Adding a Vendor with GL Account Data via REST API

I’m attempting to add a new Vendor via the REST API. I receive the error:DiscTakenAcctID: 'Cash Discount Account' cannot be emptyThis is a required field located under the GL Accounts tab. However, the field does not appear when getting the list of Vendors via the REST API. How should the JSON be structured to include this field when adding a new Vendor via the REST API?

External Reference field not working on report

Noob question, I apologise in advance.On a sales order I have these two fields that I am trying to add to a report. I reference the first field in a report with=[SOOrder.CustomerOrderNbr]and it works perfectly.However, I reference the 2nd field in a report with=[SOOrder.ExtRefNbr]and it produces an empty column.If that field isn’t ExtRefNbr, how can I determine the field ID?thanks.

How to round down the Qty to supply on Prepare Replenishment

Does anyone know how to make the Qty to Supply field in Prepare Replenishment round down? Currently any decimal amounts for parts with a UOM of ‘EACH’ is round up to the nearest whole amount. We would like it to round down. Is there a way to do this?

Hello - we recently added a new GL and made that our main cash account. This has thrown off the reporting on our cash position dashboard widget. How do I add this new GL to the GI from which this widget is pulling data? Displaying a field from the profitability tab on the service order list screen

I would like to display the Profit Magin % on the page that list all the service orders. I tried adding the FS.FSProfitability table and pulling the field to appear on the results grid in the Service Order GI. Since these fields are listed as “not in the database”, I get an error. Can anyone provide some guidance?

baseMethod in Action Override Overrode is null

Hello All,I have done action override a hundred times but I am facing an issue in Close Action of ServiceOrder that I am not sure why is happening. The problem is the "baseMethod" has a null value and as a result, I get an error that "An unhandled exception has occurred in the function 'MoveNext'. Please see the trace log for more details." Without this piece of customization, it is working just fine. Please note I have other stuff so that I am calling Base1 and Base2 in addition to the Base in my graph extension. Here is the part of the code relevant to the issue. issue has occurred when publishing customizations

Hi all,we have 3 tenants in our erp instance as below.Company (prod) uat2 test instanceout of these three, company tenant is being used as the production while other two tenants for testing purposes. Normally, We do our customizations into uat2 tenant, after testing and if it is ok, we publish the customizations into multiple tenants from uat2 to be applied them in the other tenants as well. We have done some customizations recently only for the uat2 tenant, but never published it to other tenants. However, without publishing from uat2 to all tenants, some of customizations have been applied in the company tenant as well. The issue is how it can be happened without giving ‘publish into multiple tenants’ from uat2? Can someone provide me a solution on this?Thank you.

System will go into maintenance mode - Time Zone other than UTC

Does anyone know how to get the “System will go into maintenance mode” message on the login screen to display a Time Zone other than UTC? I did the following: 1. Scheduled a Lockout for 6:00pm on 6/13/2023 using the Apply Updates (SM203510) screen (1st screenshot below)2. The Login Time Zone on the Site Preferences (SM200505) screen is set to (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (2nd screenshot below)3. But the message on the login screen only shows 10:00pm UTC; it doesn’t show 6:00pm Eastern Time (3rd screenshot below) Is there a way to get the message on the login screen to show 6:00pm Eastern Time?

Adding Document Discount to SO Import Scenario

Hello,trying to add a document level discount to a SO Import Scenario where the SO could have multiple lines. Not sure exactly where to put the discount in order of operations, but i’ve been trying to follow the order of tabs in SO screen. I have also tried to put the discount above the ‘line details’. In this example the SO will have 2 lines, and i’m getting following error on the 2nd row (this example puts the discount after the ‘line details’ are entered - see XML): I have attached the XML for reference. Vendor Consigned Inventory in Acumatica.

We are currently working with a client who wants to configure a vendor-consigned workflow in Acumatica using the out-of-the-box functionality. However, we have encountered a challenge in setting up the workflow due to the accounting treatment of consigned inventory usage. When the vendor's consigned stock is consumed in a production order, the system creates a Journal Entry that hits the Cost of Goods Sold account. But when we subsequently bill the vendor for the inventory used, the Accounts Payable bill also hits an expense account, resulting in a double recording of the cost. Any suggestions on how to manage such a scenario in Acumatica.

I received good advice about how I could create a custom field to display the total hours for each day of the week in the time card screen. As you can see below, I thought I got it to work properly; however, I keep running into an error message: Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Sat: Specified cast is not valid.. Only display some available values in case class ID selector

I am very new to customizations in Acumatica. I was wondering if it’s possible to only display certain values in a selector. For example, I would only like to display 3 out of the 9 possible values below as we would like to deprecate some of them. I’m assuming this has to be done with changes to the code, maybe a graph extension, but I have not made customizations through code changes before so I’m not sure how to approach this. If anyone has some example code for something similar, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a multi-tier approval map set up by the amount of the Bill. Everything that I am reading says that Prepayments should generate an approval but mine doesn’t until it is applied to the Bill. Can we not use approval maps for Prepayments?

How to set the date parameter to filter by two dates so that when one date is not available filter by other date?

There is a custom report created by me. It contains two columns as Invoiced Date and Document date. I want to filter the report by using these date fields. First priority goes to Invoiced date. If there is no Invoiced date filtration should be happened with the Document Date. And again If there is both Invoiced date and document dates filtration should be occurred by the invoiced date. Please check the below images.Start Date, End Date parameters 1st attempt by me1st attempt result2nd attempt methodI tried it in several ways in the Filters section of the report designer. But it did not work. In the first method, filtration occurred, but the priority was on the Document date although there was an invoiced date. In the 2nd method, an error message popped up as no Invoice date field found.So can you please give me guidance to fulfill this requirement? Thank you.

Error: 'NavigationScreenLineNbr' cannot be empty

I am going through the S130 Data Retrieval and Analysis, second lesson. We are going through setting up the Navigation Targets and Parameters. There are three Navigation Targets, AP303000 - Vendors,AR303000 - Customers, and CR303000 - Business Accounts. The Window Mode is Side Panel for all three. Selecting any of the Navigation Targets, such as the AP303000 - Vendors, Navigation Parameters is set for AcctCD, Parameter BAccount.AcctCD has been set, Icon is the directions car (all set up in accordance with the video). When I attempt to save my work, an error pops up stating:Error: ‘NavigationScreenLineNbr’ cannot be empty.

Branch Split Open AR Transfer

Hi!Branch A open AR is moving to a new Branch B; Branch A will become inactive and Branch B will contain part of another Branch C that will stay active.We use an Open AR import in migration mode to move the AR, but unsure whether Branch A open AR will be closed out when migrated to Branch B or will we need to do something on our end for that? Team thinks we might have to do a customer payment for the open AR and then clear the balance from the Branch A bank account to Branch B AR, but would like to know if that’s the best path?Either way, we will test in sandbox before executing in production.We are running Acumatica 2021 R2, Build 21.212.0039 customized with ProcoreBuiltCustomizationPackage2021R2V4, VelixoConnectedAppConfig, VelixoLiteDACsThank you,Dave Z
