What is Always Current? The Acumatica Always Current is a program for SaaS customers that keeps you on the latest supported version of Acumatica—so you're always secure, supported, and ready for what's next.Instead of big, infrequent upgrades that require significant planning and carry more risk, Always Current delivers continuous innovation through a predictable release rhythm. You focus on running your business; Acumatica handles keeping you current.Note: Always Current is only available for SaaS customers. Private cloud (PCS) customers are not eligible. How It WorksAcumatica releases two major versions each yearMajor Releases (Twice a Year)R1: Late September or early October R2: Late March or early April Major releases include new features, performance improvements, and platform enhancements Always Current upgrades happen approximately 6 months after major version release—this allows the version to stabilize through patches and gives time for a Service Pack to become available. The wait is over. The Application Development T-courses have now been updated for Acumatica ERP 2025 R2. Following the full release of Acumatica ERP 2025 R2 Service Pack 1, the courses were refreshed to align with the finalized product functionality. This ensures that the training content accurately reflects the service pack’s functionality and can be used with confidence. The updated courses include: T190 Quick Start in Customization  T200 Maintenance Forms  T210 Customized Forms and Master-Detail Relationship  T220 Data Entry and Setup Forms  T230 Actions  T240 Processing Forms  T250 Inquiry Forms  T270 Workflow API  T280 Testing Business Logic with the Acumatica Unit Test Framework  T290 Modern UI for Developers These updates help keep Application Development training materials consistent with the product, to better support developers working with Acumatica ERP 2025 R2.

Acumatica announced the deprecation of Authorize.net in April 2024 with support for Authorize.net ending on March 31, 2025. Customers using Authorize.net were directed to switch to an alternative payment provider by the March 31, 2025 deadline to avoid disruptions in their payment processing.  While many customers have already made this switch, Acumatica understands some customers may require additional time. Therefore, we have extended the end of support date to June 30th, 2025. Acumatica does not anticipate any further extensions.  Acumatica strongly recommends customers to switch to Acumatica Payments, prior to June 30, 2025, to avoid risks of disruption with their payment processing. While the integration may work after June 30, 2025 for customers using Acumatica 2024 R2 or earlier, the integration will not be supported and may not function at any time after this date.   If you are still using Authorize.net, it is imperative that you reach out to your partner for assistance in swit

Known Issue:  Update license function stopped working on late evening 09/08/2025. Customers who need to update license or activate new license on any Acumatica version will be affected. When a user clicks Update license on the Activate License form (SM201510) the following error is shown: “The license server returned an error. For detailed information, see the trace.” Root cause:  The issue is now resolved for all affected usersWorkaround: Use Upload License File function instead of entering the license key. Actions needed: If you haven’t used the workaround yet, apply license through the Enter License Key as usual.We apologize for any inconvenience experienced.

As of January 16, 2025, Microsoft has announced the deprecation of their Azure Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL). This change is due to ADAL no longer meeting the requirements for safe authentication and it is no longer being maintained. At Acumatica, we offer a variety of out-of-the-box solutions for Single-Sign-On (SSO). Our support includes Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), Microsoft Entra ID, and providers that support Open ID Connect (such as Google, OneLogin, Okta). Starting February 1, 2025, users of tenants using ADAL for SSO will no longer be able to sign in. We recommend migrating your existing integration of Acumatica ERP from Azure AD Authentication Library (ADAL) to Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Microsoft Azure Active Directory). For those affected by this change, we have provided a detailed KB Article with a step-by-step guide on how to migrate to Microsoft Entra ID.
