I have created a field in PO Header, it contains certain values, while creating a new document using “Copy” function, how can i restrict copying of that UDF value.
Hello, I learned from others that in previous Acumatica version , the fields can be enabled in “automation steps”. But I am using 2020R2, the steps of shipments are no longer allowed to use. I can only use “workflow and state”. But it does not work out, the fields are still disabled. Does anybody know another way to enable the customized fields and allow updating?
hi, i have a case to check value from Shipment Line to Sales Order Line, my problem is how to looping that proses for every line in transaction view ? Thanks.

Hello Everyone,We have a customization where we are updating Allocation details, user will select Inventory ID and give Lot Serial number to a custom field under Details section (in So line level) and accordingly in Allocation pop-up the Lot/Serial will be associated/updated.From screen level it is working fine but when we are trying it through Sales Order Endpoint API it fails to do so. On debug we identified the difference between flow of event handler execution like below:From Screen Level:SOLine_InventoryID_FieldUpdatingSOLine_InventoryID_FieldUpdatedSOLineSplit_IsAllocated_FieldUpdatedSOLineSplit_RowInsertedSOLineSplit_LotSerialNbr_FieldUpdatedSOLineSplit_IsAllocated_FieldUpdatedPersist()From API:SOLine_InventoryID_FieldUpdatingSOLine_InventoryID_FieldUpdatedPersist()The identification is from Endpoint Order API Call SOLineSplit_IsAllocated_FieldUpdated, SOLineSplit_RowInserted, SOLineSplit_LotSerialNbr_FieldUpdated these events are not executing. The same implementation we have fo
In CustomerMaint.cs the Customer_RowInserted method uses a boolean needUpdate to decide if the cache is going to be updated. I’m curious to know why it doesn’t just call Update regardless. protected virtual void Customer_RowInserted(PXCache cache, PXRowInsertedEventArgs e) { bool needUpdate = false; Customer customer = (Customer)e.Row; if (customer.DefBillAddressID == null) { customer.DefBillAddressID = customer.DefAddressID; needUpdate = true; } if (customer.DefBillContactID == null) { customer.DefBillContactID = customer.DefContactID; needUpdate = true; } if (needUpdate) this.BAccountAccessor.Cache.Update(customer); CustomerClassDefaultInserting(); }
I have a new screen which utilizes a custom DAC class based on a table I imported in to the Acumatica database. When I manually add rows to the SQL table, the data is present in the new screen but the save functionality is not working. I don’t receive any errors but the data is not actually saved to the database for new or existing rows. The delete button does not work either. Because I can view the data properly, but not save, I am lead to believe that this is an issue with some of the DAC attributes but I followed the documentation in the partner learning program (and I got the example to work) but now this project isn’t working. Here is new custom DAC:using System;using PX.Data;namespace MyCustomImport{ [PXCacheName("myTable")] public class myTable: IBqlTable { #region Ord_type [PXDBString(1, IsKey = true, IsFixed = true, IsUnicode = true, InputMask = "")] [PXDefault] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Ord_type")] public virtual string Ord_type { get; set; } public abstr
I’m working on creating an action from the case screen to sales order screen. Action would Create Sales Order. On the sales order, I have a UDF that I would like to pass the case ID into with the navigation parameters. I’m not seeing my UDF in the parameter options. Is there a step needed to have it show there or is passing information to a UDF through the action not possible? Thanks!
Let me know if this is not the correct place to pose this question, but I’m currently following the T210 training materials and was given the task to create a master/detail relationship between 2 DACs. I believe I’ve done this but keep getting met with the error in the topic title and not sure how to proceed forward. My dac properties are defined exactly like they are in the GIT example and not sure where else to look to try and figure this out - #region ServiceID [PXDBInt(IsKey = true)] [PXDBDefault(typeof(RSSVRepairPrice.serviceID))] [PXParent(typeof(SelectFrom<RSSVRepairPrice>. Where<RSSVRepairPrice.deviceID.IsEqual<RSSVLabor.deviceID>. And<RSSVRepairPrice.serviceID.IsEqual<RSSVLabor.serviceID>>>))] public virtual int? ServiceID { get; set; } public abstract class serviceID : PX.Data.BQL.BqlInt.Field<serviceID> { } #endregion Any help would be greatly appreciated
I’m trying to add a customer selector to the Projects screen (PM301000).I added custom field called UsrLocationCustomerId that is of type int. On the Add Data Fields tab of the Screen Editor it says that the Control is Selector but on the screen it shows as a Number Edit. I’m not sure what I did wrong or how to change it. I’m on 2021 R1. Attached is the customization project.
Hello,we are currently investigating our possibilities with a Self-Service Portal for managing new Cases. We already created some Business Events for our Cases, but we are stuck on something. How can we create the following Events:If a Customer creates a new Comment, the Owner of the Case should get a E-MailWhenever the Owner of the Case writes a new Comment, the Ticket Creator should get a E-MailAny ideas? When we do it the way it is described in the Guides we get a notification each time someone writes a new comment, no matter if it was our customer our we added a comment. That isn't the best solution to present to our customers.Would love to get some input.Greetings
I have created a custom form which captures inventory id and supplier, based on those selections, I need to have a PO number selector which shows the relevant PO number. How can I modify this code snippet, because at the moment it shows all PO Numbers. #region PONumber [PXDBString(50, IsUnicode = true, InputMask = "")] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "PO Number")] [PO.RefNbr(typeof(Search2<POOrder.orderNbr, LeftJoinSingleTable<Vendor, On<POOrder.vendorID, Equal<Vendor.bAccountID>, And<Match<Vendor, Current<AccessInfo.userName>>>>>, Where<POOrder.orderType, Equal<Optional<POOrder.orderType>>, And<Vendor.bAccountID, IsNotNull>>, OrderBy<Desc<POOrder.orderNbr>>>), Filterable = true)] public virtual string PONumber { get; set; } public abstract class pONumber : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<pONumber> { } #endregion
I am trying to perform validation on the project for screen EP307000. Under Project Preferences we have defined the non project code as ‘X’.What I want to achieve is to prevent users from saving their time entry when they have not selected their project, and it defaults on ‘X’.I would appreciate any help.
I’m trying to change the default doc type value of “payment” to “Prepayment” in payments and application screen.I have tried to use cache attached method, field defaulting and row selected events to override the default value in the graph, but those are not working to change default value of Doc Type.I have tried below code. Can anyone point me in the right direction to set the doc type value to prepayment. public class ARPaymentEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<ARPaymentEntry> { //1st method #region Using Cached attached [PXMergeAttributes(Method = MergeMethod.Append)] //[PXRemoveBaseAttribute(typeof(ARPaymentType.ListExAttribute))] [PXRemoveBaseAttribute(typeof(ARPaymentType.ListAttribute))] //[PXRemoveBaseAttribute(typeof(ARDocType.ListAttribute))] [PXDefault(ARPaymentType.Prepayment)] [NewARListAttribute] // [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Type", Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible, Enabled = true, TabOrder
Good day,We are trying to retrieve the unit cost, based on the warehouse selected inline on the sales quote screen. How would I go about properly filtering in code to get to the right value, currently I have the following code to retrieve the code based on conditions:We want the process to look as follow:First look at valuation method If it is standard Retrieve the current cost from the item warehouse details screen that links to the chosen warehouse on the sales quote screen If the cost is 0, retrieve from the item screen If it is average Retrieve the average cost from the item warehouse details screen that links to the chosen warehouse on the sales quote screen If the cost is 0, retrieve from the item screen Else Throw exception protected void CROpportunityProducts_SiteID_FieldUpdated(PXCache cache, PXFieldUpdatedEventArgs e) { var row = (CROpportunityProducts)e.Row; InventoryItem temp = new InventoryItem(); temp = PXSelect<I
To start, I am very new to the Acumatica environment.. We have a customer that has a hosted Acumatica setup and needs a custom table (and its data) imported into the system.. So the scenario is that we need a customization project that will Create the table (if doesn’t already exist in database) Create the screen with all of the data fields form the table Have simple CRUD functionalityI am able to use the database script component of the customization project to create the table but I am having a tough time linking the new screen to the table/correct data fields. Then I am having a tough time with the simple CRUD functions in the graph. I am mostly looking for some examples or more thorough documentation on topics like this so I can dive in and learn how to do this the correct way. Thanks in advance for any help

