How can I fix the "validated" button on locations for our business in Acumatica (using Avalara for validation)
We are setting up our locations in Acumatica, and are using the Avalara address validation tool. When we set up a location, the address and LocationID is the same as we are using in Avalara, yet the “Validated” button within Acumatica is framed in red and unable to be chosen. Has anyone experienced this? If so, and if you know how to repair, I would be grateful.
Hello, I followed the S100 video to set up a trial version to do some testing of Acumatica, but when I try to launch the instance, I get a login failed screen. I looked around and couldn’t find any TBS info on this topic. Just wondering if theres something simple i’m overlooking. I copied the server error below. Server Error in '/AcumaticaERP' Application. Hello all,I have been trying to access the Acumatica Demo instance via URL. It has been successfully installed on one of our servers, and also accessible through the server’s browser but not able to access it outside the server machine via URL. Hi, I am trying to update the numbering sequence for the Projects screen, but I am running into the error shown below. Here is what Segment 1 looks like. Is there anything that jumps out at you to justify why the above error was complaining about the format? Also, if I was to make a change to any of the attributes in the segment grid, I get the error that is shown below. Good morning Acumatica community! We are a very small business on the Acumatica scale so have to weigh cost at a premium. Our business has a large number of stock items that we work with (approximately 7k). While making adjustments to initial configurations, we are burning through a significant portion of our allocated ERP transactions each month and are currently at 90% for October.If we don’t upgrade to a higher tier but use more ERP transactions than our license covers, will we be charged after the fact? And if so, would it be cheaper for us to upgrade ahead of time knowing we will need the increase for two months only? Thank you,Julia
Good dayI have upgraded from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 by installing the file from the community website. I did a direct upgrade from built Build 22.106.0015 to the latest built on 2023 R2.After first upgrading the database and finished of updating the website and all processes were successful.The Instance I upgraded named BuffaloDB. When I then tried to Launch the application I got the error message shown below, “HTTP Error 503. Service unavailable”What could be the issue?I even did a new separate instance to see if I can login I manage to create a demo instance but the one I tried to upgrade from 2022 R1 failed. How can I make the upgraded instance from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 work? On this installation it is on VMWARE as a way of testing the upgrade in the actual production environment.Also on this installation I do not have .NET 4.8 framework could it be the issue?

How to have the web.config file confidential texts like username, passwords encrypted.Background: As we are aware, the confidential settings in the web.config shows the username , passwords and anyone who has the access to it can note it.Expected Solution:How to overcome this. We occasionally send out mass emails to all of our customer contacts in Acumatica. Let’s say were increasing our subscription pricing for example. We have a separate system email account (XYZ@company.com) that we use for mass email so that if customers respond back to it or the automatic out of office replies come back, it does not flood our normal sales inbox with those emails, and they go back to the (XYZ@company.com) email account.With sending so many emails out at once, there is a lot of cleanup on those replies, and you have to go into each email and open it up to see if someone has responded, or if it is simply that they are out of the office. Example, some respond that they are no longer with the company or they don’t want to receive these types of emails any longer. We want to make sure if someone is no longer with the company we are inactivating their contact record and if they don’t want to be contacted, we aren’t sending them mass emails any longer. Hi all, I need to create an email template, which will send the email to the created by and all approver when the CA being rejected or approved.I already created a business event, and the process is successful, but the problem is, not sure why the email will only send to 1 approver.For example: below transaction need 3 approver to approve,After rejected, email should be sent to the document creator and 3 of these approvers.But the result only sent to the creator and the approver in the first line.why will this issue appear?
Hi everyone, We have just launched a new sit for a client. Client has access to 1 licensed and active tenant. We had initially loaded demo sales data into the new site to allow for end users to play around, practice and test the system before we begin actual configuration and data load for the client. We are now ready to load client's actual data from their old ERP. How can I remove the demo data from this tenant?Am I able to delete tenant 2? will I be able to create another active production tenant?What would be best practice for this situation?Thank you in advance.
I have searched, but suspect I’m not using the right terminology.Does anyone have access to, or know where I could find a step-by-step checklist / guide to setting up a new company from scratch. Eg. Start with Company, then create ledgers, then COA etc. all the way through customers and inventory.Many a time one will start configuring and we might start with trying to import a COA but find we didn’t set up Ledgers first, or try setting up AP Preferences but find we’ve not set up COA for default accounts. So to see things in the exact order in which to set them up would be super useful. TIA
I would like to display an Acumatica screen - or a wiki page (via the wiki widget the display is unfortunately not so nice) via an embedded page widget in the dashboard.This way I can also include input screens or the calendar boards from the service management as a side panel.Unfortunately, however, the Acumatica menu tree is also visible in the view. Does anyone have a trick how to hide this menu tree, e.g. via the link?
I need to give one of our roles access to add contacts, and to add contacts as a recipient to emails (such as Order Confirmation), while having view only for everything else regarding customers.If I give the role edit access on the Customer node, the role gets the access I want. So, I am assuming the access is somewhere within the customer node.But, I can’t find which sub-node or nodes needs to be set.Can anyone give guidance?

Is there any ability to make a file publicly accessible? Allowing anonymous, unlogged, users to download a file? We are on a hosted Acumatica implementation and are looking to streamline documents that are uploaded to stock items that are then shared on our website. Thank you!
