How to show an invoice as paid

Hi all! I’m new to Acumatica; we just converted on 12/1 from Quickbooks. How can I show an invoice marked as paid for my customers? They ask for a paid invoice all the time for their records. We sell high end products that many people need this for insurance purposes. Sometimes a customer will make a partial payment. Example, a customer has an invoice for $100,000 worth of goods for which he paid $80,000. I need the invoice to show: Total: $100,000Amount Paid: $80,000Balance Due: $20,000 Or if it’s paid in full, it would be marked as such and balance due would be zero. How can I do this?

Receive and Put Away Against a Purchase Order

Hello,My company will be receiving purchased inventory directly to the warehouse, and storing it from there. The warehouse team will be using scanners to automate the process, and they are equipped with PO Receivers we’ve provided to them (With barcodes for both PO and Inventory Items), and Location Barcodes.What we’d like to happen is they remotely use the Receive and Put Away function to create a purchase receipt (with auto generated serials) against against the PO for the corresponding inventory that they are receiving. It should be simple, however I cannot get the Receive and Put Away function to accept a purchase order number/barcode. It only asks for a purchase receipt, which defeats the purpose as the warehouse team is the first to receive it.Am I missing something? Any help provided would be greatly appreciated!!!

HelloI searched and surprised this question was not on the Community… maybe I am missing somethingUsing Avalara tax. Have a AR invoice that includes sales tax in error. Need to create a credit memo for only the sales tax without having to credit the whole invoice.Is this possible?

Hi, everyone,I have error when y create a new Fixed Asset, I trate to explainWhen enter receipt date “12/12/2017” and in te field Placed-in-service date “01/12/2022”i have a error Asset will be depreciated from 01/12/2018 to 12/31/2027, book 'FIN' does not have financial periods generated from 2018 to 2027. You need to go to 'Generate FA Calendars' screen and generate financial periods before changing this asset. has it happened to someone?the periods has ben created! thanks

Shipped Not Invoiced

Hello all, I was wondering if any in the community is using the Shipped not invoiced functionality in Acumatica and if so what their feedback is on the functionality. I am currently exploring switching to this functionality as I do not like the way the system handles SO Order shipments from an inventory perspective. My issue is that we do not invoice an SO until it is delivered to the customer. Which at that point we are invoicing and posting the IN so that the revenue and the expense are posted at the same time. However, with the OTB configuration this process leaves the inventory in the system at the site until it is invoiced when, in my opinion, it should move the inventory from the site to an In-transit account until and invoice is created and the COGS are expensed. So I have been looking into the shipped not invoiced which placed the inventory cost into a Accrual account until the invoice is posted. However, OTB it appears that this Shipped Not Invoiced account does not show up

Therefore, there are no changes in 1099-NEC form layout or in E-File format that require changes in the Acumatica ERP. backfill box 7 for all yearly bills after vendor was deemed 1099-eligible

Is there a simplier way to backfill box 7 on existing AP bills once a vendor becomes 1099-eligible? AP Bills that were created before vendor became 1099-eligible shows blank, while the AP bills created after vendor became 1099-eligible shows box 7. Currently i have to open every bill and add box 7 manually, which is a huge waste of time.

Micr Check

Does anyone know the correct field to set the check number to on the Micr line report. If I set the check number parameter to PaymentMethodAccount.APLastRefNbr the whole line disappears. If I take it out the account and routing numbers show up fine but no check number. I have also tried APPaymnet.ExtRefNbr same results ….. Thank you.

Bill Approval for only certain users

HI, I’m trying to create an approval map where a manager will need to approve the AP bill for POs enter only by certain users. It doesn't look to be working. However if I uncheck the active box for the 2 employees in the conditions tab, the approval does work. I only need it for these 2 employees though. Any Thoughts?

I facing a problem when run AR Close Financial periods which detected an unreleased document (credit memo) on 06-2021. I checked the document found that this document posted in 05-2021 and status is closed.Anyone can advise me how to clear this document from Unreleased Document and able to process close financial period for 06-2021.

Runtime on Reports too long or do not run at all

We are having problem with reports not loading. The spinning wheel just spins. If the report finally pops up it take over 3 minutes. Most of the time the report never loads. This issue is effecting financial statements and generating AR invoices. My IT department has restarted the server and that does not help. We can run Acumatica directly from the server and the reports work just fine, it appear to be only effecting the workstations. We have reached out to our Acumatica partner as well. If anyone has ran into this and can point us in the right direct, it would be greatly appreciated.

AP Document Recognition Not Working on Premise or Microsoft Azure Instances

Has anyone been successful in implementing AP Document Recognition in a Production Environment on Premise or on Microsoft Azure?What about on AWS?In an On Premise instance the Incoming Documents screen is not “remembering” the user mapping for detail lines and in order for the Vendor to be “remembered” the vendor record must be manually edited. (2020 R2 Build 20.204.0031) In a Microsoft Azure instance the Incoming Documents screen is not “remembering” the Vendor or user mapping for detail lines. (2021 R1 Build 21.102.0070)

Fixed Asset Bar Code Scanning

We have a customer with thousands of fixed assets across multiple locations. They have assets tags on all of the items and need a method to perform a phyisical on the assets by location that can be reconcilied to Acumatica Fixed Assets.Has anyone come across a good third party solution, customization or method within Acumatica for performing a physical on fixed assets using bar code scanners for reconciliation/adjustment to the Acumatica Fixed Assets module?

Has anyone done an integration with Bill.com or checkissuing.com?Issue: We have several customers that issue a large number of AP check each month through Bill.com. This results in a lot of manual entry, labor printing, stuffing and mailing checks.
