Hi, client has a BOM with multiple operations. During the Move transactions, is there a way to have the last Operation be the default? There is a feature for Control Point, but it seems to force this to be a data collection; however it is not defaulting the last operation? We do not want data collection for each operation.
Hi Community,If I have edited a customization project, but I did not re-publish it back to the server, is there a way to export/ revert back to the original customization project published in a tenant? I made changes I wish to undo that are not in the server because I did not publish it after making changes. When I re-open the current existing project, the changes I don’t want are in the project. Thanks,RJ

Hello all,I have been looking out for scenarios/solutions where I can forward the emails sent to a specific mail id in Acumatica to some another a/c.I checked out the Assignment Map thing but looks like its not what I’m looking for.I tried to create one by putting up a condition where if the Message has the below setup: Where value field = Email Account ID field<Email address field>.And then under the Rule Actions tab I setup the employee assuming that the mail will get forwarded to that particular employee.I am doing this correct?
i am try to create a report, but for some reason i can’t link ARinvoice to Soshipment
Good evening,Curious if there is a good report in Acumatica that would generate an AR report of aged invoices based on sales person...or would that be more of a customization request?
Shelton Waggener is President of American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing, the premier flatworks construction company in Northern California. Now in its 41st year, the firm has grown from a small Slurry Seal company to over 180 employee owners, working across multiple trades including Asphalt, Concrete, Slurry, Seal Coat and Striping to deliver to its many longtime customers. Waggener joined American Asphalt in 2018 to lead a business transformation resulting in a 70% increase in company revenues while moving from an all paper-based model to a digital one focused on collaboration and ensuring information available to every member of the team – on the road, at the job site or from the office. Those changes have also supported the transition to an employee-owned enterprise where each member of the team shares in the companies advancement.Prior to joining American Asphalt, Waggener served several decades in leadership positions across multiple industries, including as Senior Vice Presi
My journey with ERP systems kicked off early when I was tinkering with my dad's customizations on the MAS 500 platform. My dad emigrated from South Africa to the Bay Area and got into ERP systems early in his career, and watching him work with these systems really sparked my interest. After a stint as a project manager in an aerospace tooling firm, I eventually circled back to my true passion: software. A project for a soon-to-be Acumatica user in the Bay Area blew me away with the platform’s flexibility and power, and I've been hooked ever since.I've been working on Acumatica since 2018 and have been flying solo as an independent developer, crafting integrations for a range of industries—from genetic testing to insurance services. Nowadays, I run a small dev firm called Contou Consulting, but I still get plenty of hands-on development opportunities.Being an MVP really aligns with my approach as an independent developer. I love helping folks who are just a few steps behind me by sharin
I work for Gilcrest Manufacturing, a global leader in cleanroom panel manufacturing. I joined as an apprentice in October of 2022, with no knowledge of IT or business systems, the implementation of Acumatica was in the works, but we eventually went live in April of 2023. We had a fair few teething issues and with the combination of our VAR and internal team we overcame them and are seeing the benefits of implementing Acumatica.First, I was only a departmental superuser for the Contracts team, in which my base role is, delivering training on the system as well as performing my duties as a contracts coordinator which included managing contracts for various pharmaceutical clients, and drawing cleanrooms using our panels in AutoCAD. My involvement with Acumatica grew rapidly, and by January of 2024, I was the business lead for Acumatica, searching for process improvements and exposing bottlenecks for this purpose. In March of 2024, I started a Business Analysis apprenticeship to aid my ski

