We have recently upgraded to 2025R2 and with modern UI on our Change Orders require to be released after final approval. With Classic UI it still works as expected where Final Approval results in Status Closed How do I update the modern UI to go straight to Status Closed after final approval instead of Open → Release

Hi, While releasing “Materials” transaction for Non-stock items , no inventory transactions (issue transactions) get recorded however for “Purchase Receipt” there is inventory transaction (receipt) get created. Is it expected behavior or I am missing something ? I have observed that scenario in 25R1. Please help me

Hi, I have a customer that wants to expense depreciation to multiple subaccounts when depreciation is calculated and released.  The only way I know how to do this is by creating an allocation in the financial module to allocate the expenses to the correct subaccounts. Has anyone else know of another way to allocate the expenses to the proper subaccounts, the customer is not on board with the allocation method. Thanks,Coleen

Hi everyone,A few days ago @ray20  asked whether there's a "Dashboard Reference" for the predefined dashboards, similar to the Report ReferenceThere isn't one, so I decided to build it with the help of AI.Acumatica Dashboard Reference (2026 R1): https://beacon.acumatica.com/reader/shared/d1fcb29f-5245-42e0-b4d8-65f1fd7808d1/rootIt covers all 70 predefined dashboards in 2026 R1, grouped by module. Each dashboard page shows its screen ID, what it's for, where it's published, and every widget with the generic inquiry or form behind it.I've checked everything and didn't find any mistakes. If you notice one, send me a PM and I'll fix it. I'll keep it up to date as new versions come out, and I'd be happy to hear any feedback or suggestions.

Hi everyone,I have 3 Generic Inquiries:GI A with a Division column that's a formula, GI B which also has a Division column as a formula.I'd like to create GI C by joining GI A and GI B on Division. However, Acumatica throws an "invalid" error.Any ideas on how to work around this? Thanks.

Hi everyone,We maintain the sales price of a FIFO inventory item as "cost + fixed markup". Today this is done by a Business Event that runs on a daily schedule and sets:Sales Price = current item cost + 5The customer is not happy with this because it is not real time. Here is the scenario we hit yesterday: within the same business day, the older/cheaper cost layer was sold out first, and immediately after that we sold a large quantity that had to be issued from a much more expensive cost layer. Because the price update only runs once a day, we kept selling at the old low price even though the cost we were actually issuing had already jumped — so we lost margin on every unit sold after the layer switch. What we are looking for: a way to recalculate and update the sales price immediately when the current (old) cost layer is fully consumed, instead of waiting for the next scheduled run. Constraints / context:The item is FIFO only — lot/serial control is NOT enabled, so we cannot use lot-s

Hello community! One of our customers has a single-tenant setup with several companies. We need Business Accounts in CRM to behave the way Customers do in Sales Orders — a user should only see the business accounts belonging to their own company/branch."Restrict Visibility To" handles Customers and Vendors and works well. Business Accounts have no equivalent, so everyone sees every account and prospect. The real issue is the Business Account selector on Opportunities (CR304000) and Sales Quotes (CR304500): even where the linked customer is restricted, typing the account ID directly into the field still finds and accepts it.What we plan to build, unless something native already covers it: a "Restrict Visibility To" field on the Business Account, defaulted from the user's current branch, carried through to Customer and Vendor on extension and kept in sync, and applied to both the data view and the selector on Opportunities and Sales Quotes so a direct ID entry can't bypass it.Has anyone r

Hello. Is it possible to create the Active directory user via API or Import scenario. The import doesn't create the user, even though it completes the import. Failing on the API side as well - I can create the native user but not API

Hi,When the system was implemented, existing assets were brought on & brought forward depreciation, it looks like a number of assets are trying to post the depreciation back to origin inception which predates the system. This depreciation all needs to be posted in June 2026, how can I force this into June 2026?

Since the upgrade to 2026R1, if you view the ERP via http (some functionality isn’t available in the app, such as SO copying, etc), the decimal is now missing (used to show up next to the zero) from the numeric keyboard to enter cents into the field.  This makes the web interface difficult for any currency transactions the aren’t whole numbers.  There is a workaround in that you can enter a number into the field and when you leave the field it will add the decimalization to the whole number (.00) (to make 1 into 1.00) and then you can use your finger to go back into it to edit the cents and/or remove the whole number.  Hoping this is fixed in an update!

Hello Acumatica,Hide the rows and columns in the Matrix Item grid when there are no corresponding inventory variants or all matrix cells are empty. If a row or column has no valid Attribute values, I want it to be hidden instead of being displayed with empty cells.Any guidance or sample implementation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am migrating a 25R1 Self Service Portal to 26R1. I have the main site running in 26R1 with my customizations.I installed the portal against my 26R1 database.  I created a new VS project and copied in my code from the 25R1 stuff.  It is all kinds of broken.  The PX.Objects.SP is gone.  I added PX.Objects.Portals.dll into my project and it resolved some of the bad references.Does anyone know what assembly I need for PortalSetup?  I also used SP.Objects.IN.Descriptor.  That is missing too.Is there some reference material as to what I need to do to fix my bad references?  Sorry if it is something I should know about already, but I am not able to find anything.

