I have a similar situation with split lot codes in a Purchase Receipt line detail. I am printing an inventory Label to apply to each container and if I add multiple containers in the line detail I need to have a label on each container. How do I set this up to print a label for each line in Report Designer?
That worked, my Parent / Child join was wrong. Thank you so much for your quick response. This will now give us an opportunity to split the PO Receipt line when multiple cartons are received. This way I can have an inventory label on each carton with the correct quantity within the carton@mike2665
I posted this as I was leaving on Friday and did not catch the misspelling of Decimal in my topic title. But from my limited spelling ability, a positive learning experience has come from my misspelling. New word of the day for me!!Definition of 'decuple'1. consisting of or including ten. 2. ten times as much or as many; tenfold.
Thank you for all of the views with no comments! The silence forced me to dig deep in answering my own question. The answer is to go to your Parameters tab and enter the number of decimales you require in the Input mask. See photo, and hopes this will assist someone else having this issue.
I have created my subreport but my data form the Reference Number column is not populating when I run the report. Here are my schema settings, can someone take a look to see what I am missing?
Hi @Chris Hackett I was able to solve my issue with the expression - =[POReceiptLineSplit.LotSerialNbr]. On the purchase receipt I select “:Line Details” and enter the multiple containers with different MFG Lot Codes in line entries. My label report prints out the different lot codes and now every container has an inventory label for put away.
After a few attempts I was able to fix my problem by moving my static form to a Report Footer instead of the Group Footer. The Report Footer is designed to handle 1 record at the end of your report. Now my 2 page Purchase Order prints on 2 pages and the page footer 1 or 2 and 2 of 2 is printing on the PO and not the static form. The Static form now prints on the last page. :-)
Hello leonchau80 where you able to get this to work? If so can you send me the expression you used?
Sorry, it’s our Batch Ticket.
Our BNR is a Batch Ticket or Production Number
Sorry Benjamin, the first and second screen shot are in a Batch Ticket (Production). The third screen shot is in Report designer. I have used =[AMMTran.LotSerialNbr] in another report that works fine but for some reason it’s running the same report 5 times (5 items in my packaging tab). Are you suggesting that I add an IIF() statement here? In my second screen shot below I’m using AAMMTran.DocType Equals O to try to only pull from 1 (first item) item from the list of 5. Label screen to run the report. Here is my Filters in Report Designer Schema Here is my Relationships in Report Designer.
Chris, no solution at this point.
Thank you Yulias18, that helped me to find my problem. I did not have the InventoryID table in my schema. When I added it I then added the visual expression of =IIF([InventoryItem.StkItem]=FALSE,FALSE,TRUE) that hid my field for Lot #’s of non-stock items while allowing my stock items with lot codes to populate.
Thank you dcomerford, here is my test.=IIF[@BatchSize) is Null, [AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / Ceiling(([AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / [EWPMFormula.FormulaReqQty]))
It worked if I typed in the manual batch size, but it came out blank if I did not enter a manual batch size. If I don’t type in the manual batch size then I want it to perform the standard calculation of;=[AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / Ceiling([AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / [EWPMFormula.FormulaReqQty])I’m trying to get an either / or answer. So if the manual batch size is blank it should do the normal calculation, but if you type in a manual batch size in the parameter it will calculate from the manual entry.
Looking at your first expression gave me an idea. I should use Is instead of IIF. this one worked. =IsNull([@BatchSize],[AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / Ceiling(([AMProdItem.QtytoProd] / [EWPMFormula.FormulaReqQty]))) Thank you for your help!!