We are currently looking at Avalara, Sure Tax and Vertex. Do you recommend one over another and why?
Does anyone know how to add the following fields as columns to the Approvals Screen (EP503010)Project ID Vendor Doc ID A proper link to the AP attachement or if there is a way to include the AP invoice PDF as a side panelRight now the only way to get this information is to click into the approval to see the bills and adjustments entry, when you need to click into B&A for each invocie is rather time consuming. I tried to go into the Screen Customization Editor, however it doesn’t seem like the fields am looking for is inherently part of the EPApprovals DAC. As I am VERY new to the screen customizer I did not try to add the custom field, since i don’t know how to link it to the necessary DAC table. Thanks in Advance!
I’m curious to learn how other clients are using the system to communicate the freight amount to the Receiving department. Here is the use case:The Purchasing team creates a PO and sends to the vendor. The goods on the PO will ship via Collect with one of our own freight carriers, so the supply vendor will not invoice us the freight. The purchasing team knows the amount of freight for this order. We’re trying to figure out how to communicate the freight amount within the system so that when our Receiving department receives the order, they know how much to process the Landed Cost transaction for. Currently, we’re listing a non-stock FREIGHT item on the PO so that it transfers to the Receipt document. However, this causes issues to the Accounting team because it creates a receipt accrual for the non-stock FREIGHT item for a vendor that will not be billing us the freight. Thanks for any feedback you can provide!Shawn
Hello, Occasionally, when adding a new payment to an existing sales order with a PUT to the /Payment endpoint, the request succeeds (HTTP 200) but the response body is nearly empty. Rather than containing a Payment structure with ReferneceNbr and other fields, the server gives us a response body like this: {"id":"912d9149-55a4-4b1c-8575-73ebbfc2027c","rowNumber":1,"note":null,"custom":[]} This is problematic for our use case, because we need to store the payment’s ReferenceNbr, which is missing. Is the expected behavior? It appears to happen rarely, but I haven’t been able to determine the cause. Any recommended way to work around it? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Is it possible to re-use of Blob format in acumatica.(E.g:Data.uploadfilerevision table). If So, How?
We have customers with multiple locations that are all setup as separate accounts. There is a “parent” account that all invoices are sent to. Each location has different contacts and the parent company wants bills with each locations name because they have checks with each location’s name and address. Our problem is how to apply a company wide credit limit so that when it is calculated it considers all the “child” accounts also.Thank you for any insights
HI All, I have a processing form built on the graph below, and so far, I can’t for the life of me get the Processing buttons to show. I’m wondering if this is due to the processing form running on a DAC with the PX Hidden attribute - have never tried this before, or am I missing something else? There is a View Delegate involved which takes data from a MASCCommissionDetail DAC which is persisted to the Database, and summarizes the data into a List of MASCProcessDetail. The form is shown below. This works exactly as required (except that there is no Process/Process All buttons visible)The MASCProcessDetail DAC is marked with the PXHidden attribute: Essentially what I’m trying to do, isSummarise all the data in MASCCommissionDetail into MASCProcessDetail. There is a many to one relationship between MASCCommissionDetail (many) and MASCProcess Detail (one), and when the processing form runs create one record in APInvoice for each MASCProcessDetail record. (I know how to do this part

Hello everyone! My name is James Harris, a Solutions Architect from Salt Lake City, Utah. My journey with Acumatica began in 2018 when our company was searching for a modern ERP solution to replace an outdated system. What started as a mission to find a better platform quickly turned into a deep, ongoing involvement—not just in implementing Acumatica, but in shaping how businesses leverage it for success. With a background in IT, Project Management, and Military Networking Technologies, I spent years optimizing global tech stacks, progressing from Systems Engineer to IT Director. Over time, my experience evolved alongside Acumatica itself. I’ve led full-scale implementations across Manufacturing, Distribution, and Field Services, gaining hands-on expertise as the platform expanded. Prior to Acumatica, I worked extensively with QuickBooks, Dynamics, Sage, and NetSuite, giving me a broad perspective on ERP systems.Today, at my third company running Acumatica, I serve as a Solutions Archit

We are running 2023R2. We setup Inventory Item Access restriction so that certain stock and non-stock items are restricted to certain users (mainly along branch lines). While the users can only see the items they are allowed on the main Inventory Stock/Non-Stock items GI screen, it appears that they see ALL items when they are trying to pick items in Project Quotes (Estimation tab) or Project Cost Budget (and perhaps in other areas). Does any one know if this is a known issues or is there something we are not doing right? Thanks in advance for your help.
I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction; I’m guessing there’s probably even some stuff in the standard help that covers this but I’m striking out.If I run one of the stock AP or AR reports (I’ll use “AP Balance by GL Account” as my example), they all have a date or period parameter. What I’m being asked for is to run these reports as of a specific date, like running the AP Balance as of the previous month end, so that we can then tie to the appropriate GL accounts. The issue with As-Of reporting in every ERP I’ve ever worked with is that, for subledger reports like AR and AP, the transactions are always changing. GL is easy to run “as of”, because you never close or delete a GL transaction (worst case, you create a new transaction in the same period to reverse it). It’s very possible on an AP subledger report that I may come in on February 3 and need to post an bill with a posting date of January 31. I may also, on the same day, pay and close a January 10 bill. I can
Hello!I’m trying to edit a report, but when I clicked on the “Edit report” button instead of downloading, it just sends me to a screen called “report definitions”Can I get some help? Really appreciate your answers, thanks

Looking for tips/help on updating the default Empty Item UOM from HOUR to EA. When we try and change it we get errors but can’t find where it’s pulling the errors from - our templates all have branch/billing rule/allocation rules filled out (as do our projects). And there isn’t anywhere to select defaults for those on the preferences page. here is the error we get: Is this a customization?
