Why is my Local Acumatica Test Environment taking forever to load or timeouts al together

Hello,I have installed a Acumatica local instance on my laptop and it was loading up my U100 and S100 data in the first couple weeks just fine, but it seemed to get slower and slower every time I launched the instance to input data from the training manuals. Now the instance has started to time out when I attempt to launch it from the Acumatica configuration wizard. What can I do to speed up loading the instance Should I be using a laptop How can I create a reliable an stable test environment for low to no cost?Thanks for your help. Abdul

Seeking Help with Purchase Receipt Setup for Non-Stock Items in 2022 R1

Dear Acumatica Community,I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your valuable insights and assistance regarding an issue I am facing with Purchase Receipts in Acumatica 2022 R1 (Build 22.111.0020).Here's the situation: I am currently working on setting up Purchase Receipts for both non-stock items and stock items in our Acumatica ERP system. Ideally, I would like the Purchase Receipts for non-stock items to be recorded without affecting Inventory and Journal Vouchers in the background. However, for stock items, I want the Purchase Receipts to be duly recorded in Inventory and Journal Vouchers, as expected.During the testing phase in my own test environment, I noticed that this configuration was working precisely as intended. However, after going live with the same Acumatica version in our production database, I am experiencing an issue where Purchase Receipts for non-stock items are still triggering Journal Vouchers, which is not the desired behavior.At this poin

Error: sales order cannot be shipped in full. There are not enough stock items available for the X project

Hi Acumatica People,I am setting up a new environment and I did the following: -created a customer after I had set-up my customer classes-set up my reason codes-set up my warehouse with locations -created two items-Entered receipts (like this): -Entered the order: We haven’t changed any setting associated with Project (which is part of our planned implementation). This order is non-project order (identified in our settings as X). I am presently going through the “Project Inventory Tracking: Implementation Checklist”. Are there standard set-ups for the non-project, X, that I have missed? Thanks, Patrick

My company hire me for their WMS. I did some research and found Acumatica also has WMS. My question is how can I use it? It’s a add-on or I just need to upgrade our Acumatica to 2020R1? We are using 2019R2 now.

Authentication In Acumatica

I am having difficulty sending an authentication token in the headers while trying to populate fields in IN304000. I have obtained the token from the login API. However, when I set the token in the headers of the API to populate the fields in IN304000, I receive a "404 Not Found" error. Conversely, when I use the logout API and attempt to access the IN304000 API, I receive a "401 Unauthorized" error.

I am looking for post-Install Acumatica configuration steps template or best practices

First, before pointing me to them, I have already completed Acumatica badges for System Administration and Implementation Project Mgmt. Those modules did not answer my question.What I am looking for, is if there is some kind of Acumatica standard set of steps/procedures that must be followed for setting up an ERP system.For example, here are some very ‘high level’ steps that I have created on my own below, but am looking if Acumatica has something like this as a template or even an Excel spreadsheet of. "Sign In As User" is Unavailable

Hi, I have this error someone change the password on my account on sql, and i have this error.I already change the password and try to Log in on the Tenant Maintenance with this password and Acumatica let me pass straight to other steps.I have the tenant on the same version 23.108.0020 and idk the error says can't get the version.

AcuWebSiteManager : a global cli tool to manage acumatica instance sites

Hi,In this topic, i want to talk about an open source tool that i have developed for my own use but it may be useful for acumatica community. The tool is named AcuWebSiteManager and it is just a wrapper over ac.exe acumatica command line with some custom enhancements.When i install and/or uninstall acumatica sites with the wizard provided by acumatica, i m doing some boring manual tasks :Put the same infos again and again in wizard when i install a site Delete files, database, app-pool, etc keeped when i uninstall a siteSo, i developped the tool that help me to avoid those repetitive tasks. Access Rights for ability to delete a sales order line

Access rights for the user are set as follows:Sales Order - Insert Sales Order Line - DeleteBut the “X” to delete a line is not present and I can’t locate the exact access right for that action when I drill into the sales order line rights.

