Trying to create a no-code customization in 21 R1. I would like to add an action button that uses the create new record functionality from a case to a sales order. I got it to pop up the sales order creation screen, but I would also like it to grab the customer # and case ID to populate into the customer field and a custom case ID field we have on the sales order screen. Is this possible with the no-code customization of adding an action button? The parameters section allows me to pass in the specific order type I’m looking for, but I haven’t gotten it to pass the other fields into the sales order screen. Thanks!
I am overriding the PXSelect in the EPTaskEnq graph. After beating my head on the wall for an hour thinking my overridden select statement was causing an error, I simply copy/pasted the ORIGINAL select statement into my code. this is the definition of the Tasks view on EP404000. [PXFilterable] [PXViewDetailsButton(typeof(CRActivity), OnClosingPopup = PXSpecialButtonType.Refresh)] public PXSelectReadonly2<CRActivity, LeftJoin<EPView, On<EPView.noteID, Equal<CRActivity.noteID>, And<EPView.contactID, Equal<Current<AccessInfo.contactID>>>>, LeftJoin<CRReminder, On<CRReminder.refNoteID, Equal<CRActivity.noteID>>>>, Where<CRActivity.classID, Equal<CRActivityClass.task>, And< Where<CRActivity.workgroupID, IsWorkgroupOrSubgroupOfContact<CurrentValue<AccessInfo.contactID>>,
I’ll preface this by saying I’m just learning to add customizations and have only added very simple ones previously. This seemed simple too but I’ve run into a problem I’m not sure how to solve.I am trying to add two default values in the Bank Deposit Screen (CA305000)I added an event handler for FieldDefaulting on the two fields I want, CashAccountID and in the Add payment dialog the Start Date.I got the following as a base to add the code but when I try to validate it says:\App_RuntimeCode\CADepositEntry.cs(27): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'PaymentFilter' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)\App_RuntimeCode\CADepositEntry.cs(27): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'PaymentFilter' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)If I remove the section for the StartDate it publishes OK but when I click to add a new Bank Deposit it says: Error: An error occurred during processing of the field
Hi Guys,I have a grid ,in that grid not showing all records.Main aim is Increase the grid height dynamically ,whenever adding the new rows. No need Scrolling and Pagination.ex:- I am adding 10 records ,here 5 visible on screen 5 not showing!!
I know that I can do what I want with custom fields but I’m wondering if there’s a way I can do this with a dataview.I’ve added Contract Item to Cases. The Contract Item is one of the contract detail items based on the Case Contract field. No problems there.I want to display some field values from the Contract Detail record and from some attributes associated with the Contract Detail’s recurring item (which is a non-stock item record).I was starting with my graph extension and was going to add a simple data view along the lines of: public PXSelect<ContractDetail ,Where<ContractDetail.contractItemID ,Equal<Current<CRCase.usrContractItemID>> ,And<ContractDetail.contractID ,Equal<Current<CRCase.contractID>> > > > CurrentContractItem; But CRCase doesn’t contain usrContractItemID since that field comes from my DAC extension. Can I create a data view this way in my graph extension? Or do I have to
I am wondering if anyone has had any luck increasing the decimal length higher than 6 (Acumatic's OOB limit)?
