Thanks for the info… I’ll investigate. My immediate thought is that form would be independent from the invoice…. Suppose would have to ask the customer to enter the invoice number and amount manually?
Thank you for the reply. The standard complements are manufactured items. Will auto create linked disregard those if they are marked for MRP?? I only want the auto create linked to generate the make to order and disregard those marked for mrp. I will test this. thanks again!
Whoops *components* not complements
Ok this is great … will those child orders be linked to the Parent Or the sales order in any way? Will it print on the production itickets?
@kristianharianja Many thanks! Your solution is exactly what we are looking for, you’re a lifesaver thank you! @jeremyd45 thanks as well, I will play around with phantom.
Further to this, seems it gets complicated when there are multiple items on a sales order each with custom and standard sub assemblies. Let’s say 10 line items…. Any suggestions to print a whole package including the 10 parent production tickets AND those linked make-to-order sub assemblies for the entire sales order? Thanks in advance!
Ah that’s really helpful thank you. I will test this out.
Hello and thank you for the reply. There are approx 60 associated with this one order alone. Doing one by one is quite cumbersome.
Thanks we are exploring the possibility of mass deleting and re-creating them.
This is excellent! Thank you for the solution.
Interesting, I added a new line in the PO to draw from blanket and it did impact MRP quantities. During my other tests it didn’t appear to be but likely other production factors were impacting it. Ok problem solved thank you for the help.
@Debbie Baldwin thanks for the reply! Yes the sub-assemblies are MRP items as well. It appears MRP won’t suggest the sub-assembly production orders until demand is created from parent or level above.
Hi thank you all, you were right mrp does take all children into consideration so long as marked for mrp. Thank you!
@Debbie Baldwin Yes I have and my experience is manufacturing is not their area of expertise. Good on accounting side.
@sarah this is very helpful thank you! Is there anyway you can think of to cascade update the child work orders associated with parent work order?
@sarah I think that could work, I will give it a try .. very genius! Thank you
@RoyceLithgo Ah browser refresh extension … great idea! Thanks for the tip and info on hardware!
@Naveen Boga Thanks for the reply! ITs not actually a pivot table. Just a Generic Inquiry underlyging a Data Table Widget.
@Naveen Boga Thanks the problem starts when you add a filter on the widget. CAn you test that?
@Naveen Boga Very strange, I cleared cache and removed and added the sort order and it seems to be working now. THanks for hte help!
@RoyceLithgo Thanks again for the above response. I’m using this browser extension:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/revolver-tabs/dlknooajieciikpedpldejhhijacnbda?hl=en Combined with these mini-pc’s.https://a.co/d/5knwimH So far, I’m really impressed with these little units. I’m not sure if the hardware will go the distance...but its all solid state. They are light and fit nicely behind the screen with some 3M velcro strips. Combined with a wireless keyboard and mouse, works great. For the price, its worth the experiment.
@mganji I am having a similar issue and curious about your solution with the credit terms. Do you recognize the revenue upon the generation of each invoice? Is there a way to have it go to a prepayment account instead? Thank you
