Billing Cases Via Projects

Does the system support the billing of cases via project billing?

On a case, I enter a billable work item and link it to a project and task.  I close (not release) the case.  The time shows on a timecard which I release.  For a billable case, in PMTran, I see the transaction marked to exclude from billing.  For a non-billable case, the transaction is not marked to exclude from billing.  In either case type, the time does not appear (not available) on the proforma invoice.

Hi @brucewarrell96

The Billable checkbox on the Case Class enables billing through Customer Contract, but still can be related to the Project to hit its Balances, but to prevent billing the Customer multiple times for the same work system marks such a line on Project Transactions to be Excluded.

To perform billing through the Project, you need to not mark the Billable checkbox as True, otherwise system will mark such lines to be excluded from the billing.