hi, hoping someone can help me figure out how to resolve this issue We created a new action button in customer screen, on that button action, we are showing user a popup with input control to enter some value and two button either to Submit the data or to Cancel. The issue is, we are only able to get the value on Submit button action if the user tabs out after entering the value (or clicks out of the input field before clicking on submit. If the user doesn’t hit tab (or click out) then this entered value is not getting passed with the submission. We also have commit changes for the input control. Below is sample code.Any help would be much appreciated. ```<px:PXSmartPanel runat="server" Height="150px" Width="400px" ID="PXSmartPanel" LoadOnDemand="True" AutoRepaint="True" ShowAfterLoad="True" CaptionVisible="True" Caption="Apply Tiara Points" Key="Filter"> <px:PXFormView runat="server" ID="PXFormViewFilter" Width="100%" DataSourceID="ds" DataMember="Filter">
Hi All,I have a form with two fields: 1- dropdown field with values like Opportunity & Service Orders.2- Selector field to show Opportunity or Service Orders Base selector values based on the dropdown value. How can I reuse the existing selectors of base class?. Thanks in Advance,Moulali Shaik.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.I created a custom action on the Service Contract screen that opens up the Service Order screen and auto-fills a number of fields through parameters. I also need to automatically add a number of detail lines (FSSODet) to the order when it opens, so that the service order already has the correct information without the user having to change much.I’ve used a code example from the Customization Guide, but am having a problem. In the service order RowUpdating event, I am trying to add a line to the Details grid, but I am getting the following error: “error CS0103: The name 'FSSODets' does not exist in the current context”I thought Acumatica instantiated the required data views, but I must be missing something.Any input would be appreciated.Thanks.Dan(Code sample below)namespace PX.Objects.FS{ public class ServiceOrderEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<ServiceOrderEntry> { #region Event Handlers protected virtual void _
Hi all I hope you all guys are doing good I am getting null values in default columns in table when I trying to save a record in screen you can find a shot below. I hope your support and presenceThanks in advance.
Hi AllDo you have any idea of below functionality could you please suggest me on this. I hope your support & Presence Thanks in Advance.Here is my Revision button code public PXAction<SSPAgreement> Revision; [PXButton(CommitChanges = true), PXUIField(DisplayName = "Revision", MapEnableRights = PXCacheRights.Select, MapViewRights = PXCacheRights.Select)] public void revision() { // Acuminator disable once PX1050 HardcodedStringInLocalizationMethod [Justification] WebDialogResult result = Agreements.Ask(ActionsMessages.Warning, PXMessages.LocalizeFormatNoPrefix("Are you sure you want to create a new revision?"), MessageButtons.OKCancel, MessageIcon.Information, true); if (result == WebDialogResult.OK) { if (Agreements.Current != null) { SSPAgreement agreementsOldRecord = Agreements.Current; SSPAgreement agreementsNewRecord = new SSPAgreement();
When a user creates a new contact, my customer wants the Owner field to be defaulted to the current user account.I’ve written code to do this, but I am afraid the Acumatica police will come knocking any day now.I’m upgrading someone else’s code and in 2020R1, they simply set the OwnerID field to the current UserID. The OwnerID field is now int, not GUID so the code was broken.First, I am using an obsolete call to PXAccess.GetUserID(). I use that ID in a Fluent BQL statement to get the DefContactID from the BAccount table by joining it to the EPEmployee table where the EPEmployee is the UserID.It isn’t pretty but it works. I am supposed to use ICurrentUserInformationProvider to get the UserID but I don’t know how to implement it. This is the code I am using: protected void Contact_ContactID_FieldDefaulting(PXCache cache, PXFieldDefaultingEventArgs e) { var row = (Contact)e.Row; Contact crcontact = e.Row as Contact; if (row.ContactID ==
Hi Everyone I am facing one problem, After update the data view Records in RowSelected event, in that data view new records affected. But, in grid displaying old values. Can you help me please…?In the bellow am adding my graph functionality. In This Grid Showing only Opportunity Records. Data View:- public SelectFrom<SSPAgreement>.OrderBy<SSPAgreement.active.Desc, SSPAgreement.agreeDate.Asc, SSPAgreement.agreeNbr.Asc>.View Agreements;Event Handler:- protected virtual void CROpportunity_RowSelected(PXCache sender, PXRowSelectedEventArgs e) { CROpportunity row = (CROpportunity)e.Row; if (row == null) return; var sPSetup = AutoNumSetup.Current; Agreements.Cache.AllowSelect = sPSetup.EnableOpp == true; Agreements.View.Cache.Clear(); Agreements.View.Cache.ClearQueryCache(); var AgreementList = PXSelect<SSPAgreement, Where<SSPAgreement.agreeType, In<Required<SSPAgreemen
