Hi,We are working on a environment Acumatica Cloud ERP 2021 R2 with 2 tenant: Production and TEST but it only has 1 database. It leads to whenever we publish the customization on TEST environment, the Production is overwritten also.Hence, we want to clone it to a locally environment (install windows server on pc then install Acumatica 2021 R2). What do you think about this option?Beside that, I have some concerns:Is it possible to access Acumatica Cloud Database to clone it then import to my local environment? If I export all project customization on Production and import it to new environment (my local environment), Will the customization between them be the same? Install Acumatica 2021 R2 on a local machine needs license, doesn’t it?Thank you for your help.
I’d like to setup Multi-factor authentication for all users in our tenant. I see options for sending an email or SMS but I would prefer using an authenticator app such as Microsoft Authenticator. Is this possible and I’m just not finding how to set this up?
We install 2020 R1 and ran into a security issue with the release. Users did not have to enter passwords to enter the site, also they could enter anyone’s id in the user field and get in as that person.Acumatica has a suggestion about turning off the “Guest Account” in AD. They also have produced a Hot Fix for us that we are implementing 106.0010. Anyone using Windows AD in 2020 Rx, may want to check out if they have a similar issue. Then if so get together with your VAR to address it.
I have DeviceHub configured successfully with printers, but when I add a usb scale it exceeds the API request limit all on its own after a minute or two. Seems like devicehub is updating the SMScale table with the scale weight, but then forgetting to log itself out after??Does anyone have any ideas? TY!!
I’ve been evaluating Acumatica for several months using a local instance. I tried to launch it today and it timed out saying the website was not available. I tried launching it from the IIS Manager. It is in the default application pool. Trying to browse to the AcumaticaERP web site fails. The application pool is running. Perhaps a necessary service is not running on my computer, I’m not sure. So I thought maybe I should try to reinstall Acumatica from the beginning. I downloaded AcumaticaERPInstall.msi and tried to run it, but I got an error that Acumatica ERP and Acumatica Tools cannot be installed on the same computer. I have no idea what that means.UPDATE: I was able to fix the installation by running the Windows Application in the Start menu called Acumatica ERP Configuration.

Hi,I had a small customisation project which was working on 2020R2 but seems to have stopped working on 2021R1The workflow for Shipments (SO3020000) would change the shipment date on the shipment document to todays date when the shipment was confirmedAttached is screenshot of the workflow, I have tried with =Today() and checked the from schema box to use @Today but neither work. I have a custom user role that is not allowing the users to send emails for RFI’s or Submittals. I have added delete privileges to this role under Hidden->Email Activity but I still get the following error when attempting to send emails. You have insufficient rights to access the object (PJ661000). Is there a way to set object permission by using the object ID?
Hello! When we attach a PDF to a record (i.e. invoice, sales order, whatever) it shows in the file browser as a .pdf file extension.When you open the file for viewing, Acumatica seems to be serving it as an .ashx. Does anyone know if there is a way to get Acumatica to serve the PDF to us? ASHX does not work well at all on Mac OS
I am trying to setup Audit History on the Access Rights by Role form. I have the Audit form configured and active. When I view the Audit History on the Access Rights by Role I am not seeing the changes that were made to the role. I am receiving the dialogue box that appears when audit is not setup? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..coleen
I have a site operating 10 companies within one tenant. They want to send their invoices /statements from an email address relating to the relevant company. Within the notification template they can only set one email account which is not company specific. Anyone came across this with a solution ?
Easy way for a field in a grid entry screen to prefill down from the prior row? For example user is entering PO items and would like the project ID to prefill down for each line after they select the project in the first row?
Hello Everyone, Would there be a reason why some of the features/module is missing in my installation of Acumatica? Has this got to do with licensing etc.? HI ✋I set approval for SO with every SO type of BM after REMOVE HOLD will be needed to APPROVE before going to the next step.But after APPROVE, the button CREATE SHIPMENT is disabled and I can't go to the next step.Please advise if you know how to set it up correctly.Thank you
Hi, I am having an issue with the ‘W(n)’ value in the URL generated by Acumatica.For reference, this is a sample URL https://domain/AcumaticaInstanceName/(W(n))/Main?ScreenId= AR3010PL Basically, when clicking a shared filter KPI widget on a Dashboard, the system opens the Generic Inquiry in a new tab, however the W(n) value is always the same and the shared filter that is opened is the same as when the user clicks the first filter. I am aware that this value is used for caching purposes, however I cant understand why its not incrementing such that the correct shared filter is opened. Has anyone had experience with such issues please? If so, can you please advise what can be done to sort such issues? Thanks,Nigel Pace
Hi - we recently switched from Paya to Acumatica Payments/Fortis for our payment processor. With Paya, we could generate payment links automatically when the invoice is released. The team from Acumatica Payments said we could likely set up a business event to do this as well, but I’m not sure what all that would involve. Does anyone have experience setting this up themselves?
