Is it possible to change a custom user-defined field to utilize an auto-numbering sequence?For example, I have the following user-defined fields:Receipt Selector:Acknowledgement Receipt Collection ReceiptThen I have another user-defined field:Ref. Number: An auto-number generated based on the selected receipt.
Something has changed with my site maps or with access rights. On some customization projects in the details I only see “SCREENS” in the left navigation. When I add a new project then save a Screen all navigation items besides “SCREENS” disappear. Any ideas as to why?Here is before save: And, immediately after saving:
Remove WMSHEADER Table in 2024 R1 - What is the replacement of this table?
I added some custom columns to SOOrder in a customization project (under Database scripts) and they’ve been created in my database correctly in the SOOrder table. I’m also able to view/modify these columns in the PXCachExtension with my C# code. However, when I run a SQL query in SOOrder on these new columns, they always return as NULL.Question: How do I save updates to these new fields in the database?I’ve tried the following without luck: Base.Document.Update(Base.Document.Current); Base.Document.Cache.Update(Base.Document.Current);
Hi I want to modify the Parent Lot/ Serial Nbr to only show selector records where the value is greater than 0 in remaining quantity.I’ve tried to modify the selector using this approach below and it does not filter as expected.[PXSelector( typeof(Search<INLotSerialStatus.lotSerialNbr, Where<INLotSerialStatus.qtyOnHand, Greater<decimal0>>>),Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
what is the formula for counting the RefNbr based on Tran.Typefor example i choose CRM the count will be two=Count([ARTran.RefNbr ]) it is not working
Dear Experts,I need to insert “Upload Excel file button” on Requisition’s detail screen, It’s always showing all requisition detail at details tab, when create a new Requisition doc. Below is the Code, In Aspx:AllowUpload=true for details gridIn Graph Extension:namespace PX.Objects.RQ{ public class RQRequisitionEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<PX.Objects.RQ.RQRequisitionEntry> { [PXImport(typeof(RQRequisitionLine))] [PXViewName(Messages.RQRequisitionLine)] [PXCopyPasteHiddenView] public PXSelect<RQRequisitionLine, Where<RQRequisitionLine.reqNbr, Equal<Current<RQRequisition.reqNbr>>>, OrderBy<Asc<RQRequisitionLine.reqNbr, Asc<RQRequisitionLine.lineNbr>>>> Lines; }} Can anyone suggest on this to import / update all lines in detail grid. Thanks in advance. Cheers,Iko
I've encountered a couple situations recently where I needed to extend an action where a PXLongOperation was running and do something after it was completed. I can use PXLongOperation.WaitCompletion(Base.UID) to wait for it to finish, but it seems to break the operation (the processing indicator doesn’t appear until the operation is complete). I think this makes sense, since it's blocking the UI thread until the background thread is complete.What is the proper way to execute additional code after a PXLongOperation is “finished” without blocking the UI thread?
There is a requirement to dynamically enable and disable an action button in the grid toolbar based on a column value in the grid. If there are multiple lines in the grid, the action button should be enabled for some lines and disabled for others.How can I implement this?Any detailed instructions, tips, or code snippets would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi fellow developers. I’ve been doing Acumatica dev since 2019. I am a “lone ranger”, which means I don’t have fellow associates to run things by when I don’t know the best way (or any way) to do a particular “thing”. Thank God for this forum. I’d have quit a long time ago without it. However, I just finished a project that involved working with Attributes on the Projects screen. I have custom fields on the screen that are Key Performance Indicators and they are calculations based on 3 sources: one of my own custom fields on the PMProject DAC, a field in the Summary tab (PMProjectRevenueTotal DAC), and Attributes in the Attributes tab.For this one, I have to wait until ALL data has been loaded into the Views. Due to the really unusual way that Attributes are loaded, I cannot use the “appropriate” events to trigger my calculations. Based on my skill set, I can find only one way to do it and it is primarily done in the RowSelected handler, not for the primary DAC on the extension
@Dmitrii Naumov - can you send this to whomever needs to see it?I was looking at the SOAddress table and noticed the field length on the PostalCode field. Might be excessive. Edit: There’s probably a good reason for this. SOAddress’ fields are all 2500 nvarchars.
Hi all , How can we add Branch ID column to the Grid on Approve Bills for Payment ?
On the Projects screen, I want to do some work when the Contract Total changes.In the project editor, I generated the extension for the FieldUpdated event on this field. This is the signature that was created. protected void PMProject_ProjectRevenueTotals.CuryAmount_FieldUpdated(PXCache cache, PXFieldUpdatedEventArgs e) I moved this code from the project editor to my VS project. I got compiler errors. I changed the signature to: protected void PMProject_ProjectRevenueTotals_CuryAmount_FieldUpdated(PXCache cache, PXFieldUpdatedEventArgs e) It compiles and I get no errors on the screen.However, when click Include CO, the value in the field changes to 12,500. I was hoping my extension would fire but it does not.I set CommitChanges to true for the field but it still does not fire.Any ideas on how I can trigger an event to fire when the value in the field changes?
Hi,In shipments screen Details Grid, I added Upload button and trying to update Existing data through Excel, It updating for only first line. Not updating for remaining lines.Below is the Code I gaveIn Aspx: AllowUpload=true for details gridIn Graph Extension:[PXImport(typeof(SOShipLine))] [PXViewName(Messages.SOShipLine)] public PXSelect<SOShipLine, Where<SOShipLine.shipmentNbr, Equal<Current<SOShipment.shipmentNbr>>>, OrderBy<Asc<SOShipLine.shipmentNbr, Asc<SOShipLine.sortOrder>>>> Transactions;Can anyone suggest on this to update all lines in grid.