Hi All,I have created an Autonumbering for my DAC & applied newly created autonumbering sequence to one of my DAC field. I made autonumbering field as PXSelector to select existing record. But, here I am facing some issue: Whenever I select a value from the AutoNumbering Selector field then its value setting back to <NEW> instead of selected value. Code: #region AgreementNumberingID [PXDBString(10, IsUnicode = true, InputMask = "")] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Agreement Numbering ID", Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible)] [PXDefault("DEMO")] [PXSelector(typeof(Numbering.numberingID), DescriptionField = typeof(Numbering.descr))] public virtual string AgreementNumberingID { get; set; } public abstract class agreementNumberingID : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<agreementNumberingID> { } #endregion DAC: TestAgreement ================== #region AgreeNbr [PXDBString(15, IsKey
I have a generic inquiry that pulls a listing of checks. I want to export a file using that GI. However, the bank wants the file to have fixed length fields with NO DELIMITER. The GI exports the fields using the CSV Data Provider. The GI can be used to pad fields for the length with formulas, but I don’t want commas in the record. It is important to note that this file is NOT part of the payment processing. It is a post hoc report that is used to provide to the bank as a “Safe Pay” listing. The bank uses this file to know that they are not to cash any checks unless they have been provided on the Safe Pay file. Sergey provided a really nice example of how to write a custom Data Provider https://asiablog.acumatica.com/2016/09/custom-integration-services-data.htmlHowever, it is using CSV as a delimiter. It seems like every option I can find online involves using a delimiter. One thought I had as a possible solution is to use a SQL view to bring back the data fields in a SINGLE recor
Testing for a 21R2 upgrade. I have a local instance that we develop on and make other changes/fixes. I also have an SaaS sandbox from Acumatica as well. I identified several GI’s and Shared Filters that were broken by some underlying changes between 20R2 and 21R2. I successfully fixed the issues in my local 21R2 instance and added these GIs and Shared Filters to a customization project to move to the sandbox where the users are testing. I publish this customization project to the other sandbox. The GI changes move over but none of the shared filters do. The incorrect filters are still there. I looked at the Project XML and I can see in the customization project the new filter definition is correct and present in the customization - it just isn't installing or overwriting. Any thoughts why this is happening?
I have been writing some customizations, and I have tried adding new columns to database tables in two different ways. The first way involves creating UDFs inside the Customization Project editor. The second involves direct modification of the database table at the SQL Server level. In either case, we seem to be able to create a PXCache extension that can properly reference the field by its name, as long as we are working with the DAC attached to that table. The obvious downside of method #2 is that there is no mechanism to keep track of these database modifications, unless some sort of patch file apparatus is created by the developer to ensure those columns are created when a new instance is installed or possibly upgraded. There is also the possibility of a naming collision if the developer uses a name for the column that Acumatica subsequently creates in a future release (future column collision).I vastly prefer method number 2 due to its simplicity. However, as I am currently using it,
I don’t think there’s an answer to this (it has been open on StackOverflow - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/70882006/passing-parameters-to-graphaction-in-acumatica-from-toolbar-button - for a little while with no luck, and I’ve looked as best I can at the code) but really hoping someone can either help or shut this idea down so I stop thinking it should be possible! What we’re trying to do is create an toolbar button action that accepts parameters that the end user can determine without touching any code. We’ll then use those parameters in a class that is called by the action code.As such, I have a Graph extension that defines a PXAction and PXButton. The C# method for the action accepts parameters and these show up in the action properties UI when “add existing action” is used. Having set up some values for the parameters (have tried data fields from the screen and hard coded values), published the customisation and refreshed everything, when the button on the screen is clic
It’s clear that the Preview function in Acumatica Report Designer does not align with the PDF output produced by Acumatica. You can set a report to produce PDF output by default: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54804369/acumatica-report-design-different-when-printed But is there a way to have Report Designer show the PDF output by default in the preview tab? It would be a lot easier to design for PDF output if we could see what that looks like in the Report Designer.
