I have installed Acumatica on dozens of laptops running Windows 10 without any issues. I’ve tried installing it on Windows 12 Server and Windows 19 Server and whilst it installs I cannot login to the site.I’ve tried it with the database on the same server or a different server, running the site on port 80 or 443 using different browsers, but everything ends up generating the same error.After entering the default username and password (admin, setup), press enter, after a few minutes it errors:
There is a default Physical Inventory reason code in Inventory Preferences. I have approximately 20 different Physical Inventory Types generated by Item Class. When you select “GENERATE PI” in “Prepare Physical Count” it always pulls the default reason code from Inventory Preferences. I need a different reason code for each of the Item Class Inventory Types. Does anyone know if there is a way to set this up so you don’t have to change the default reason code every time before selecting “GENERATE PI” (in “Prepare Physical Count”) ?
When my company users login they get a home page that is not my company’s. The company’s home page has been setup in site settings and in all users profiles. However, it does not show up when login in. Instead a “generic” acumatica page shows up. The user has to click on the company logo (Upper left corner) to launch my company’s page. Users are finding this very invasive! We need help asap!
Could you please provide any suggestions for the following scenario?To restore the database locally, I have tested the following options. The size of the database is over 25GB, and the versions of Acumatica and the database match. I created a folder under the Acumatica installation directory, assuming it is located at C:\Program Files\Acumatica\Database\Data\NewFolder. I extracted the contents of the exported snapshot's .zip file into the newly created folder. After that, I run the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard. During the Tenant Setup step, I selected the option with the name of the folder (NewFolder) that I had created. However, some errors occurred during the installation, such as 'Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'GLTran_PK'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.GLTran'. In 2020 R2, I can't figure out how to allow users to able to see Update History (Tools...Audit History) without also being able to click on the Enable Field Level Audit button. I would like users to see update history and not be able to do any Enabling. The Field Level Audit role allows the Audit History item to show on the Tools menu but I can't see where I can control the Enable button.
Does anyone have an efficient way to grant a user view only access to the entire database?Thinking of an external auditor or a C-Level client, who wants to be able to poke around, but should not be able to create/modify/delete anything.Outside of creating a role and then clicking on every single form and saying view only.Hoping someone has come up with something more efficient!Thank you!

I have DeviceHub configured successfully with printers, but when I add a usb scale it exceeds the API request limit all on its own after a minute or two. Seems like devicehub is updating the SMScale table with the scale weight, but then forgetting to log itself out after??Does anyone have any ideas? TY!!
Hello， I always get Acumatica installation package from http://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/From version 2018 to the latest 2020R2 version， every version is having a same minor issue which happened on “Statement cycle” screen. (I am just wondering nobody else report this issue before? It exists in every package.)The issue is caused by the incorrect code writing in AR202800.aspx, like below: The right writing should be <px:PXLabel ID="Dash1" runat="server">?</px:PXLabel> Yes, I can fix this issue quickly by myself, however, if every time after any upgrading I have to fix it again and again, I feel frustrated. Sorry to ask, is this issue be left on purpose? Because if this issue exists, any new user would be blocked at the time of initialization a new company, without statement cycle definitions nobody can proceed. So? Hello,Just a heads-up about a potential issue when using MS Active Directory in Acumatica 19.211.0011.The way the integration works can be summarised as follows: You map AD groups to Acumatica roles (in Acumatica); When a domain user connects to Acumatica for the first time , a new user is automatically added to Acumatica with the same name of the domain user; Acumatica then assigns roles to this new user according to the mapping.However, there is a bug in the API code and a user is created in Acumatica even though the domain user is not in any Active Directory group mapped to Acumatica roles. This new user profile is created automatically in Acumatica for this non-authorised domain user which gets permissions as guests. By default, Acumatica has a couple of screens opened to guests. The only thing we can do for the moment is to ensure that no screen is available for those authorised users (guests). I edited the InvoiceNotification template and assigned it at the Sales Order Preferences level for SO Invoices. However, when test emailing an SO Invoice, it still does not use the notification template assigned.What am I missing here?I tried assigning the notification template at the customer profile level and that worked. But, it’s not practical to assign the notification template at the customer level for 3,000 customers.I tried the same thing for Purchase Orders Preferences to assigned a notification template for mailing ID PURCHASE ORDER and it is not using that template when testing a Purchase Order email.

Is there any guidance on best practices for user profiles? I have a number of users that are no longer with our company and we have disabled them. I am wondering if there are any ramifications to deleting the user accounts to keep data cleaned up. I’m thinking this is a twice a year type activity, run a report and any users that have been disabled since they are no longer employed, their user profile would be deleted. Anyone have experience with something like this?
Hello,Hoping that someone can help me with what I thought would be an easy task. We have a couple of branches and each needs separate projects and thus separate Project ID’s. I have looked at a lot of different setup sections and cannot find anywhere that would allow me to change a setting that is associated with adding a different sequence for each branch. It does not matter what I put in the Start # it gives me the same generic error. I have reviewed the segmented keys section and what I am attempting to add does not violate the setup criteria. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
