Acumatica-LotSerialNbrAttribute-2023R1-ONWARD - Using Attributes as Parameters

Before the recent update and enhancements for 2023 R1/R2 to Acumatica-LotSerialNbrAttribute-2023R1-ONWARD I was able to use LotSerialNbrAttributes as parameters in a GI and Report. There have been some table updates, we followed the instructions and updated the DAC with an SQL script and published the new customization package. We updated the tables, relationships, and fields in our custom GIs and reports that reference these tables. However, I receive and error when trying to use Attributes from the tables as parameters, with the previous version we did not have this problem. If I try to use one of the lot serial number attributes as a parameter it says it cannot find the field. Yet, if I deactivate the parameter and conditions for the field and only list the attributes in the results, it find the fields no problem. Concatenate string and integer fields on generic inquiry

Hello, I am trying to concatenate string and integer fields from ARSalesPrice Table - InventoryID, CustPriceClassID, PriceType, CustomerID, BreakQty. The purpose of this GI is to count if we have duplicate prices at the same break qty. But currently, it does not let me concatenate string and integer fields together. Could you please advise how that is achievable?

Question: Best Practices for refactoring general inquiries to increase performance when joining multiple tables

Hello, At our company, many people need to access the details section of a sales order, as critical for doing our jobs. We have a generic inquiry which pulls data from multiple tables, which impacts performance quite significantly, by taking often 45 seconds or more to load the query. This may not sound like a lot, but when dozens of people run this query dozens of time each day, it creates a lot of friction.I suspect that there can be significant gains made to performance, with SQL best practices such as not scanning multiple tables, or other system level ways by using lazy loading, database caching, or using a concurrent thread pool. Please direct me to a relevant thread or resource. If not, please respond and I will provide instructions on how to recreate the behavior of the query. Efficiency is so key here, because it is one of our largest pain points with the ERP since so many people rely on this general inquiry, it can save the company thousands of dollars each year along with t

Reference custom field with formula in GI condition

Is it possible to reference a custom field derived from a formula in the conditions of a Generic Inquiry? i have the below formula that will tell me if a sales order is within our capacity or if the order is more than we can handle. How do i reference this in conditions so that the generic inquiry will only show me ones that are over capacity. i can do it with a filter, but i dont know how to have the filter show up when i put the GI on the side bar. Business Event Triggered by Population of GI

Afternoon guys, Hope you’re all amazing! I am attempting to automate our ‘Add Order’ to shipment. I have got the Import Scenario and GI working but can’t seem to figure how I can get a business event to trigger when the GI is populated. GI condition based on checkbox being marked

Trying to make a GI that has a Condition to only show results is a specific Warehouse Item detail exists, and if that Warehouse Item detail has the Override Replenishment check box checked. This is what I have currently:But my results do not filter out just the check boxed items. And I triggering the validation of a check box incorrectly?

Trying to use one field for separate objects in GI

Hi everyone,I am trying to add a description field for two separate fields, the PhantomBomID and the regular InventoryID. Is there any way to direct the description field towards the different descriptions for each item?Here’s a screenshot of my results grid. The underlined items are the ID’s that need to have a description, and the highlighted items are the descriptions themselves. Here are my relations. I tried relating a separate field to the PhantomBomID, but it caused me to have duplicate records.

Using Parameter in GI Grouping

Hello everyone, Has anyone tried to use a Parameter in GI Grouping? I want to do something very simple. Using a Boolean Parameter I would like to add a grouping. To do so:I have created a <checkbox> parameter called “GroupByTask” allowing users to check/uncheck on GI as a parameter. I have added a grouping as “=IIf([GroupByTask]=True, [PMTask.TaskCD], '')”, In the result grid I have the exact formula as a column.When I run the inquiry I get an error saying “Must declare the scalar variable "@P0".” When I trace the query in SQL Profiler I see Acumatica generates a query that in Group By section has “CASE WHEN @P0 = 1 THEN [PMTask].[TaskCD] ELSE '' END” but the platform doesn’t declare any parameter and pass to the query for it. Bills & Adjustments -- incorrect excel export

Hi all, we’re having issues with our Bill & Adjustments excel export… it seems it’s only exporting fields based on one column (Vendor name) and not another (Description). Any ideas? You can see B&A shows 10 records, but only 6 were exported into Excel. Thanks!

We have a custom report that will display list of stock items with their age and the customer that is associated to those items. However, one stock item can have multiple customers linked and this is causing the items to not appear on the list.Is it possible to add multi select functionality on the report designer?