Hi,We are looking to switch some of our custom fields to be unbound. I have switched the custom fields in our Sales Order extension DAC with no problems. However, following these same steps with our Shipment extension DAC, I have run into some issues. I made the changes to the fields in the DAC, but now the fields are completely missing from the Screen page in the Project Editor.Adding the fields back in through the Project Editor UI will give a “duplicate field” error, or it will add the field and not recognize that it exists in the customization code.Has anyone run into this before? I have included the code changes below if that helps. The code was changed from;[PXDBString(20)][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Sample")]public virtual string UsrSample { get; set; }public abstract class usrSample : IBqlField { }To;[PXString(20)][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Sample", Enabled = false)][PXDBScalar(typeof(Search<test.message, Where<test.docNbr, Equal<SOOrder.orderNbr>, And<test.doc
I want to add the State to the Vendor ID lookup popup window (selector). It is not one of the fields that can be added easily as it is not part of the vendor id attribute. There is a well documented way to do this here, but unfortunately, I cannot find where the actual PXSelect statement is to overriden.I found the VendorAttribute which matches the fields that show in the popup window.I thought maybe this method might be what is used to create the results for the selector but when I put a break on this in debug, it is not being fired. In the customization editor on screen AP301000 Bills and Adjustments, the field attribute is shown as follows. Does anyone know where the actual PXSelect statement is for this lookup field? The code example provided by KishoK in the article mentioned above gives me a boilerplate template on how to do it, I just don’t know where to override the PXSelect that is being used for the popup. Thanks,Joe
Hi AllI’ve created a customization that adds a new action on the service contract screen that will launch the service order screen, create a new service order, and auto-fill a number of fields with data using parameters from the service contract screen (customer, location, date, branch loc., service order type). I would also like to automatically add a number detail lines to the service order, but haven’t been able to find a good way to do this.I’ve tried a business event with an import scenario, but data entry forms don’t seem to allow import scenarios.I thought of creating a template for the detail lines, but not sure if I can execute the “Paste From <template name>” action programmatically. We have a fair number of unique service order types that have their own set of item details that need to be included, and we would prefer to automate these steps to reduce the chance of data entry errors.Any ideas would be much appreciated.Thanks.Dan
I want to add the “Last Vendor Price” that is shown in the Stock Items screen to the data grid on the “Purchase Orders” screen.I believe this will involve creating a custom non-DB related field in the PX.Objects.PO.POLine DAC. Then I would get the value from the POVendorInventory table for the respective vendor in the Purchase Orders screen. I think I would do this in an POOrderEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<POOrderEntry> extension as that is the graph used for the Purchase Orders screen.I would get the value to store in the custom field and trigger it with one of the row events. However, I’m not sure which one to use. Can someone give me advice on which one of these is the most appropriate? Thank you in advance for your help. Also, if you think my plan is bad, I’d welcome any suggestions.Joe Schmucker(Noob)
Hello, good afternoon. I have a tab "summary" that contains fields of type date and I assign the default value (today) as well as in my header but the values do not appear. For confidentiality reasons I cannot show all the fields on the screen in the corresponding fields (DAC) of my header and summary (detail DAC) I used: [PXDefault(typeof(AccessInfo.businessDate))]but only works in the header date field (not in summary tab as you can see in the image above) the screen is a customizationcan you help me please? thanks
We are trying to add a group at the end of the Summary tab on the Projects screen. We create the new group by adding a new group from the controls box. When we add the data field to the group and try to publish it, we get a Validation Error. Is this the correct process to accomplish this?
