Hi,

I just noticed that the End Qty. on Historical Inventory Balance (IN616000) doesn't match Historical Inventory Valuation (IN617000) or Inventory Balance — while those two agree with each other.

I looked up known issues and saw earlier versions may have had this problem, so I ran Recalculate Inventory with Rebuild Item History Since starting from the very beginning (2018). After the rebuild the numbers did change, but they still don't tie.
The most confusing part: the report doesn't even agree with itself. Even if we ignore Beg/End Qty. and only look at one report run, when I add up the sales amounts from all the invoices in the detail, the total doesn't match the figure the report itself shows — but it does match Historical Inventory Valuation.

So my questions:

  1. Is Historical Inventory Balance deprecated, or is something wrong with it?
  2. What is the root cause, and can it be fixed?

For now I can use Historical Inventory Valuation instead, since it already shows qty and matches Inventory Balance. But I'd prefer to understand why IN616000 is off and get it fixed. We are using Build 25.201.0213.3
