Does anyone have a recommendation toward when to license Microsoft SQL Server per Cal verse per Core for a PCS Acumatica system. This customer would only be hosting the Acumatica database so I would think that one Cal per instance of Acumatica would be all that is needed. This assumes that users connect to the Acumatica web server and the server consumes one Cal as it connects to SQL. Can someone confirm this theory or make a recommendation. What other factors should we concider.Thanks
hi everybody,i set the “From” adress in our ShipmentConfirmationNotification to “versand@”, but it will always be overwritten by the user profile email settings of the automated sender, in this case “info@”. Does anybody know how to avoid this? Thank you!!Best Regards, Benjamin
Does anyone have an efficient way to grant a user view only access to the entire database?Thinking of an external auditor or a C-Level client, who wants to be able to poke around, but should not be able to create/modify/delete anything.Outside of creating a role and then clicking on every single form and saying view only.Hoping someone has come up with something more efficient!Thank you!
Hi All,Need help to figure out why the Automation Schedule are not working, we are not in lock out mode but still we are getting error as “Automation Schedule scenario has not been performed due to the database lockout”. Please help us.I think this is happening from yesterday after we published new customization package. Below are the steps we followed when doing package publish first put in lockout mode, then took snapshot then deleted the snapshot, then removed the lockout modethen again, when i was about to publish the package, i put in lockout mode again and published the package then removed from lockout mode
Hello,We are new install and working through our implementation. Have come across an issue that I’m hoping folks on this forum may be able to help with.As soon as we setup Segmented Key for our Project ID, and had 3 of the 4 segments turned on for validation (ie… only certain values can be used in that segment); now our ‘Non-Project’ code we setup in preferences no longer works?Is this a product defect/bug?As soon as I turn the validation off in the segmented keys, the non-project functionality works again. I realize that I can make a ‘dummy’ project that follows the segmented values setup, but that kind of defeats the purpose of this functionality to begin with.Anyone else run into this issue? Perhaps there is a hot fix to address this? Thanks, Lars
We have created a Sandbox instance with tenant, companies, calendar and financial periods configured and to ensure safety we take snapshots periodically to rollback changes if a mistake is made while configuring the system.Is there any method to revert the instance back to the original state, that is the system when you first create an instance? (no configurations)
Hello, We are planning to upgrade our server’s hardware in the coming days.Per my previous experience, this would cause the “installation ID” change.Then if I have to apply the license, I have to firstly deactivate the previous deployment on the old installation ID. But, right now, I can not find the deactivate button in customer portal.Is it not necessary anymore, or I have to go to a right place?
I have DeviceHub configured successfully with printers, but when I add a usb scale it exceeds the API request limit all on its own after a minute or two. Seems like devicehub is updating the SMScale table with the scale weight, but then forgetting to log itself out after??Does anyone have any ideas? TY!!

Hello,I have a test/development Acumatica instance running - Build 21.116.0049 . My Acumatica Configuration Wizard is version 21.108.0032. When I try and perform Application Maintenance, it says that work with that instance, I need to use a newer version of the configuration wizard.However, I cannot seem to figure out how to update the Configuration Wizard. I downloaded the latest installer from Acumatica, did a repair (since there was no option to update) with no success?How does one update the Configuration Wizard with interfering with the Instance Itself?
We are trying to inactive a branch and cannot because of a warehouse error we're getting “The ‘XXXX’ branch of the company cannot be set as inactive because the following related warehouses exist: ‘XXXX’”. Is there any issues/ramifications if we move the warehouse to a different branch?
Hello,I have a report that’s emailed out weekly. Everything is working fine with this report but there’s never any record of it in the All Emails page. I have to resort to Office 365 Message Trace to confirm that the email was actually sent. Is there a way to enable logging of such emails so they are viewable in All Emails?Thanks!

After upgrade to 2022 R1, get error that Employee is not a user when trying to create a timecard. Is the requirement not that we have to create an user for all Employees?
After our upgrade to A2022 R1, users are cannot create a Timecard for employees that are not setup as users. We have the delegate assigned. Error:Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Employee value 000001562 EP Error: The employee record is not associated with a user.IF this is the requirement, then this seems will cause major business process changes to enter time for employees associated to projects that are not users.
Hi During setting up Azure AD for client, there was notification given in Azure itself which recommend to use Microsoft Graph instead of Azure AD Graph which had deprecated since 2020. By 30 June 2022, Azure AD Graph will no longer be in service.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/migrate-azure-ad-graph-overviewDue to that , the client request us to use Microsoft Graph but inside Acumatica 2019R2 and R021R1 setup guide we still using Azure AD Graph. I just want to know is there a plan to support with Microsoft Graph. Is Acumatica R021R1 support Microsoft Graph?
