Allowing AP supervisor to see all records in approvals screen

The AP supervisor wants to see all of the outstanding approvals and who has not done their approvals.  How do I make it so she can see them on the ALL tab?She does have her own approvals both for herself and her work group just find, just cant seem to allow her to see what is outstanding for everyone else.

Deliveries in Canada tax issues

Our customer hires a truck to make deliveries in CA.  The issue is that each delivery can have different tax consequences.  For example they will get charged a fee for the delivery and then get taxed at the Ontario rate, then their next delivery is is made in Manitoba and they invoice will have the fee and then a separate line for Manitoba taxes. I feel like Incoming Document recognition is going to have issues and I am not sure the best way to handle the change in taxes for each line of the invoice.  Has anyone had this issue and found a good solution?

Printing Checks without Quantity

Our company has acquired a new division that we are trying to bring into Acumatica. Their main issue is that they currently write checks without amounts to purchase local goods at various locations. For example, they might go to Sams or Costco to buy supplies but they won't know the exact amount of the purchase until they are at the warehouse and have everything in their cart. At the end of the day, they send back the receipts with the check tab so we can enter it on their accounting system.Normally, we would issue a purchasing/expense card for these situations but for several reasons we can't in this case. Furthermore, the purchases are large so I can't ask the employee to pay and reimburse. Is there a way to handle this in Acumatica? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Cannot Update Customer Price class with import scenarios

There seems to be something wrong with import scenarios to update existing customers.  The customer exist in the system and I only had two columns in the excel file, Customer ID and Price Class ID.  When importing, the error is “Legal Name cannot be empty”.  When I add the Account name into the excel spreadsheet, I get “Email address must be specified if “Send statements by Email” option is activated.  The account already has an email address.I do not want to introduce more fields into the excel spreadsheet as I am just updating the Customer Price Class but it just seems impossible.Why can’t I just update one field?

I am working on implementing project accounting.  I set up a project template and am now working on the project template tasks.  Do you need to set up the Project Template Tasks for each Project Template or can the tasks be shared between the Project Templates?

Ability To Grant Users Access to Create and Save Journal Transactions, but Restrict "Hold" or "Release"

Hello - Is it possible to grant users the ability to create and save Journal Transactions, but not allow them to take it off of hold or release them? I am able to restrict the ability to create new transactions via the access rights by screen, but I have not been able to figure out how to allow the creation of them without release. Thanks!

ARM Report: Column Formula using a specific row in that formula

I am trying to divide the results from Column B by a value in a Row.  I have tried various combinations of the following.  Can someone please suggest?  If you are wondering, I am using the @BaseRowCode for another column.  Thanks! B/@RowCode = 0280=B/ Value(@RowCode ,0280) =B/ Value(@RowCode ,'0280’) =B/ Value(@RowCode ,'B') = '0280'

How to stops the COGS/Inventory from posting to GL when the invoice is created.

Hello community, We are looking to find a way to have the SO sales order type to not post the COGS/Inventory entry to GL when the invoice is created and released.  We only want the AR/Sales account to post to GL when the invoice is created and released.  We currently have one tenant that is working this way but we can not find the setting that stops the COGS/Inventory from posting to GL when the invoice is created.is there a setting we need to turn on or off for this to work on this specific tenant?Thanks for all the help in advance.

How to check "Depreciate" to calculate fixed asset depreciation after previously unchecking ?

Dear ALL,Fixed assets were purchased but have not yet been depreciated, so we unchecked the “Depreciate” field. Within a column set how to make it stay at 12/31/XX

HI, We have a client that wants to create a column that always stays at December 31, depending on the year the Balance Sheet or P&L is run and have the first column of the report change based on current YTD or prior YTD information. Example a comparitive B/S is generated as of 3/31/24 in the first column but the second column will always be 12/31/23 Prior YTD or a report is run as of 4/30/22 and the Prior YTD column is 12/31/22. I know how to update the data source but having issues creating the date format to alawys pull as of 12/31/xx. Here is a copy of my formula what am I doing wrong? =Format( '{0: MMMM yyyy}',Report.GetPeriodEndDate(Report.FormatPeriod(@StartPeriod, -1, 0)))This formula should always state 12/31/XX but it does not. Here is my data source setting for the column set: If I can get any guidance on how to set tht date format to reflect 12/31/xx that would be great.

Allocation of Expenses based upon Sales Order count in Branches

We have 1 tenant, 2 branches.  All expenses get recorded in 1 branch.  I would like to allocate certain warehouse and fixed costs to both branches based upon completed Sales Orders every month.  I am looking at the help allocation screen & allocation method and not sure how to get this set up.Does anyone know the way to set this up or if this is even possible to allocate expenses that way?

Currency Error with Bank Feed

I am trying to process a bank feed and it will process just fine in test mode, but when going to retrieve bank transactions, I get the error “Currency cannot be empty” They do not have multi-currency. I have never seen this error before. Can someone help.Thanks

Update unit cost for expense items

I created an expense item for mileage. Populated Pending Cost and Pending Cost Date fields as shown below. When I go to Update Standard Costs screen, this item does not appear for me to process (see second screenshot). Not sure if I’m doing this wrong for expenses, haven’t found much documentation on it. Thoughts anyone?

How to allocate the sum of total depreciate into a month in the report Fix Asset Net Value( FA613000) ?

I want to allocate this amount over the months. Does anyone have any ideas on how to write a function to divide the total allocated amount?I used the formula =SUM(iif(left([FAHistoryByPeriod.FinPeriodID],2)='01'and right([FAHistoryByPeriod.FinPeriodID],2)=right([@PeriodTo],2),[FADetails.AcquisitionCost]/(12[FixedAsset.UsefulLife]),0) ) but the report is not showing correctly.*The correct value is 6 months with 6 equal values but it only shows 3 months, or 1 month.

Avalara Integration using Avalara APIs

We have a customer who would like the ability to enter Sales Tax information for Customers and Locations in Acumatica, including an uploaded certificate image, and have that same information populated in AvaTax’s Certificate Management database without having to manually enter it. We’re aware of a library of APIs Avalara provides, and we’re wondering if anyone has developed scripts to accomplish this? The overarching goal is to enter the data once rather than having to add the info in both Avalara and Acumatica. The other driving factor is that customer exemption information entered in Avalara is not visible in Acumatica and requires users to log in to Avalara to determine if a customer already has an exemption certificate on file.
