Regular notes change the icon on the primary list to show a record has a note but if the note is a pop-up, it does not change. The Acumatica suggested work around to open the record does not seem to be a reasonable solution.

As a work around, you can JOIN with the NOTE table and bring the pop-up note on the Primary List.
