Our inventory is set up in a nonconventional manner where we have last cost being the place holder for the price we paid for an item.  We typically buy and resell.  Is there anyway to get the last cost to show on our home screen for stock items?  Our current list doesn’t have that as an option to add.  Or is there a way to get last cost to populate into current cost?

The areas you are looking at are two different costing methods. The bottom right with the last cost of 285,000.00 is part of AVG costing the area above is for the standard costing of the item. you can go either way depending on your business model and goals however they are different models.

@cmoreland , thanks.  The standard costing doesn’t allow me to fill out any of the fields.  Trying to get with our lead on the implementation but we haven’t gotten much headway. We’ve just been using the last cost as a placeholder at the moment so our listing team has a cost associated with the equipment we are trying to sell.

You should (depending on your access) be able to set the cost under the part and set the date it is active

Then Select the update cost action and your cost will be populated in the standard cost field.
