My name is Django Dunn. I'm the son of a luthier, so I was named after the famous Belgian guitarist.
I started off in the world of accounting software back in the days of DOS doing technical support for a third-party add-in vendor. I haven't looked back.
I've worked with ACCPAC Plus, Navision, and Sage 300 ERP. And now, Acumatica, which is my favourite so far.
I enjoy the creativity that this job provides even when it might seem like I'm doing the same thing for a different client. I've been working with Acumatica for the last five years and my first project was to build a way for the client to be able to manage and report on tariffs they needed to collect and remit.
I've been building customizations for NextLevel Information Solutions for almost twenty years, providing solutions for a wide array of business sectors, sizes, and complexities. I feel lucky to have found a career that I truly enjoy.
I've always been a big fan of having an active community for technical support and advice and Acumatica has done a great job of building and fostering one. I'm happy to help out, offering suggestions, a sounding board, and the occasional right answer. So it’s an honour to be selected this month.
When I'm not publishing customizations, you might find me at home working on my writing, or you might find me on my next road trip with my co-pilot in life, my fiancée Wendy.
