Hello! When we attach a PDF to a record (i.e. invoice, sales order, whatever) it shows in the file browser as a .pdf file extension.When you open the file for viewing, Acumatica seems to be serving it as an .ashx. Does anyone know if there is a way to get Acumatica to serve the PDF to us? ASHX does not work well at all on Mac OS
We have a web-hosted Acumatica instance (2021 R2).We use Tasks quite a bit, and we frequently set due dates and although we check the “Reminder” box and set a date, nothing happens. There’s no pop-up, no email, nothing. Essentially, the “Reminder” box is useless to us right now. Apart from setting up my own Business Event that will email people when triggered, I don’t understand how I can get the “Reminder” box to do anything? I found instructions to “Turn on Reminders” https://biofermenergy.acumatica.com/(W(1))/Help?CompanyID=BIOFerm+Energy&ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=667e2765-09c0-4800-a02d-0e225b8203e1, but these instructions seem to only work with locally-hosted setups of the ERP (hence the topic being underneath the tree of System Administration/Maintaining Acumatica ERP Locally). I could not find equivalent setup instructions for web-hosted ERP… Can anyone help?
I’m struggling to add a new currency field to my SOLine DAC. ErrorsWhen setting the value on any of the SOLines, if the value is >=100, then I get this error.CustomizationHere’s how I added the custom fields: I created two fields, a UsrSalesRepUnitCost and a UsrCurySalesRepUnitCost, with the following attributes in each. The “Database Scripts” section in the customization project window indicates the both of the custom fields are using the `DECIMAL(8, 4)` datatype, which I would assume would allow values as high as 9999.9999. QuestionsWhy am I getting an error indicating that the value 150.0000 is too large? Have I properly configured the two custom fields to accurately work for representing currency? I couldn’t find any resources in the documentation about creating custom currency fields.
I have a client using Acumatica MFA with the option to only require a code on new or unknown devices only. It seems that Acumatica is requesting the code nearly every time even though they are logging in using the same computer.Has anyone experienced this of have any suggestions?We have tried changing browser settings to allow all cookies but still no luck.
This is our first private cloud installation and though everything is accessible locally (the install was done on a virtual app server with a connection to a virtual db server), I am unsure of next steps to be able to access acumatica externally via chrome. What would the client or we need to provide/set up in order for the site to be accessible like this?I’m assuming they would need to provide certs for https, purchase a public IP address to bind the site to, and we would just need to configure the site under IIS with that information and the hostname (something like acumatica.customerdomain.com). But I’m unsure about all that and whether there needs to be something needed to be done with the domain. Can someone break this down for me? I don’t have too much experience with this sort of implementation. Thanks in advance!
I have an approval map for PO order total between 5K ad 50K for PO lines having “X” project code.But if there are multiple lines having different project codes, how can I just pick up my lines with “X” project code and add up Ext Cost Amount , if the total of these lines over 5000 then it’ll send it to approver, but if this total is less than 5k no need to go to approver.
Hi All,I want to create inventory based on a company. I have 4 companies, i want 3 companies to share 1 list and 4th company to have a separate list, which should not be visible to the first 3.I don’t want to create user roles for it or restriction groups.Is there any other way i can achieve it?Thank you.
Is there an Acumatica method to merge two tenants into one which are currently in the same database?Client has multiple companies and multiple branches in two separate tenants, is it possible to merge the two tenants into one, if they share the same Chart of Accounts and same periods? If not, Is there a script that can be run to bring the master records together with just the settings without transactions?

hi everybody,i set the “From” adress in our ShipmentConfirmationNotification to “versand@”, but it will always be overwritten by the user profile email settings of the automated sender, in this case “info@”. Does anybody know how to avoid this? Thank you!!Best Regards, Benjamin
We received an interesting Support case today from James Harris (LiveViewTech) where a large volume of emails processing was giving the following error message on every email after the first several dozen: “Too many login attempts, please try again later.” The failed emails when opened had the error: “Unable to write data to the transport connection: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.” The system administrators tried everything that they could think of, including the suggestion from the Acumatica Support tech’s Chat to consider that GMail had locked the account. (It wasn’t locked, however. In fact, this actually was the first thing that they checked, even before it was recommended by the Support tech.) They tried restarting the server, using an SMTP relay, exploring several proposed online solutions for this error message, etc. But, nothing worked. Consolidated Customer statement defaults to branch sorting. Removing branch group breaks statement footer.
We opted to use branches because we are technically a two branch company internally, however, as far as our customers are concerned we are one company, one branch. Because we opted for branches, the default customer statement (consolidated included) form wants to group AR documents by branch but this confuses our customers who expect all their documents in order by document date. This in spite of the AR Preferences consolidation setting set as below: I attempted to remove the Branch group in the report designer, and while this fixed the sort order, the “...AgeBalance00-05” fields started calculating as though only for the first branch.Further testing suggests the report was using the groupOrganization footer which does use the OrganizationAgeBalance00-05 fields rather than the customer equivalents, but both customer and organization are higher level groups than branch, so I don’t know why they would be recalculating as though per branch. How can I determine why I get 'You have insufficient rights to access the object (Cst_CRTaskMaint)' when trying to create a new task on the tasks screen.
We are running into problems with creating a new task on the Tasks screen under Time & Expenses.From looking at the effective rights of the user in Access rights by user the user shows as having delete permission on the tasks screen. They can get to the screen and even click to add a task when an error message pops up saying ‘You have insufficient rights to access the object (Cst_CRTaskMaint).’How can I determine why this is failing? Does this depend on the user being granted access to another screen first? Has anyone else run into this issue?Thanks for any help,Phil
Is it possible to configure Acumatica to use the Fedex One rate service through the Easypost plugin?
We are using the Easypost plugin in Acumatica and would like to use the Fedex one rate service. According to the easypost api documentation this is achieved by passing the predefined_package name through to easypost. We have created a box in Acumatica which is set up to match the Fedex Large box dimensions and with the Easypost predefined_package name for it in the Carrier’s package field (FedExLargeBox). Does the Acumatica Easypost plugin support sending a predefined package name? If so how do we go about configuring this? Defining a box with name FEDEXLARGEBOX and the Carrier’s package field populated with FedExLargeBox doesn’t seem to work. We still get varying rates dependent on where an order is shipped.We are using FEDEX_2_DAY as the service method if that has any bearing on it. Thanks for any help, Phil
In the pre-setup instructions (Installation Guide/Preparing for Installing Acumatica ERP), it says to enable these IIS features. It should clarify that only ASP.NET 4.7 (or appropriate ASP.NET version for the installation) needs to be included. Not ASP.NET 3.5, which is usually an option in IIS setup (see below).
I have taken a bunch of backups through the system over time for 2021R2. Now I want to upgrade to 2022 R1. My current version number of 2021 R2 is too high to be upgraded with 2022 R1. So I wanted to go back to a backup that was old enough to be supported by the 2022 R1 installer for upgrade.When I went to my list of backups, I noticed that almost all of them list the latest version of 2021 R2 as the version. However, that version didn’t come out until a few weeks ago, and most of the backups were from way before it came out.Can anyone explain (you will see there are a few backups in the list with a previous version….but not most of them)? How can backups taken before the latest version came out now have the latest version number?
