This webinar will focus on some of the do’s and don’ts of publishing, creating actions and conditions, adding new fields, modifying workflows, combining customizations and business events, and understanding the makeup of a screen. Tips and tricks will be sprinkled throughout.Presented by David Gross @dgross About David: I have been an Acumatica business consultant and implementation specialist since 2018. My areas of expertise include Distribution, Manufacturing, Field Service, CRM, and Ecommerce to name a few. I can create complicated GI’s and Reports (ARM and regular) and I am able to guide my clients through complicated needs assessment and create the solutions required to satisfy those business needs. My interest in customizations was borne out of necessity and sustained by curiosity. The more I am able to do without contracting a developer the better, and I am happy to share what I have learned (through much trial and error) so others can feel less intimidated and more empowered.P

How would you use Acumatica to track the cost of goods issued to a customer over the course of a year or more where the customer is billed monthly for services and stock items?Would you use projects? Service Contracts? Contracts? SP orders or Service orders? Or a combination of those features? Projects seems to be the only module that Acumatica advertises the ability to track cost and gross profit but it seems overkill for standard contractual businesses. It also doesn’t track cost in the cost budget from SP orders without some decent upfront configuration and maintenance of that configuration. Service Contracts/Service Orders doesn’t have the extensive report functionality that projects does and it doesn’t appear to have the ability to track the costs of issued materials from that service order on the service contract to get a good gross profit number the contracts module doesn't seem to allow the sale or issuance of stock items at all but it does seem to have all of the other functio

It’s great to have you as part of the Acumatica Community @joelhoffman!Hi everyone, I’m Joel Hoffman, Director of Product Management for Construction at Acumatica. I have been with Acumatica almost 6 years.Since graduating high school and thinking that “these computers may go somewhere”, I have been part of the technical community. As an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, where I have been a season ticket holder for more than 35 years, fall brings a

Being an Acumatica MVP is more than a title to me—it's an acknowledgment of Revive's company-wide culture of innovation, teamwork, and dedication. I oversee our corporate services at Revive—from finance and legal to HR.When I'm not running Revive, I'm probably running to vet appointments. I'm deeply involved in a cause that's close to my heart. I foster and care for special needs and hospice pups. My six fur babies at home are just the start of my lifelong mission to give every dog a second chance. Beyond work and dogs, I'm a huge Star Wars Superfan (yes, I've won the Star Wars Superfan contest three times on Disney Cruises!) and a dedicated supporter of my beloved Chicago Bears. I'm lucky to share my life—and my love for humanity's best friend—with my incredible wife and best friend, Becky. Thanks for stopping by to get to know me. I'm always open to new connections and op