Hello, We have upgraded to 2020 R1 from 2019R1 and client will use the the OData feeds in things like Power BI.we are running into a serious problem where a few things have changed: 1) The OData feed now pulls in every column - even those set to inactive in the results grid2) The Odata feed pulls in extra columns for every join - RefNoteID column and an Attribute, ordernbr_2, OrderType_2 columns3) Also pulling in any masked fields - so for example, if you add "InventoryID" it pulls in both "InventoryID" and "InventoryCD"There may be others, but this is causing some havoc in our reports - anywhere where I had any appended tables especially, but generally, everything looks like a total mess now. Anyone else run into this? Thanks!
I’ve created a new dropdown field for the SOLine “Return Reason” but am unable to edit this field when the Sales Order status is Completed (because the workflow step prevents it). Even after Re-opening the order I’m unable to edit the SOLine that is completed including this field. So I tried adding a new workflow:Modifying the Open and Backorder step (the act of re-opening a Completed order puts it in the Open/Backorder status) by adding the Return Reason: But the field still stays locked: Am I missing something with the workflow editor? Is there a simple parameter I can add to the DAC field?

Good morning, We’re considering extending the field length of the built-in fields for Address Line 1 and Line 2. The existing field length for each is 50 characters, and we are considering extending them to 100 or 150 characters each. I understand that there’s an additional Line 3 field that we can enable as well. We would be following the instructions in this blog post: https://asiablog.acumatica.com/2018/03/extend-address-line-length.htmlWe want to be careful in proceeding since this would be our first experience with customizing a built-in field. Is customizing a built-in field a common practice? Do lots of people do this? Do customizations like this run the risk of failing during upgrades? Are there other risks or pain points associated with customizing a built-in field? All comments and experiences are welcome.Thank you, Dave

Label Customization to Send Custom Report to Device Hub Returning "0 Documents added to Buffer" We are developing a label printing customization and are integrating with Acumatica device hub. The customization is successfully creating jobs in device hub but is not adding any documents to the buffer. I have attached our current customization project which issues print commands from the ‘print label’ button added to the Purchase Receipts screen. It will print to a device hub printer hardcoded during testing to with Printer ID = ‘LABEL-01’. Please see the screenshot below for more information about the error.
I have created two unbound fields on the Create Transfer Orders screen (SO509000). This screen defaults to showing the Purchasing QTY and UOM. The customer wants to also see the “Sales” QTY and UOM on the screen. The screen works as I desired. Below, you can see that 0.02 of a BOX UOM is what the Prepare Replenishment screen calculated when I set it to transfer 5 units. For that item, I set the BOX to be 250 units in a box. So far so good. The unbound fields are created like this: NOTE: even though there is a “Usr” in the field, they are not actually in any table. I could create them without Usr prefix, but it doesn’t really matter here. public class INItemPlanExt : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.IN.INItemPlan> { #region UsrTransferredUOM [PXString(6)] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Transferred UOM")] [PXDBCalced(typeof(INUnit.toUnit), typeof(string))] public virtual string UsrTransferredUOM { get; set; } public abstract class usrTransfe