Customer does not have the Deferred Revenue module.Does anyone know of a way to accomplish the following scenario:Invoice customer for sold item and install is also invoice up front. The install credits a deferred revenue account rather than revenue When the install is complete, via a Field Service invoice, we need to debit the deferred revenue account and credit revenue- therefore recognizing the revenue when the service is comlete.Thank you for any input you can provide.

We added a user defined field "return reason" on SO Invoice, and set it as required for the Credit Memo type, to require users to select a reason for creating the credit memo. There is no problem for manually created credit memos. But when users use the invoice correction function, when releasing the new invoice, the system will automatically create a credit memo to offset the previous incorrect invoice. Since this action runs in the backend, the credit memo cannot be created, which also causes the new correction invoice cannot be released.I have thought of setting a default value for the return reason. But in this case, users will most likely forget to change it to the real value when manually creating credit memos. When we did not set this field as required before, we already found that many users forgot to select it.Is there any good solution for this?

Has anyone built or customized a Paid Time Off (PTO) request workflow in Acumatica? This would be a rather simply process.Employee selects the date(s) they want to request off. Optional note can be added. Request is submitted to a designated approver. Approver can approve or reject the request. Employee receives a notification of the action. Global dashboard to view all requests.A nice-to-have feature would be tighter integration with timecards. Once the employee's weekly timecard is created, any approved PTO dates would automatically populate as PLT / Vacation without the employee having to enter them manually.Has anyone seen something similar to this?

I have this discount code But when I create a sales order with this customer I cannot get the discount to trigger. And I can’t add it manually either. Hopefully I’m just missing something silly :)

I’m working on a requirement in Acumatica ERP where I need to restrict certain basic or master data by company. By default, this data is shared across companies, but in my case, it needs to be company specific. There are multiple instances where this applies, not just the examples below: Salespersons → used in Sales Orders / Invoices Staff → used in Appointments / Service Orders My current approach is to add a Company ID field to each of these master records and then modify filters in the relevant screens using PXRestrictor to only show data for the current company. However, since this logic needs to be implemented in many places, I’m looking for a more centralized or scalable approach to handle this requirement. Is there a recommended way in Acumatica to control or restrict shared data by company without having to manually filter it in every screen?

I’m trying to create a table that can tell users when a part was last cycle counted. I’ve attached the table that I have so far. The quantity is correct, however, some parts are not attaching correctly to their serial numbers, thereby resulting in no data being found for them. Any way to get this table to produce the correct results?

I’ve tried it all guys. Deleting browsing data including cookies, restarting my computer, making sure google chrome is up to date BUT when I press the parent activity of this task: I get a blank/new sales order I used to be able to go to the sales order page and go to the sales order from there but I’m still getting a blank new sales order This is happening in payments and applications as well.

In our 26R2 instance, I need to add the company warranty and company warranty type. My import scenario works for > 99% of my items when I don’t include equipment information. Our equipment that we sell and service typically is finished goods and typically is Model Equipment without components.I am trying to add these 4 columns: I can add Equipment Class and Equipment Type without Company Warranty and Company Warranty Type without error, but when I add the warranty information; I receive this error: Error: 'Component ID' cannot be empty. Error: 'Item Class ID' cannot be empty. We do manufacture this item, but none of the components are warrantied. If the equipment fails in the field, we would typically RMA the part in its entirety (not individual components).I can save this item using Acumatica’s screen, IN202500, without trouble.Copilot told me this….and I tried the suggestions.

Hello everyone, We are evaluating the Zebra RS2100 and Zebra ET40/ET45 for use with Acumatica and would love to hear from anyone currently using either device. How has your experience been with the integration? Have you encountered any challenges with scanning, inventory transactions, performance, connectivity, or device management? Overall, would you recommend these devices for warehouse or manufacturing operations using Acumatica?Any lessons learned, pros/cons, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Since Thursday August 6, we are seeing our Amazon FBM orders not sync into the system consistently. Results are sporadic at best, some come over right away, others come over 6 hours later and this is not sustainable. Anyone know if anything has changed on how Amazon is sending sales orders over for FBM? Most orders I cannot even see in the sync history if there is an error, they just do not populateNo one knows what to do to fix

Update:  We have identified enough customers to work with for our initial build.  Thanks for your interest and if you have follow up questions, please feel free to message me directly! Hello, current Case Management customers,We're exploring a potential new feature for Acumatica CRM that automatically surfaces similar past cases, so support teams can find and locate solutions faster instead of solving the same problem from scratch every time. The goal is less manual digging, quicker resolutions, and more consistent answers across your team.To build this well, we want to test it against real-world data — so we're looking for a few community members with large, established case databases that make use of the Closure Notes functionality who'd be willing to work with us during early development. This would involve reviewing early versions and giving us direct feedback on relevance and usefulness of our findings. If you're interested (or just curious to learn more before committing), reply h

Hi Community,Has anyone ever run into this error before on a Sales Order? It seems like it would be from a dashboard maybe considering the site has no container management on it.Cheers,RJ Kenna
