I know there is a customization to publish for add apply retainage for AR Invoices and Memos but what do you need to do for AP Bills? The apply retainage button is not available right now in migration mode and I need this ASAP!

Prepare tax report -wrong future period

I try to file the 1st sales tax in Acumatica, but it always auto-updated with future tax period while the old period is still open. Ie: I tried to close HST return period from Mar 01-May 31 2023, but system always give me the HST period for Aug 2023. I tried reset the tax period. It didn’t work. Could you advise how should I do to proceed the May HST report. Thank you.

AP Prepare Payment - According to the company, instead of branch selection

Hi Everyone. One of our dedicated customer have 200+ branches. AP Bill generating individually, according to the branches. Customer will process payment from “Prepare Payment” Screen, can only select the branches only. As per their current practice they will do prepare payment by company not by branches. At one-time payment process for 20-25 vendors. Its very difficult to do from the screen. Is there any other work around or suggestion, please let me know. Many Thanks Ram

Customer Not Showing up in Customer Profiles

I have an issue where I have a customer setup. Orders have been placed shipped and invoiced in the system. Yet for some reason when I go to Receivable>Customers they are not listed in that profile. I can pull up the invoice and access Customer Details through the invoice, but I am unable to pull up the customer in the Customer Profiles.Below is a screen shot of an open invoice as well as the Customer Profile screen with the customer number in the search in the top right with no results. Any idea’s why this is happening? Seen this in another instance as well.

Multi-Branch Budget

Our company has multiple branches, so it would be nice to be able to upload all branches at the same time (P&L and Balance Sheet). Has anybody found a simple way to do this? We also have Velixo, but haven’t tried the writeback capability out of concern of not fully understanding it yet. Thank you in advance!

Create Refund check for AR customer

Good morning,I know this has been discussed on other forums in the past and hopefully there is a resolution at this point...however I am just seeing if there is a more sufficient/quicker method to use to get refund checks for AR customers?My company is still fairly new to Acumatica, so bare with me if my step by step process is either confusing or cumbersome. Please advise! :) Right now, I currently do:Verify customer orders are complete and credit is available Extend customer as an AP vendor through AR customer maintenance screen Create a Cash Purchase in AP to reflect check I’ll be cutting (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL Account) Prepare/Print Checks Release Printed Checks Create a Debit Memo/Credit Write off in AR to offset credit available (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL account)

Default Location Subaccount not pulling into new Customer locations

Happy Friday, We are currently experiencing an interesting issue that the Freight and Freight Subaccount is not pulling in from the Default Customer Location (which pulled it from the customer class/customer).Here the Default Location:Here the New Location with the Checkbox same as Default marked: Not quite sure where I would find a setting or how would troubleshoot this. Cannot find anything in Receivables, Sales Order or CRM Preferences.Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Customer wants to build a prototype product using Production Job. Once all the cost accumulated on the Job, what is the best way to transfer it to Fixed Asset? is there any way to transfer Inventory Items to asset register/module?any better way i.e using Project to build the Prototype and Moving to asset register?

Sub Account Segments in GI

When having to select segment 2 of a subaccount , linked to the Employee master, the logical step would be to add the default location ( For vendor) and then link that to GL.Sub. Even when using substring/ left/ right , the result is blank. Fortunately , there are a DAC that already has this info: Employee (EPEmployee)And I am sure the DAC’s exist for other business accounts where this is required

Fixed asset - depreciation expense allocations

Hi, I have a customer that wants to expense depreciation to multiple subaccounts when depreciation is calculated and released. The only way I know how to do this is by creating an allocation in the financial module to allocate the expenses to the correct subaccounts. Has anyone else know of another way to allocate the expenses to the proper subaccounts, the customer is not on board with the allocation method. Thanks,Coleen

Dismiss not needed transactions from "Generate Intercompany Documents" screen

I’m a user of 2020 R2. I noticed that in the “Generate Intercompany Documents” screen (AP503500) - it shows all historic eligible transaction here, but i don’t see a button to dismiss the transactions that i will never ever need. What this does is creates a giant backlog of transactions which Acumatica thinks are ready to generate intercompany tranactions that won’t ever be used. This makes the navigation in that screen hard. is there a way to dismiss the unneeded transaction candidates if not, does anyone think introducing the “hide” functionality might be a good idea?

Printing customer invoices to mail

Our salespeople quite often print a copy of an invoice to hand to the customer as they leave with their product. This seems to create an issue where that invoice will not show up to print for mailing to the customer’s accounts payable dept for payment in the Print Invoices and Memos process.Has anyone come up with a solution to this? It seems to relate to the checkbox that the invoice has been printed.Thank you!

Using Imports to Reconcile Fixed Assets

We have client with a large volume of FA additions every month (hundreds). We are looking for a way to automate, by import scenario or other method, to reconcile the unreconciled FA Accrual records to their corresponding purchases. The Convert Purchases to Assets processing screen is not an option as it’s too manual for the client’s montly volume and does not appear to support the ability to select records effectively (there are no references to a specific index value for selection). We’re looking at potentially creating a transaction screen that will specifically support the ability to run an import to associate purchases with newly created assets, but I would like to exhaust other options first. Has anyone else encountered this dilema? If so, how did you solve it?

New product idea for AP Document Recognition - please vote

I discovered that AP Document Recognition will do 3 way match if only a single line in the invoice, however it fails to match on additional lines with different POs. For companies that receive invoices with many lines for many POs, this functionality is critical.Please vote for this product idea.Thanks,David Eichner, CPA

Open Prepayment from previous year

We have open prepayment from last year. Check has been cleared from the bank. It looks like the accountant didn’t know how to adjust with bill and they adjusted payment without clearing prepayment. Now I cannot void, the check number linked is reconciled and closed. How can i adjust this prepayment and cleared it from open A/P? Thank you,Shankar
