I’m trying to create a drill down GI for a GI that is grouped by customer and branch, between a range of dates.  When I click on the Net Sales Amount, I want to drill down to the invoices that make up this balance.

However, in my drilldown GI, I can’t specify a range of dates:

It also doesn’t accept >= @startdate or <=@enddate as a parameter.

I’ve attached the GI’s.

Has anyone else faced something similar?

Hi @MarciaW ,

I tested this and it worked for me.  I configured the date parameters on both parent and child, and mapped the navigation parameters as shown below.  Hope this helps!

Hi @MarciaW ,

I would recommend that you create two parameters on your drilldown GI, for StartDate and EndDate.  Define conditions based on those parameters in the drilldown GI using the <= and >=.

In the parent GI, pass the values of the parameters on the Navigation Parameters tab.

Hope this makes sense and helps!

Hi @lauraj46

Thanks!  I did try that, but maybe I should give it another shot.  The parameter fields did not populate with the information I sent them.
