Hi,Appologies if this question is not clear, I am still learning -- I am trying to extend the SOOrderEntry graph and need to create a SelectFrom query that uses as a parameter the OrderNbr of the Sales Order that is currently opened by the user for editing. I started using user defined fields instead of creating data fields in my customization project.  I created about 20 fields and added them to the Contacts form.  I don’t want to see them on the UDF tab that gets automatically generated, so I made them all Hidden.  Then, I went into my customization and added them to a new tab I created.  Everything works so far.  I also recently started working on creating Business Events.  I want to be able to check for value changes in one of my UDFs.  But I don’t see the fields on the Trigger Conditions options.  Is there something I need to do so I can use those fields in my trigger logic?

tengo un filtro con 7 campos en un FormTab, después de capturar y guardar la información en su tabla correspondiente, la que se encuentra en dos grids, requiero restaurar solo 3 campos del filtro para dejar fijos 4 y solo seleccionar la información de esos 3 campos del filtro, ¿existe alguna forma o instrucción para limpiar solo esos 3 campos del filtro, después de haber guardado la información en la tabla ?, como se muestra en la imagen.

I tried to create an attribute and then a UDF for a custom field I need to add to the Contact form.  I created a custom project, I created the new field (as a string of length 10) and I added it to the Contacts form.  By Default, everything works fine.  It’s a string field and I am able to enter and save values.  However, I want to change it to a combo box so I can restrict the user’s entries.  In my custom project, I go to “customize” the attributes and I use the following:[PXDBString(10)][PXStringList(new string[] {"N", "P", "Y"}, new string[] {"No", "Pending", "Yes"})][PXUIField(DisplayName="Status")]It always gives me a TextEdit.  Am I missing a line of code?In the past, I have created the new field as an Integer and used the following code:[PXDBInt][PXIntList(new int[] {1, 2, 3}, new string[] {"No", "Pending", "Yes"})][PXUIField(DisplayName="Status")]This works and I could do this but I’m trying to keep the values as string and not integers.

Hi,i have few custom fields in InventoryItem DAC and using those fields in both template and stock item screen.When matrix items are generated data is copied to those fields from Template to generated items. Hi All, In the code snippet below, how do I access the value for the field TranCost? I can’t get to it using row.tranCost. How do I check for a data type in the generic inquiry screen? Like iif( ISNUMBER([FIELD]), True Path, False Path)I have an Inventory Item Attribute that USUALLY holds an integer value. I wish to do math on this value when it is an integer, but when it is a text string it crashes the report. If I could do some kind of error checking like in Excel, I can force this to work by using IIF to ignore non-integer values.

Hi,I am customizing Approval Map concept for New Customized screen.I am getting solution for one-step approval, But not Multi-level Approval. To get Multi-Level Approval, Do I need to give any extra conditions/Additional code other than Single step approval logic??Thanks.

I have 4 checkboxes and if I select any the others must be deselected. I'm using each one's FieldUpdate property, but it only works with Internal Budget with Vendor # 1, # 2, # 3 and # 4 not working.I show an example of how I am using the Field Updated event.InternalBudget FieldUpdatedVendor_1 FieldUpdated Enable commit changes property for each field but only works with InternalBudget. I have the following requirement: the phase codes field cannot be repeated.My validation already works but the data must be saved in the DB previously.The problem is when the user enters N number of rows (without saving before) that is when my validation does not work.This is how I currently do the validation (Row_Updated event). It works, but the data has to be saved in the DB before.Can you help me please. I think it should take data from the grid (cache) but I don't know how to do it.
