Smart panel on detail lines not working

I am creating a customization on the sales order screen to collect some info on a smart panel and add it to custom fields on the line details. This is a low code project so I created the smart panel using the UI. I dropped a button on the action bar for the details grid. On the PopupPanel property of the button, I pointed it to the smartpanel by adding the ID there. This all works great. When the button is clicked, the popup panel comes up. The only issue I am facing is that the information entered is always saved to only the first line on the details grid. It does not matter which line I have selected before clicking the button to open the popup panel. What am I missing?I am on Acumatica 2023 R2.

Custom Lot Numbering

Hi, there are a few options for defining the format of a lot number but I need to try and extend the options. The screen shot below shows a date based setup. This leads to a lot number like 2408In the INLotSerClass table on the database you can see the format, which is : {0:yy}{0:dd}I want to add a new option called DayOfYear, there are a few challenges to getting this into the UI but if this worked I might end up with a format like {0:yy}{0:w} and this would provide a lot number like 24221w isn’t a valid datetime formatting string so I would need to adjust the Acumatica code. In the Acumatica source code in class Attribute.cs I can see that GetNextNumber is how the format is translated into a value to create a lot number. Can you reference other DACs in a PXFilteredProcessingJoin or is it only for display?

Hello community. I had a question on a customization project I am working on. I have the code below where I am joining to quite a few other tables. When I am working in the code, am I able to reference the joined data or only the primary table? When I try to get Orders.Current to work it is only for SOOrder. Trying to see the time a Sales Order was created

I’m trying to pull in the date and time a Sales Order was created for some metrics for my shipping department. They have a cutoff time, where and order entered before the cut off time should be shipped same day. When I look at the SOOrder table, it looks like I should be able to use SOORder.CreatedDateTime, but in the GI, I only see the date, not the time. Is there a way to make the time exposed. And maybe even better, a way to split the date and time?

Billing Projects in Advance

Hi all,We are working on an implementation where everything is billed in advance.Projects is being used to track costs/revenue and margins and we would like to setup the Project to Bill in advance for next month.However, I cannot see an easy way to do this. We setup monthly recurring billing on our Projects and then when we go to the Run Project Billing screen, it only lets us bill retrospectively.I've tried changing the next billing date to today when setting up the project, which seems to work, but in the Run Project Billing screen the from and to dates show as being this past month. So it still looks like we are Billing retrospectively.As a bit of extra info, we are using Acumatica to track on monthly/quarterly/yearly Software subscriptions. We are billed by the suppliers in advance and need to ideally be able to Bill the Clients in advance.Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.Many thanks,

Project Pro forma Custom fields enabled when status is closed

I have managed to add two custom fields to the Line details (Time and Material) of the pro forma screen.We need them to be editable once the status is closed, but in doing so using code, all the fields are editable which is a bit dangerous as the invoice is already released. I then checked the workflow and it has no setting for disabling all the Pro Forma Line line (All Fields) in the Closed Status. I thought, lets add it. Still all are editable. Really need to stop all the other fields from being editable so hoping for some help here. Acumatica Row Level Security - GL Account Access Issue

Acumatica Row Level Security on the GL Account seems to work fine when you are trying to remove the account from selection when creating a new Journal Entry. However, any released Journal Entry, as well as a number of the GL Register and Edit Reports include these transaction lines for all users, as long as they have the right to open the Journal Entry or Register report. If the purpose of the Restriction Group is implied to:“your organization may have sensitive or confidential accounts and subaccounts which must be invisible for majority of users. You can control the visibility of these accounts and subaccounts for users (that is, -which users can view the accounts and subaccounts) by using restriction groups.”Wouldn’t you want the transaction rows to be suppressed in the report/entry screen as well. Does this match with what others have found when using the Account restrictions? Thank you. Bryan

How to add a filed to the UI which does not exist in current View

Depreciation error

Running monthly depreciation for several companies and I am getting Calculated+ as the Transaction Type instead of Depreciation+ on the fixed asset transactions. I have double checked that I chose Depreciation instead of Calculate Only. This only happened for two companies out of the 12 I ran this month. I also checked that depreciation completed successfully for both companies last month. I tried deleting the FA transactions and rerunning them to make certain everything was chosen correctly and received the same results.

Field not updating when field changed on other screen

When I update a field on screen CA.30.40.00 (screenshot below), I want it to update in other screens such as CA.30.30.00. I have attached a screenshot of my code to be able to edit those fields after status becomes “released”. Does anyone have any idea what additional steps are needed to refresh the fields on CA.30.30.00 as they are updated elsewhere? Which screen do I have to modify the code in?

Require Receipt and Require Shipment missing from Non-Stock Items

After a recent upgrade I’ve noticed that the two checkboxes for Require Receipt and Require Shipment are missing from our Non-Stock ItemsThe fields are still populated with a value and I can see those values through a GI, but there are no fields to edit or modify on the Non-Stock item itself, nor can I access them via a mass records update or import scenarioWe have a few minor customizations to Non-Stock items but nothing that should impact these fields Is there anything I’m missing from a settings or configuration stand-point that might be causing this?

Attribute Input Mask: Numbers with Two Decimal Places

Hello! I am trying to use an input mask to allow for numerical entry only where the number has two decimal places. For instance, we manufacture parts that have dimensions such as 68.50” and 82.25”. I tried using the input masks ##.##” and 90.99” on the attribute itself but when I enter the values above I get the following results:68.50” → 68._5”82.25” → 82._2”. I had figured out that we could use something such as 90.99#” but it then returns values as: 82.25” → 82._25” This isn’t ideal and could get confusing. Is there anyway to force a number right after the decimal?Also, I believe I found a bug in the system when it comes to these input masks. Using the 90.99#” input mask above, it registers the number but every time I click on the attribute and click off it reduces the number and adds a space. Thank you!

GL Mapping for Credit Memos

As Controller, I am looking for credit memos to hit a different GL than my sales. I have been informed that Acumatica cannot do this. I don’t believe it. Can someone please direct me how to do this? is it possible to use working links in the "other information" field of service orders/appointments that are functional in mobile?

When we add a link to the “other information” field of an appointment, it is not clickable in the mobile app. It appears in the comment section, but when you touch to open the comment section, the entire field is editable and the link is not editable? What we are trying to do is provide a link to a project collaboration web tool that we have within the corresponding appointment in Acumatica (for the techs). Is there a way to do this at all without customization?

Replenishment seasonlity factor

Hi!A factor has to be configured in the replenishment seasonality screen but it doesn’t do anything. In this case, a create a Holiday Season with start date 2/14/2022 and end date 2/18/2022 with an 1.25 factor. Now, I run the Prepare Replenishment screen considering that I’ve changed the business date of the system to 2/14/2022 and when I review the Quantity To process or the Reorder point values, non of them has being affected by the 1.25 factor: This means the factor is only being used for Forecasting?
