Westpac corporate credit card bank feeds

Despite the fact that there is a built-in “Westpac Business Credit Cards” option in the Financial Institution field on the Apply for Bank Feed screen, the credit cards cannot be found in the drop-down bank account field on Westpac website. Our client called Westpac and the reply was “credit cards can’t be set through Bank Feeds”. I put a question mark on this reply and am wondering if there is anyone setting up Westpac credit card bank feeds before?

Alternative of MFA for Outlook add-in ?

We have just integrated our Azure AD and MYOBAdvanced for Single Sign On. It is working well. However, Outlook add-in has no feature of SSO yet. We wanted to use 2FA for Outlook plugin if it doesn’t support SSO. Can we enable 2FA only for few native users if SSO is already enabled in the system ? Looks like, It is not possible as the option is not available. Just wanted to have a confirmation on this topic. How can we make a login secured for Outlook plugin users in MYOBAdvanced?

Hi there, Is the MS Teams integration feature available in MYOB Acumatica? If so can someone share some good use cases and how to configure it. One example I can think of…employe has an overdue task, and I want to send a Teams message/alert notifying that there need to complete the task.

How access rights are defined in MYOB Acumatica?

Hi Community, I am struggling to maintain data security in MYOB because a user can see other users’ purchase request and so on. Please help me out. I want to manage it properly and document it. However, I am confused as it is complex to understand. In our scenario, there are 3 types of access rights. Access Rights by License Type Access Rights by Role Access Rights by Screen There are modules, forms, functions and what not. Example: If we grant ‘Employee’ License and ‘Administrator’ role to them. And both have different level of access rights. In this case, Which access right over-rides to each other? Is there a hierarchy ? Admins cannot modify access rights by license type as it is purchased accordingly. How does this all work Is there anyone experts here regarding this topic? Regards Abhishek

Payroll Overpayment, closed period

Hi, We have processed overpayments to 4 employees. Payments have been made. The period has been closed off. Does anyone have experience in recovering payroll overpayments through MYOB Acumatica, and can provide a bit of a step by step guide? Unfortunately, the system does not allow negative amounts or figures for any payroll codes/items. It is also very difficult at manually adjust PAYG tax in this system. I have tested a newly created Pre-Tax Deduction code which kinda works, but I can’t adjust the PAYG tax. And this would not 100% correctly reflect the reversal.

Does MYOB Advanced Support auto-assignment of default license to users during SSO ?

Hi everyone, we are new org trying to setup MYOB Advanced, and while trying to integrate MYOB with our Azure AD for Single Sign On purpose, SSO is working fine. But, the pain point we are having is license assignment. If we do not assign the license, user can’t sign-in even their account is synced from Azure AD with their roles. and to assign the license, we need to manually add the user via ‘Add user from Active Directory’ option. This will be a whole manual task for adding all users one by one and assign the license to them. Is there any solution/workaround for it ? Does MYOB supports auto assignment of default license during SSO? Please help. Struggling with this. will be really appreciated.

Unable to write data to the transport connection, send Email From MYOB Advanced

Hi everyone, Recently, our company started using MYOB Advanced, and we want to send invoices directly from our Gmail account through MYOB Website. However, every time we send an invoice, we need to manually: Log in to the Client ID via an external application. Log in to the "Email Account ID" in the system email accounts, as shown in the screenshot below. I've also included the Gmail settings for your reference. More information: The Google workspace is connected to MYOB Acumatica as an external application. The Oth2 Authentication is used. The system requires to log into the Google account several times a day unless process the error below. 'Unable to write data to the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.' Could someone please assist in linking MYOB with Gmail so that we don’t need to manually log in every day? Thank you!

Hi, I’ve added a line graph to my dashboard and I’m having troubles making it look how I want. How can I increase the thickness of the lines? And I’d like to change the colour. I’ve clicked the colour buttun, but an “expression editor” is the next step??

Expense capture automation - tips

Hi, would love some tips/ticks on capturing a photo of a receipt on Iphone and automatically creating expense entry (if possible at all). Current process is only to add the image and then you have to manually add the expense entry.

Hi, If we set up an NZD credit card in the system and configure a bank feed in MYOB Advanced, how can we ensure that all AUD purchases are accurately recorded as cash transactions processed through the bank feed transactions? Thanks

Import and create Invoices (large scale)

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to create and import multiple invoices from a single spreadsheet. Context: We have an Excel sheet containing rebates we need to pay to 100-150 customers, calculated at the end of the month. The sheet includes the customer name, amount to be paid, and other relevant details. How can I import each row into an invoice under the company name in Acumatica, instead of individually creating an invoice for each rebate for each customer? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Does Acumatica record the user that "Converts to Order" of a CR304500 Opportunity Quote?

Hi All, I am wanting to have a Sales Generic Enquiry of the total sum of Opportunity/Quotes converted to Orders by CreatedByID to show which employee have done the action to convert to order? I am not sure if the logged in user who initiates this Convert action ( different to the Quote owner, or the Creator of the quote) is recorded, and we can use this field? The Creator of the new converted Sales order is a proxy of who clicked this button when this Convert to Sales Order Action is implemented on the opportunity quote however it picks up Sales orders created directly. I created a GI and looked in both the opportunity, Quote and Sales Order Tables but didn't see a convert field we could use? Or if anyone else know how to report who converted a CR304500 quote to a Sales Order?

Why is there no "Add items" button on Opportunities where it is on a Sales Order form?

The “ADD ITEMS” Button on the Sales Order (SO) is very useful as you can see Inventory in warehouses and also do a search for previous sale price using the “Sold Since” selection. But when doing an Opportunity so you can transform to a Quote, this ADD ITEM button is missing on both opportunity and opportunity Quote form? The Add button functionality seems to have the same features common to a Sales order ( adding inventory ) , so I am wondering if there is a reason it is missing or an oversight? Can it be added? This will allow this price lookup functionality to be used on an opportunity quote?

MYOB users access to Acumatica Knowege Base and Product Ideas

Hi All, Great idea having us MYOB users utilise the Acumatica forums and as per Kim's introduction post we linking how to utilise the existing Knowlege base and idea boards. I was a present Acumatica account user and previously I didn't have access to the Product knowledge and the Product idea areas. Is there a process to get access to access to these areas now so we can help contribute our ideas and use the knowledge base?
