Has anyone out there attempted to allow users to view 3D CAD Files (.step) attached to a BOM or Production Order from within their browser?  I assume we would have to use a cloud based file management system that integrates with Acumatica.Only other option I see for Acumatica-initiated viewing is to download the files to the local machine, then use a free 3D CAD viewer software, like eDrawings (Solidworks).Obviously we can use a server directory, but the user would need to search the directory for the part number based on the Inventory ID from the Production Order.

We are raising invoices from projects module or from AR module and want to be able to make the customer order field mandatory. In payables there is a data entry setting to require a supplier reference but doesn’t seem to be any equivalent for a customer reference (PO number). It would also be great if we could also amend the customer reference number for corrections after the invoice has been released without having to reverse and re-raise.Sorry rookie question!

Good da CommunityI am battling with a report I have been working on for ages. It was originally written by someone else but has never wired correctly. I have at last managed to get the columns to have the correct data, but some of the totals are duplicating, i.e. Aquisition Cost, Closing Cost & Depreciation.I suspect that the joins between tabes are the problem. I would appreciate it if one of you experts would check these joins and advise. These are the formulae that are incorrect:Acquisition Cost - by Class - =$BeginningAmount; Total Report - =$TotalBeginningAmountClosing Cost - by Class - =$ClosingCost; Total Report - =$TotalClosingCostDepreciation for the Period detail - =Sum(iif([FAHistoryByPeriod.FinPeriodID] = [FAHistoryByPeriod.LastActivityPeriod], [HistoryLast.PtdDepreciated], 0)) - this formula worked in a previous version before FABookBalance table was added.Any advise you could give regardug the table jjoins would be greatly appreciated.RegardsBarbara

How can I change the status of a sales order to complete when it shows Shipping?

Is there any risks or negative impacts on subledger/GL or other accounts if a Retainage Bill that is still on Hold is deleted? We have over 20 that have been released by accident and would like to delete rather than create any reverse entries

We had a customization made to handle Item requirements in Projects. We transfer the product from our Stock warehouse to the truck our team uses. Then, when relieving the material to the Project, we want it to come off the truck, but instead it defaults to the Stock warehouse. This results in sometimes 50 lines that need to be individually altered, thus our need for a customization. Any recommendations for a better process - ideally, someone who transfers inventory to a different location before it is relieved to a project?

Anyone have any idea why my GI filters changed after upgrading to 26R1?Were there any steps I should have taken before or after the upgrade? What can we do to prevent this from happening in the client’s system? If it does happen, how can we fix it?

We currently maintain separate Tenants within Acumatica for maintaining different testing environments, i.e., Production, UAT, DEV, etc. At this stage when we need to promote changes we have tested to either preferences, settings, other configuration, and customisation through code, we currently manually redo this in the target Tenant, thereby migrating the changes.Unfortunately, this obviously raises the risk of human mistake i.e., missing something, making wrong changes, etc and takes much longer than some other platforms I’ve worked with i.e., Salesforce where we could promote changes either via automated tooling like change-sets or a full CI/ CD pipeline connected to a repo.Does anyone know of a much better method for promoting changes between tenants, because from what I understand migrating via published customisation projects, or via setting only snapshots doesn’t cover all settings, etc.Disclaimer - My primary focus is about MYOB Acumatica - so single cloud environment, with li

Vendor already exists on the items and we are looking to change the vendor to the default (already marked default on a different vendor) using an import scenario. Searched and tried several different options. Was getting the purchasing unit error, added that and then getting a duplication error. Tried a manual scenario and still no luck. Hoping someone has a GI written for this same scenario. Thank you!

Anyone know of way to search for a customer location in a GI.  In a report it’s simple because you can the customer and location in report parameters.  AI generated a completely wrong solution saying use Location.LocationCD but Location is a 2 part key of BAccount and Location ID.  For example, showing all payments for a sales order I can pass the customer and location to the GI but for the GI as a standalone query I cannot look up the location.

Hi everyone,I’m looking for some guidance on handling two different retainage amounts on a single AP invoice in Acumatica. For example, suppose we have:AP invoice: $100,000 Retainage 1: 10% ($10,000)  →default Retainage  GL account 2000-to be released when the project reaches completion Retainage 2: 5% ($5,000) → New Retainage GL account 2100 → to be released 12 months later Net amount paid to the vendor initially: $85,000I would like to track these as two separate retainage liabilities, with each going to a different GL account and having its own release timing. However, I don't see an option in Acumatica to configure two retainage accounts and two separate levels/stages of retainage release on the same AP invoice.Has anyone dealt with this scenario in Acumatica? Is there a standard way to:Record two different retainage amounts on one AP invoice; Post each retainage amount to a different GL account; and Release each retainage independently at different times? If this isn't supported by th

Having issues setting up new users. Once a user is set up, is ACU supposed to send an email to the new user to set up their account?

