Acumatica as a replacement for an aging ERP system.  We have a home-grown CRM system for one company with an attached mobile app that is used to build quotes and create orders in that system.  It calls a web service in the ERP system to simulate an order to get pricing, shipping costs, and tax rates and a few other indicators relative to the sale.  The order is not a “real” order until released to the ERP system for shipment and some orders never hit the ERP system.  Is it possible to simulate a sales order (or quote) to get back pricing details without creating it, i.e., do this and give me the details but don’t commit? Or do you have to create then delete which seems like it would increase the transaction burden?  I have reviewed the web service endpoints and REST API classes but haven’t found anything that indicates the possibility.  Thanks.

Good day,I have setting questions;  Is there a purchase order setting that will allow the user to select the item(s) they want on the purchase receipt when here are multiple line on the PO.  Right now, when the user creates the purchase receipt  they delete the items not received.  It causes the PO to remain open but if they forget or move forward we can receive items into inventory that have not been received.  I want to user to be able to select the line(s) on the PO first and then only those items will be on the PR.Any suggestions.@Evan G 

Just started using Acumatica 5 months ago and I am the person at my company responsible for getting it sorted out for the other employees...so I’m the pioneer that gets to take the arrows learning how to use the software...so my question is this..I want to know if there is a way to make kits (aka custom assemblies) in Acumatica?For example, Lets say we take 2 -3 stock items and want to bundle them together as one part number for a customer. In this example we would have one custom part number that includes those 2-3 parts, perhaps some labor and then all those items roll up into that custom part number with a custom price.Currently I see how to do it in the software, but it requires us to go to the “stock items” page.. make a part number.. then run over to “Kit Specification” area and build it out… then run over to the “Kit Assembly” area and type in the part number onc

All Data Parses Accurately when scanning using (30) or (37) however UOM “EA” does not populate and causes error in processing transfers. Cross ref in Stock Item Screen with associated UOM States (30) and (37) are effective however do not specify UOM like (3202) LB etc

As a new user to Acumatica I am trying to figure out how the software works and there is one thing that I just can’t figure out. I was wondering if there was a way to run a sales report. Specifically is there a way to see what the sales are by day/month/year?Basically a report that shows the date, and how much was sold that day/month or year? After looking all over the place on the Acumatica software I can’t find it anywhere. If it isn’t possible then I will save a ton of time looking for something that isn’t there. Thank you very much.

Our client has many PO receipts from when they went live where the received quantity does not match the order quantity or billed quantity, but the dollar amounts match.  The client has created returns for these receipts that also have quantities that do not match.  Will Acumatica allow them to create a bill for the receipt and create a debit memo to apply to the bill if the quantities are off?  Is the PO link truly broken so it would work?  They currently do not have a test environment-space issues to test it out.                

We are having an issue with our 3-way match.Issue PO - ok Goods received - ok Invoice received, but cost/quantity does not match PO for some reasonI’ve read that we’re supposed to do a return transaction and then re-receive, but we often can’t do the return transaction, because doing so will throw us negative (and the system kicks an error that won’t let us proceed….we actually have negative inventory enabled).What is the best way to proceed in this case?

Hi team, is there by default, or has anyone had success customizing a ‘first sale date’ on the stock item profile? This would function as the date of the first sales order released which contained that SKU.  The idea being we could use this to report on product lifecycles. For instance, products are tagged as ‘Launch’ if their first sale date is <12months ago. We would then run a scheduled automation monthly to switch SKUs into the next sales phase at 13 months.Thanks!

good day everyoneanyone can help me  what would be  the proper procedure in this scenario: i made a SO, then create shipment for it then invoiced it. the thing is i forgot in SO the column of shipping rule was tick as cancel remainder, it supposed to be back order allow, but i already made shipment and invoiced it already.the status of SO is ‘Completed’, the status of shipment is ‘Completed’ & the status of invoice is ‘Open’ we did not aply payment yet to this transaction because we made mistake from SO in column shipping rule and we are trying to find ways how to revert the transaction from invoice to shipment and the inventory to return to warehouse location and we can correct the SO to use it again.can anyone enlighten us abt this matterLooking forward for your helpThank you

We have a client who is a “construction” company which also does manufacturing.  Since the materials they purchase ulitmately is applied to a project, they are required to pay sales taxes on their raw materials. Ideally, we’d like the PO and AP bill to calculate the sales taxes on the purchased goods (configured for Sales Tax Input), but would like the system to treat the sales tax as a landed cost to increase the value of the inventory.It seems like there are two mutually exclusive paths here:Configure the system to calculate the expected sales taxes on the PO and AP Bill by assigning tax categories to the stock items, tax zones to the vendor locations, and setting up the Sales Tax Rates with an input line. Do not configure the system to calculate the expected sales taxes, but rather enter the vendor’s taxes as a Landed Cost Accrual transaction to adjust the value of the received inventory, then add the LC accrual to the vendor’s invoice.  I

Hi We have 9 warehouses and use average cost.  We want the same stock item to have the same average cost across all warehouses.  Unfortunately, this isn’t working for us, and each warehouse has its own average cost. This makes sales margin reporting a nightmare.  Our auditors are also questioning our inventory costing method.Can Acumatica do the same average cost for an item across all warehouses?  The help manual says “yes”,If the Average valuation method (also known as average moving cost) is assigned to the stock item, the unit cost will be calculated as the average weighted cost of all items at the warehouses—that is, the total costs of all quantities of the inventory items at the warehouses divided by the total quantity.but our support company says “no”. thanks

Can you enter a blanket purchase order for services(consulting) with Acumatica warning when total invoices have reached the total on the blanket PO?

Hi everyone,We're currently using Pacejet integrated with Acumatica and have run into an issue with the shipping terms we've set up. We've configured our shipping terms to add a markup based on the shipment, which should reflect in the freight cost and invoice amount. However, after Pacejet completes the shipment and writes back the data to Acumatica, it seems to override both the freight cost and freight price that we initially set up.While I understand that markups can be configured directly in Pacejet, these appear to be solely based on the shipping cost, with no option to base them on the invoice amount.Has anyone encountered a similar issue or found a workaround for maintaining the shipping terms markup after Pacejet updates the shipment data? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

How do we Override email for Customer statements? When I select Recipients→ Override Recipients, the account default email still appeasrts in the Recipients section. In the image below, we only want the Statement to be sent to the Contact email and not the Billing email. The Billing email will not delete or allow us to overwrite it.   

Hello,  It’s worth asking rather than googling. Does Acumatica Mobile app exposes Shipment Screen ID SO302000 by default or is there a custom package which shows how to do it? We can add shipment screen in Mobile Application in Custom package, but doesn’t Acumatica have these already defined with the structure required for all users to view the shipment screen and to take action? We have several defaults provided but not few other important screens like Shipments, we do have WMS but that doesn’t list shipment screens either.Has anybody done the Shipment screen for view of shipment document, if you can share the container information of showing that wld be awesome. Thanks 

I have been trying to delete existing Sales Prices or change the expiry date with an import scenario.I can expiry them OK if the expiry date is null using the follow scenario: But once the expiry date it is set it appears that the existing records cannot be targeted to either delete or change the expiry date.  Is it possible?There is a post on How to Bulk delete all line items in Sales Prices | Community (acumatica.com), however there may be too many records for this manual method.

We want to make sure we are paying the right amount of money to our vendor . We do not want to overpay or underpay. I would like to know how to achieve three way matching in Acumatica.
