Is it possible for the vendor ID number to be auto generated with the first 3 letters of the vendor, a number to differentiate vendors with the same first 3 letters, and then a V at the end upon vendor creation?For example, when I add a vendor for West Side Materials, have the system automatically create the vendor ID WES001V. Then add Wesley’s Supplies Co. and have the system create the ID WES002V.Thank you all for your time!

Hi All, In a dropshipping instance, A sales order had been received for a 1000 quantities and based on that PO order and GRN were prepared. Is there a way to increase the sales order quantity in such a scenario? The scenario can be summarized as follows,Sales Order original qty 1000 (drop ship) PO created PO Received – Qty Received 900 Customer increase the order qty to 1200What is the best way to handle this, without creating a new SO Line or another Sales Order?Thanks
Use Case:Customer calls to buy certain stock/non-stock items A Requisition is entered into Acumatica. This requisition has 5 different inventory items and 2 different vendors Vendor 1 supplies Inventory Items 1 to 3 Vendor 2 supplies Inventory Items 4 to 5 When we email a Request for Proposal, we want Vendor 1 to receive a PDF with 1 to 3 line items and Vendor 2 to receive a PDF with 4 to 5 items The rest of the Bidding process should also know that certain vendors only supply certain items on the requisition The customer should be sent one single Quote (this part works) Once the Quote is approved, we need 1 SO and 2 POs in this use case (this part works)ObservationsI do not see a the Vendor field under Purchase Requisition → Details tab, therefore, there seems to be no way to link certain vendors to certain inventory Items before the Bidding Response process. I could add a condition on the Request for Proposal (RQ611000) report to print lines by Default Vendor configured on each stock
We set up a prepayment terms ID with the settings to require %100 prepayments for an order to be processed. When using integrated credit card processing for payments, such as Authrize.net, we find that the system will recognize transactions that have only been autrhorized (not captured) as paid and apply it towards the order.See the screenshot of such a payment in the sales order. Is there a way to overwrite it and it should recognize it only when it’s captured? Below is a screenshot of the terms set up.
I have a custom screen that has a parent/child standard editing form similar to sales orders in how it looks.Under the child grid or above it, I'd like to put a control that is bound to the same table/field as the child grid.It works to show the initial record's value from the child grid, but as I select different rows in the child grid it doesn't refresh with the proper values. It always shows/edits the first value from the grid. Is there any way to get the control to show the right value from the grid and work like this?I realize I can put in the edit mode for the grid, but for ease of use this one field (multi-line HTML Editor) really needs to just allow the user to click on the row and edit the value easily. Edit: Sorry this somehow posted to distribution. Should have been in Customizations but I can’t figure out how to move it!
Greetings,The new Dropship workflow for the Cancel Order Action in 2021 R1 breaks the link between the Sales Order and Purchase Order lines (previously found in [SOLineSplit.PONbr]). However, it is sometimes helpful in our business analysis to see the entirety of a canceled Dropship order.Any ideas on how to reestablish a link? I’ve tried the new Workflow engine a little, but because the links occur at the line level, I haven’t had much luck.Thanks!
I need to report some data to a supplier via ASCII files. those files have header record, details and end record. How can I achieve this with Data Providers. I tried to load the fields from the file but it only reads the first record which have a different layout than the details record and the end record. Maybe it is better to do this with the Report Designer?Please advise. Jesus.
Hi everyone. It seems we get a decent amount of orders where the ship-to addresses are incomplete. That causes to notify CS. Then CS digs around by either finding a previous order or reaching out to the customer.Then we'll be sure to edit the customer account in acu/bigc. Just slows the process down in general.It's been discovered these only have a street number.We think it has to do with the customer using an autofill feature (browsers unknown), but not selecting the full address choice. Maybe just hitting Enter and moving on quickly. Just a theory.Any thoughts?Thank you.
Hi,I am trying to create an A/P Approval Workflow so it’s based off who entered a PO that is linked to a Project or Owner who created the PO under Purchases. Sometimes this workflow will require a 2 step approval process or a 1 step based on who entered the PO. I can’t get it to work. Here is my configuration. What am I doing wrong. Hi, I’ve found some instances where a user deleted an item of a SO while not canceling the drop-ship PO. This could be very common when dealing with high volume ecommerce shipments. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Workflow should be Cancel PO > Remove Item from SO