Acumatica Pre-Installation Instructions - clarify .NET framework

In the pre-setup instructions (Installation Guide/Preparing for Installing Acumatica ERP), it says to enable these IIS features. It should clarify that only ASP.NET 4.7 (or appropriate ASP.NET version for the installation) needs to be included. Not ASP.NET 3.5, which is usually an option in IIS setup (see below).

Upgrading from 2021r1 to 23r1

If you’ve done this upgrade…Does anything change about the underlying data structures, or does everything that is “native” continue to function properly? The upgrade itself seems quite simple, but I expect customizations to require updating/replacing or eliminating since some of our customizations are now native functionality. Do you have a general sense of how many of your customizations (by percentage) need to be updated/changed vs. any of them continue to work as they did previously? Just curious about your personal experience on this item #2.Thanks!

Is there a way to copy the entire SQL DB from inside Acumatica?

I do not have access to the Acumatica DB on SQL using SSIS. Is there a way to backup the entire Acumatica DB and then restore it to a test system from inside of Acumatica?I am thinking there is not. But I want to be sure.Thank you,

Is it possible to have the external reference number as a column when viewing the sales orders?

Custom Role - Copying Multiple Existing Roles

I’m looking for suggestions on best practice and methods for the following. Short Question(s): Is there a way to copy one or more security role settings to another role? Is there a way to compare two roles access settings? Additional context: We have a smaller team that operates the business side of things in our company. Like other small teams, a number of our team members have multiple responsibilities on a day to day basis and therefore their access/security requirement within the system don’t fit within the standard roles provided by Acumatica. I have been shown how I can copy an existing role as the basis of a custom role that I can then modify to meet the role specific requirements. However, I might have a custom role that could require 100% of the base AP Clerk role and 75% of the FA Clerk role. If we have a way to copy the settings of multiple roles to the new custom role, that would be great.Currently, (based on this example) I would copy the AP Clerk role to a new custom role

Limit Access rights on specific branches

I need to allow limited access to a branch outside a user’s home branch.One specific example - Our production managers need to see inventory levels at branches other than their own. This ability lets them find stock items they need to order from a sister branch. I don’t want to give the production manger the same rights they have on their own branch.Is there a way to do this?Also, this is just an example. There are other similar situations.

Can the little error on AR202800.aspx be fixed by Acumatica develop team permanently？

Hello， I always get Acumatica installation package from http://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/From version 2018 to the latest 2020R2 version， every version is having a same minor issue which happened on “Statement cycle” screen. (I am just wondering nobody else report this issue before? It exists in every package.)The issue is caused by the incorrect code writing in AR202800.aspx, like below: The right writing should be <px:PXLabel ID="Dash1" runat="server">?</px:PXLabel> Yes, I can fix this issue quickly by myself, however, if every time after any upgrading I have to fix it again and again, I feel frustrated. Sorry to ask, is this issue be left on purpose? Because if this issue exists, any new user would be blocked at the time of initialization a new company, without statement cycle definitions nobody can proceed. So? Is it a little trick here that would allow consultant to step in? If my guess is wrong, this issue shall better be

Some Features/Module missing

Hello Everyone, Would there be a reason why some of the features/module is missing in my installation of Acumatica? Has this got to do with licensing etc.? Outlook Add-in in web?

Has anyone had success using the Acumatica add-in with Outlook web version? It works great in the desktop Outlook, but haven’t had success in web version. A year ago I installed it and signed in, but could never get it to do anything. Now when reinstalling I can’t even sign in, just spins. The company I’m assisting has many employees that don’t have license to have Outlook installed, so they use web. Any insight appreciated!

Now… I have customers running Acumatica on physical servers who want to virtualise their Acumatica environment. Do customization in 2 tenants with same database

Hi,We are working on a environment Acumatica Cloud ERP 2021 R2 with 2 tenant: Production and TEST but it only has 1 database. It leads to whenever we publish the customization on TEST environment, the Production is overwritten also.Hence, we want to clone it to a locally environment (install windows server on pc then install Acumatica 2021 R2). What do you think about this option?Beside that, I have some concerns:Is it possible to access Acumatica Cloud Database to clone it then import to my local environment? If I export all project customization on Production and import it to new environment (my local environment), Will the customization between them be the same? Install Acumatica 2021 R2 on a local machine needs license, doesn’t it?Thank you for your help.
