Hi, would love some tips/ticks on capturing a photo of a receipt on Iphone and automatically creating expense entry (if possible at all). Current process is only to add the image and then you have to manually add the expense entry. 

Hi @salmanrahman Please elaborate. Are you looking for a functionality like Image to text recognition and submit an Expense Exclaim automatically. Please confirm. 


Hi @ChandraM yes that is correct. When the picture of the receipt is taken the system can read the text and potentially add transaction lines. The text should be able to be edited I suppose.

Check your Enable/Disable features list to see if the Image Recognition feature is turned on.  Also, you sometimes need to refresh/updated your license key as well.  If this option is not available, check with your VAR, as you may need to upgrade from the old version of Expense Recognition to the new version (Advanced Expense) to get this feature added.
 

 


Hi @salmanrahman as you’ve posted in this MYOB specific channel, I’m assuming you’re using MYOB Acumatica, which means you won’t have the Features from @meganfriesen37 screenshot above.

Until this is introduced to MYOB releases, you may need to explore an ISV to handle expenses/receipts OCR functionality.
