Is there a way we can download all the attachments from the Acumatica. Also, It possible to delete all the attachments from once screen.

@ranjithduraisamy72 I’m pretty sure Harish Dussa (couldn’t find his profile in the Community) created a customization on the Search in Files (SM202520) screen that would result in a batch/zip file of whatever files were output in the search.

@ranjithduraisamy72 Abhishek's right that there's no mass action for either one. Here's how far the standard screens go before you need the customization.

Search in Files (SM202520) is the one screen that searches across all uploaded files. You can filter by the form the file was uploaded from, by date, or by user, or select Show Files Not Linked to Any Record to find orphans. Get File and Delete File are both on the grid toolbar, but each one works on the highlighted row only. Selecting several rows doesn't change that. Delete File is permanent and the prompt says so, so try it in a test tenant off a snapshot first. A file can be linked to more than one record. Click the file name to open File Maintenance and check its links before you remove it.

For downloading in bulk without a customization, the REST API does it. Retrieve the records with $expand=files, and each file comes back with an href you can GET. A short script can loop through a whole form's records that way.

If you go the customization route, Brian Stevens posted working code for a processing screen that exports attachments: https://community.acumatica.com/develop-customizations-288/mass-download-attachments-from-acumatica-14180

Also, since 2021 R1, deleting a record deletes its attachments when nothing else links to them.

Regarding the delete all attachments action you asked about, the following comprehensive KB article may be more relevant. It explains how to reduce the database size by removing old file revisions and provides useful guidance around file cleanup in Acumatica:

How to reduce the database size by removing old file revisions

This should be particularly helpful for the bulk deletion/cleanup side of your requirement.

Hope this helps!
