⚠️ Update Dec 11, 2023: The OAuth 2.0 and new API changes have been rolled out to Acumatica starting with 2023 R1 Update 13 and 2023 R2 Update 4. Configuration steps for using the new API and OAuth 2.0 will be available in the Acumatica help files soon. In the meantime, follow this link to the UPS Rest Configuration guide. UPS recently published an announcement and how connection is established to their API. Partners or customer may have received the following notification. Acumatica is aware of this. Development work to address this change is being prioritized to address it in second-half of 2023.The changes impact the Acumatica direct UPS integration in 2 ways:New OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Since UPS is not issuing API access keys beginning June 5, 2023, which is how Acumatica performs authentication today, new customers or those in the process of implementation are immediately affected. The current workaround is to use our carrier aggregator integrations such as EasyPost or ShipE

We have seen a recent error when browsing Acumatica with Chrome browser. We have narrowed this down to a browser extension causing the issue. Possibly a McAfee extension. Workarounds: Option 1: Access Acumatica using a different browser.Option 2: Disable\Remove extension.

BackgroundCustomers and Partners who deploy Acumatica on a private cloud can host the Acumatica application server and database using their provider of choice. Customer use Amazon (like Acumatica SaaS), Windows Azure, and partner supplied networks.What is Changing?Acumatica used to create Azure Configuration Packages to assist with deploying Acumatica to Azure Cloud Services (classic). These packages would accompany the releases as seen below. Example of Azure Configuration Package DownloadIn August of 2021 Microsoft announced plans to retire the classic deployment model and replace it. As a result, the Acumatica configuration packages require additional configuration and are no longer the preferred deployment method. Beginning with 2022 R1, Acumatica will no longer create these Azure specific deployment packages. Can I still Deploy on Azure?Yes! Product update: our SmartSheet integration available on GitHub is is now compatible with 2021R2. This update also includes a fix for the issue of retrieving an incomplete list of SmartSheet templates.Follow the GitHub link to access the project: https://github.com/Acumatica/Acumatica-Smartsheet

We have updated the SmartSheet (Option 1) integration to be compatible with Acumatica version 2023 R1 and 2023 R2. Please navigate to the GitHub page to download the relevant packages. This will also be the last upgrade we provide for this free integration. We will not be testing for compatibility moving forward. However, if you need these upgrades with 2024 R1 and later, please contact Skyknack to receive a quote for the update. We have received feedback from SmartSheet integration customers, requesting for capabilities beyond what could be achieved with SmartSheet API or the integration. As a result, we are researching another solution for project planning, visual scheduling, resource allocation, and planning. One that ideally would be a more robust offering to help our users manage their Acumatica projects and resources more visually and intuitively. Now you can easily check your knowledge after you complete a course and receive a certificate for successful completion. Quizzes can be completed by signed-in users only, so to take a quiz, you will need to sign in to the site with the SSO credentials first.If you don’t have an SSO account, you can create it on the fly. Company Statement on Acumatica 2023 R2 Product Launch Acumatica’s commitment to product quality and delivering the features businesses need to transform their organizations is core to who we are. To ensure we adhere to the high standards we have set for ourselves, we are rescheduling the general availability launch of Acumatica 2023 R2 to October 5.The new launch date is consistent with our six-month product release cadence and allows us to deliver more community requested features without compromising quality. Those who have registered for our original September 12 launch event will automatically be registered for the October 5 launch.  We will send guidance on how to update calendars to account for the new date.   We are excited about the impact R2 will have in helping our customers continue to transform their operations and scale their businesses. We can’t wait to share all the details with you in October.