I want to add a 'Project' filter to the Calendar Board screen (FS300300), as shown in the image. I’ve searched and only found information on modifying the Service Orders bar, but I haven’t found anything related to the Dashboard in my case.
Hey guys, this is my first time playing around with views for a generic inquiry we will be requiring for a new legislation coming in.I have used the view in a GI and it has given me the error: ‘Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Base Item Weight: Specified cast is not valid.’.This is my view:CREATE VIEW CBAMCalculator ASSELECT Inv.CompanyID, TranLine.DocType, TranLine.BatNbr, Inv.InventoryID, Orders.OrderNbr, Line.LineNbr, Inv. I want to conditionally hide a tab in the Production Order Maintenance form. To achieve this, I followed Option 1 in the following Acumatica Community Portal article.https://community.acumatica.com/customization-tools-and-framework-245/how-to-conditionally-hide-a-tab-on-the-entry-form-4310First, I created an unbound DAC in the AMProdItemExt DAC as follows. #region UsrCustomField01 [PXBool()] [PXUIField(DisplayName="Custom Field", Visible = false)] [PXDefault(false)] public virtual bool? UsrCustomField01 { get; set; } public abstract class usrCustomField01 : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<usrCustomField01> { }Now, I want to change the value of the UsrcustomField01 based on a field in the Stock Items screen. This field is also custom field in the InventoryItemExt DAC.I tried using event handlers, PXFormula, and PXDefault, but it didn't work.We can create a connection between the AMProdItem and InventoryItem DACs using the InventoryID fields of both DACs.
Hello Community, I have added a custom unbound field to APInvoice DAC. I see the field in the “Result Grid” of the Generic Inquiry I want to design and it shows the result as I expect. My problem is I do not see this field in the "Condition" and "Grouping" tabs of Generic Inquiry Design. I have other custom bound fields which are shown in these two tabs. Am I missing something or Acumatica doesn’t show the unbound fields in these two tabs and if ths is the case any idea why? Im testing on 2023R2 23.206.0006
Hello, I need to present data received from a REST call from an external source. Most probably using PXGrid. My understanding is that I need an unbound DAC class to provide the data to the grid.But I can’t find any documentation how to define the unbound DAC class and how to fill it with the data.Thank you for any hint.
Hello All, I have a custom screen that is built with a grid and allows deleting the row of the grid when a condition is met. I have had this code (sample below) for a while which worked fine but when the same code was upgraded to 24 R1 it stopped displaying the delete button on the row entirely. Can you please point out what could have changed with 24 R1? This code is both in the RowSelected of the header DAC and grid DAC:if (true) {this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowInsert =this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowUpdate =this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowDelete = false;View.AllowDelete = false;View.AllowInsert = false;View.AllowUpdate = false;}else {this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowInsert =this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowUpdate =this.Caches[typeof(DAC)].AllowDelete = true;View.AllowDelete = true;View.AllowInsert = true;View.AllowUpdate = true;}
We wants to hide Create Payment button on sales order base on Finance TermsIn sales order we have Create Payment toolbar button This should be hide if Financial terms = PP (Pre Payment) I cannot able to access button in graph. So I try to add condition but I don’t know how to access in action. But this is not working.Can anyone suggest changes?
Hi,I wanted to localize acumatica into another language. I followed steps in the below blog post and attempted to accomplish it in my local instance.https://asiablog.acumatica.com/2018/01/how-to-translate-acumatica.htmlHowever, in translation dictionaries, the operation is already completed but the string file is not downloaded to translate.I tried again by clicking collect strings but the string file wasn’t downloaded. I tested this in my local instance. Was that the issue or will there be another reason for that? Can someone help me with this?Thank you.
How would I go about updating user defined fields programmatically?I can’t find any examples or any documentation on how to do this. Found a post showing the below, but I need to update UDF fields on IN Issue, IN transfer and IN Receipts, and none of them has Answers view. // iterate attributes on case to set valuesvar answers = caseGraph.Answers.Select();using (var ts = new PXTransactionScope()){ foreach (CSAnswers att in answers) { if (att.AttributeID == "MYATTRIB") { att.Value = "My attribute value"; } } caseGraph.Answers.Cache.Update(answers); caseGraph.Task.Cache.Update(caseGraph.Case); caseGraph.Actions.PressSave(); ts.Complete();}
When I add a field to the ts PXView I get the following error. Sequence contains more than one matching elementAll other fields work as expected except the Template field. I am assuming it has something to do with the PXSelector but am not sure. Below is the PXView def@gridConfig({ preset: GridPreset.Details, syncPosition: true})export class Inspections extends PXView { CreateInspection: PXActionState; DocDate: PXFieldState; ProjectTask: PXFieldState; InspectionCD: PXFieldState; Template: PXFieldState;} snippet from DAC defining template #region Template [PXDBInt] [PXDefault(PersistingCheck = PXPersistingCheck.Nothing)] [PXForeignReference(typeof(FK.Template))] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Type", Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible, Required = true)] [PXSelector( typeof(Search2<GPProjectInspectionTemplate.templateID, LeftJoin<GPProjectInspectionTemplateAssociations, On<GPProject
So one of our customers has a customization where we added a field for them. They will need to upgrade to the newest version of Acumatica soon. All this customization did was add a field to an AP window. How is that customization field data stored in the database? Could it be lost during an upgrade? Just want to make sure I have a good understanding of this before giving them the go ahead.
