Import Scenario Put Sales Order on Hold multiple detail rows

Hello Everyone,I am stuck again with the import scenario logic. I have a Sales Order import scenario and I want to put the SO on hold at the end of the import. The SO has multiple lines and I can’t seem to figure out where the ‘release from hold’ needs to go in order to allow the First Row of the SO to be added without hitting an error. I have tried to put it a few difference places. I have attached the XML. In the current scenario the error is “the remove hold button is disabled” when trying to add the first row. I have tried to put a hold on the SO and release it, or place the release in different places, and i’m not getting it to work. Any help is appreciated!

Creating Matrix Item from existing Items

Hi,is it possible to take existing item codes and add attributes. E.g. An existing Inventory item = W-01. I want to use the Matrix Items to add combinations of this item. So …. W-01-BLK-2.8; W-01-RED-2.8 etc…Can I do this? I have tried to add the Inventory item as an attribute but had no luck. I don’t want to have to manually enter 200 templates with the Inventory ID. Any help appreciated.Cheers,Laura

Error Confirming Shipment - Packed QTY Doesn't Match

I’m getting the following error when confirming a shipment.However, my items are packedWhile looking into this I found a wierd error on the details tab. It shows packed 2 while I only have one in the actual package and only one on the shipment.

Dear Connections, When I access the Mobile Workspace, I get the message "There is an error in the XML document (5, 4)." At login time, the Mobile App displays the same error message. Please provide advice on this. Thanks Ram

Freight on shipment but not charge

Hi All,Does anyone know how to put a freight charge on a shipment but not invoice the customer for it? They want it to be deducted on projects so that they can track the costs of shipping.For example, if the freight is $100, it would show on the shipment and the invoice but not charge to the invoice. It would deduct from the budget on the project.

sales posted to incorrect branch

We have 2 branches and i had some sales that were recorded on to the wrong branch.. I reclassified them on the sales order but they are not showing up correctly on the sales profitability by salesperson and customer report. What else do i need to do to get them to show up correctly? I looked into the invoice payment as well but i am not able to reclassify those transactions :/ Help please!

Looking to restrict the ability to update standard costs from some users. I’ve restricted access to “Update Standard Costs” screen, but now looking to restrict the “Update Cost” button within the stock item screen. Anyone know where I can find this?

Autofill Issues

Acumatica 2023 R2 autofill / search does not recognized a space.When I enter a customer name it will match the first word but after a space it completely goes blank.Ex. Customer name - Discount StoreDiscount will list all discount but after a space it goes blank.Discount St will go blank too. Thanks,Nelson

I have Access Rights by Role set up. I’m trying to find where to prevent the release of SO Invoices and AR invoices by this role. I have done revoked on every “Release” I can find related to invoices and can’t seem to get it.

Project Specific Inventory

I can’t find a report or inquiry that displays project specific inventory quantity. The only time you get to see the quantity for project specific inventory is when you add a line with an inventory item on the sales order, shipment, transfer or issue form, then the information gets displayed in the footer section of the screen as indicated below.project inventory tracking on the footer of the applicable formsWhat table and field name is used to store project specific inventory quantities that’s reserved in a virtual location.Thanks.

How to check "skip address verificaton" by default with Easypost API

There’s a checkbox on the Shipping tab when processing a SO Shipment that says “skip address verification.” I would like this to be checked by default. Other than custom programming, does anyone know a way to set that?We are using Easypost as the carrier, in case that’s relevant.

Hide button for all users except for one

Hi,A client wants to hide the Release button in the Invoices screen for all users except for themselves. I found the topic linked below that mentioned I can do this via the Access Rights by Role screen, but I was a bit unsure of how to implement it to make sure only one user can see this button. In Acumatica, I know that a user can be assigned to multiple roles. So, in order to hide a button from all other users, would I need to change the permissions for each role except for the Admin role for example? If not, what would you recommend to implement these new access rights? Kind regards,Andrew

Customer credit limit - How does the Requested on Date impact?

How does the Requested On Date on a SO effect the customers credit limit? For example: If a SO is entered with a future Requested On Date, does the amount on the SO go against the credit limit immediately? or after the Requested On Date?Thanks

Recording Landed Cost for 1/2 steps transfers instead of PO Receipts

Hello Comminuty,I have a scenario where I would like to record the LC for the transfers instead of the PO Receipts directly. The scenario is,A PO is created for Project specific Inventory with mentions of Task & Cost codes. Inventory is received in Warehouse 1 - Location 1 Inventory is then transfer to Warehouse 1-Location 2 via single step from Location 1. Inventory is further transferred from Warehouse 1 - Location 2 to Warehouse 2 - Location 1 via single step. (wanted to record via 2 step but creating problems to tracking the project inventories). And at last: Apply Landed Costs – but the methods of allocation does not allow to apply different duty rates to different items within a PO receipt. Also, as the goods have already been transferred from Warehouse 1, there is no quantity available from the PO Receipts. It is being proposed to generate the landed cost document and then amend the info to pick up the correct warehouse and location that the stock currently resides before re

MRP Display repopulates processed line

When we process the Transfer Order using the MRP Display screen, the line falls off immediately, but when we Regen the MRP, it comes back. Why does it come back when there is a Transfer Order in for it? The Transfer Order is from the Sales Order, which creates a Demand type, not a supply type. But shouldn’t that create a new line of demand on the MRP Display? It does not create a new line, it only brings back the same line we just selected and created the Transfer Order from. Is there a setting to get that line to stay off after transacting against it? Or is there a way to make MRP create a Transfer Order that would look like supply and link it to the Sales Order that it was processed for?

Customer Portal Data Import

Is there functionality on the Customer Portal that allows the Customer to upload sales order lines to the cart, similar to the sales order upload process?This client’s customers will have sales orders with 100plus lines and would like to allow for an import since the customer uses excel to buildout the order on their end.Wondering if anyone has encountered this as well?

Data Matrix used in WMS

Hello everyone.How is Data Matrix with multiple pieces of information in it (i.e product code, lot number, expiry date...) used in WMS?For example, during receive and put away, the scanner will display all the strings of the data matrix on the barcode slot where I get an error. The barcode of the product is set at the product code within the data matrix. I am using a Zebra DS2278 scanner. I understand Acumatica’s WMS supports Data Matrix. Is there anything I am missing?Thanks.

Mark for PO Default

Situation is this:Item has the stock profile replenishment settings to have a source of Purchase to Order.Warehouse setting has no default replenishment classFeatures enabled for Sales Order to Production Order syncThere is no Item Detail Warehouse setup for this item.When I enter a Sales Order, the Mark for PO does not default when selecting that warehouse. But when I change the replenishment class on that warehouse, it will default with that setting, but this does not always work for every parts, therefore this cannot be the answer.When I add the Item Warehouse detail it works too, but this takes quite a bit of maintenance. My question is, why when I enter this item on a Sales Order, and there is no replenishment setting on the warehouse, and no item detail setting for the item, that it does not automatically look at the standard replenishment setting for the stock profile?
