Originally from Columbus, MS, I moved to Atlanta, GA in 2002 to start my career in the software industry. Over the past 22 years, I have learned a lot, faced challenges, made great friends, and had many laughs. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is interacting with and learning from our customers. I find it fascinating to see the unique ways in which each customer operates their business and the products they create.In my personal life, I have a 32-year-old daughter, 4 stepdaughters, and one granddaughter. I’m trying to setup an email template to be send by a business event triggered when a SO is set on the Credit Hold status, however for the email recipients I want it to be send to an internal employee but it should be different by each customer and easy to change it at anytime without modifying the email template, can this be accomplished by adding a new mailing to the customer and manipulate the email recipients in the mailing & printing tab of the customer profile? If so, what should be the setup?

Hello, I have a GI that I created to take SO’s to SO Lines so we can see the SO by inventory items. The team wanted to add the opportunity stage status, which has now created duplicate lines. I thought if I grouped by inventory item it would help, but it removed the below order I have been sampling. Anyone have an idea what the easiest solution fix is. I would like to be left with the line(s) with the stage ID and the duplicates can go away. Thanks

Meet Megan Friesen our Acumatica Community Featured Member for July 2024. It’s great to have you as part of the Acumatica Community @meganfriesen37!Here is a little bit about Megan:I grew up and still live in Calgary, AB, Canada and work for Contego Software Solutions as a Business Systems Analyst.  In my role I wear many hats including Sales, Implementation, Training, and Support. I went to school in Calgary and started out with a degree in Business Administration and from there I completed my CGA designation (now CPA).  One of the courses I enjoyed the most during my studies was a course on ERPs and system change management.  But that’s not where my career started.  I started out in the oil and gas services industry, first in accounts payable, then corporate accounting, and finally in project accounting.  After being a part of two system conversions first from SAP to JE Edwards and then from JDE to Oracle I was fully bitten by the ERP bug and made the switch over to Contego in 2019.

Today, I’m a co-team lead on the Systems and Analytical Services Team, at least I think that’s the official title and team name. Before Joining Acumatica, I had some years of experience in MS Dynamics AX as Super User and Functional Consultant.