Hello,So, I have built this GI, and I add attribute to my column. I am trying to group with the attribute, but I can find it in the grouping data. Is there a way around this. This the AttributePARENTROLL.

Our client is using Estimating module and create estimate from Opportunity. The Amount on the opportunity header however is not populated from Estimate, only from items added in tab Details. Example below: only standard item priced at $1000 gets added into Amount. Is this by design and is this correct? How can I see the correct potential sales of my opportunity of the Amount does not include my Estimate?

Hi Everyone,I have 2 tenants for the same instance and they want to merge into one tenant. same inventory items in both tenants, however due to it being separate locations, they use different base UOM’s. Does anyone have thoughts or ideas on how to handle this? My thought is that the one location will have to conform or do UOM conversions.

Hi everyone,I need some advice on a tricky situation: We want to add delivery costs as Landed Cost on a PO Receipt so it goes into our inventory value. But our delivery workers are individual contractors. We manage them using Subcontracts to automatically calculate their Personal Income Tax (PIT). Landed Costs usually link to regular AP Bills, not Subcontracts.Has anyone found a smart workaround (maybe using clearing accounts or special setups) to get delivery costs into inventory while still handling Subcontract PIT taxes?I know this is not a standard feature, but I would love to hear your ideas! Thanks a lot!

I am having an issue with project reporting.  Project WIP shows cost in excess of billings of $4,816 and billings to period of $29,669.  The difference is the cost of labor on the $0 invoices.  There are 3 invoices – one for the total revenue of $35,485, 2 for $0 revenue (costs only).  The total billings should be $34,485. Please advise.  Thanks!

I have a Generic Inquiry that displays shipment information based on the tracking number that is input into a parameter. We have EasyPost integrated into our Acumatica, and we have the Tracking URL as one of the fields in the Generic Inquiry. Is there a way to make the Tracking URL link active in the Generic Inquiry so the user can simply click on the URL and view the tracking information on the EasyPost tracking page? Thank you

Hi,I have a requirement to create PO directly through requsition based on the Business Event. I have used the subscriber as Action and set as follows.I didnt add anything to the field values. However, when there are only one item is there on the requisition the BE got triggered and the PO was created. But when there are multiple lines are there on the Requisition the BE didnt got triggered. What could be the reason. Is there anything I can do for that.

We have a need to apply tax at a line item level from Projects when an invoice is created, and then add that to the invoice total. Is that a base functionality of Acumatica Projects or would that require a customization?I am new to using Projects so I am not sure how line item taxing works with Projects and project billing. If it is a base function of Acumatica Project and you know how that works, could you explain in some detail how that occurs?Thank you,Jeff

Dear ALL,I am currently researching the appropriate hardware for using the Pick, Pack, and Ship functionality in Acumatica for warehouse management (WMS).I would like to ask the Acumatica Community for recommendations regarding the barcode scanning devices that are most suitable for this purpose.Specifically:Which barcode scanning devices or handheld mobile computers does Acumatica recommend for Pick, Pack, and Ship? Are there any specific brands and models that are officially supported, recommended, or commonly used with Acumatica WMS? For a warehouse environment where warehouse workers need to walk around and continuously scan items, locations, shipments, boxes, totes, etc., would you recommend a rugged handheld device with a physical scan trigger/pistol grip rather than a standard smartphone-style mobile device? Are devices from Zebra, Honeywell, or Datalogic commonly used with Acumatica WMS? If so, which models have you successfully used? Does Acumatica have any hardware compatibil

Hi Community,In the Tenant’s screen, there is a button to “Change to Test Tenant”. Is there a way to undo this as now both tenants say the status a Test Tenant, and I need to make one of them a Production tenant. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I noticed a difference in how document amounts are displayed across different screens in Acumatica:  On the Invoices and Memos AR3010PL, both Invoices and Credit Memos display the Amount as a positive number, where the document type determines whether it increases or decreases the balance. However, on the Landed Cost PO3030PL screen, negative values are displayed directly for cost reductions or adjustments. Could someone help clarify why Acumatica designed this differently? Is AR3010PL relying on the DocType to determine the balance impact, while Landed Cost needs negative/signed values to run its allocation logic? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hi TeamIn the Sales Order screen, I have an action button with a refresh Icon and tooltip next to the Cost field in the Classic UI.How can we Convert this to Modern UI?

I’ve got an interesting question. I’d like to know if it is possible to copy a specific email address to Purchase Order Notification template, but depending on the stock item in the order. For example, we buy ingredients from vendors, and one of our customers would like to be included in any Purchase Order Email when the ingredients are for her business.  I cannot add her email to the vendor contact information because we may also buy ingredients from these vendors that are intended to be used for another business and received under a different stock item.   I believe I could easily create an automation to send an email directly to her when an order is placed for her items, however she needs to be in the same email thread so that she will get all of the confirmation emails as well.  And since the Purchase Order Notification is not automated through a business event, (because you may want to verify the order before clicking “Email Purchase Order”) I don’t know any other way to add filte
